This place was absolutely delicious! I broke my 6 year streak of not eating sushi. Who would've thought it'd come to an end in Wyoming??? And what a delicious end it was. Husband's dish had like a half a head of broccoli. Fantastic! My kung pao had almost like 2 whole bell peppers. Amazing. 💕 And soooo much shrimp. 💕 We ordered way more than usual, but apparently we had no trouble clearing our plates because no to-go boxes are heading back to our room at the Hilton. Entrees came with steamed white rice. No additional charge. Not shown in photos.

unsweetened tea was good. not bitter. nigiri tuna, salmon and red snapper were great. salmon roll and tuna roll was great. soy sauce was right. one less start as one if the wait staff was not very friendly and was insistent he really wanted his menu back when i asked to keep it. i would give 4.5 stars.

Didn't expect to be impressed by sushi in the middle of Wyoming.... but genuinely floored by how good it is! As an avid sushi conisoeur I can confidently say that the Alaska Roll is by far one of the best, if not THE best roll I have ever had. It's hard to eat something and be disappointed. Some other recommendations: Ebi Tempura, Lo Meng, and the Orange Chicken. As for rolls get the Alaska (and thank me later), and the Vegas are my top 2. Photos shows Alaska Roll. YES, there is lemon on it. It is just so perfectly thin that it's hard to spot.

The food here was great for Wyoming. The thai iced tea is definitely a must. However the Japanese terriaki chicken was not the best definitely get the combination or the sesame chicken instead.

Tasty about what you'd expect to pay for dinner. Enjoyed the fire roll. Generals chicken was pretty mild on kick but still very good. Kids liked the egg drop soup too.

My first sushi experience was here about 10 years ago. Since then, my wife and I have enjoyed and not enjoyed sushi all over. Came back today and this place still has some of the best I've ever had!

Got stuck in rock spring due to the freeway closure. Stopped at Bonsai and it did not disappoint. Very good food, fast, good portions, and friendly people. Definitely would recommend. I had the BBQ pork Singapore Mei Fun. Very good!

This place is always wonderful and probably one of our top picks in Rock Springs. Our favorite rolls are the Tuna roll, Green River roll, and the Fire roll. We tried the Ichiban roll this time also and it was delicious. The staff is always friendly and accommodating.

On a 90° day they had nice cold air conditioning. The food was delicious and came out quick! And the staff was super friendly and helpful! We happened to be celebrating my aunt's birthday and without mentioning it the staff noticed and provided a nicely plated cake and sung happy birthday. Over all the atmosphere, quality of service, and quality of food was amazing. I definitely recommend this place to anyone!!

Wonderful food! One of my favorite places to eat. The service is always fast & friendly.

Food and service were excellent.... however I left still hungry. The amount served was a bit under what I anticipated. I felt a bit overcharged given the amount.

While driving to Nevada from Denver, my road trip party and I pulled off to enjoy some food at Bonsai. I read a bunch of reviews that said their sushi was good, and I had to try it out for myself, seeing as Bonsai is in Wyoming and thus not near the sea. I needed to know if their sushi was as fresh as claimed. I have to say that it was pretty darn good ! The service was a bit slow, and it was a tad bit expensive, but I understand that it was expensive because it has to be shipped in. If I ever find myself back in Wyoming with a sushi craving, I would definitely go back. I forgot to take a pic of the menu and thus I forgot what rolls we ordered. They are shown below.

Delightful treat for Saturday dinner. We had sushi and a poo poo platter, hot and sour soup and hot tea. Green River sushi was delicious .

You don’t really think sushi when in Rock Springs Wyoming, but hey you can get some pretty great sushi here! Friendly staff and good selection of food and fish. Very clean tables and excellent atmosphere.

I have always left too full for my own good! Everything always tastes so great, I can't stop. This is definitely the best Chinese food in Sweetwater County! I highly recommend the chicken lo mein, mongolian beef, and any of the sushi! You literally can't go wrong, though - whatever you order will always be fantastic.

Who would've thought in Wyoming! Food was excellent 👍 husband had sushi and said it was awesome & shrimp fried rice. I had sweet &sour pork. It was delicious 😋
