    My vehicle was stolen, they don’t alert you about the criminal activity that goes on until months later. They sugar coated when notifying others in the community saying my vehicle was discovered missing , like no someone STOLE my vehicle. Gates never work and always broke, trash is always over flowing. Management is not concerned about what goes on in the community.

    I have to take a moment to brag on the GREAT Customer Service I received from Kwame. He kept me informed and made sure I got everything I needed in the apartment I selected. Make sure you ask for him!!! He will greet you with a warm smile and the best attitude!! Kudos to the team at Lake St James!!!

    I honestly didn’t want to leave a review. But i felt the need to share my experience. This is the nastiest apartment complex I’ve ever seen in my life . Cats and roaches are the real property managers!!! Then they act surprised when you complain about the infestation and trash .. if i could give NO STAR i honestly would .

    Everyone in the office and maintenance staff are nothing but friendly and helpful. I have not had one negative interaction with any staff. Every time I have an urgent maintenance issue, they are right there to fix the issue. My neighbors are quiet and friendly, and the complex itself is so quiet. No complaints here.

    Kwame and Jennifer delivered superb customer service. They went above and beyond to ensure I was apart of the community. The unit was lovely and I Love it. The hardwood floors, update appliances, nice snow white cabinets were a bonus. They made me feel at home even before I moved in.

    This property uses AI "Technology " to approve the applications for apartment rental...Beware, I have a 790+ credit score that AI didn't recognize...No one has money or time to waste. They count applicants as move-in even though you haven't signed a lease yet...Bad business.😒

    My fiance' and I moved in to the complex over 60 days ago, and we have received nothing less than an EXCELLENT experience thus far. From the amazing customer service shown by the office staff, (Tichelle, Kwame and Robin) to the superb Maintenance guy (Cornelle). After selling my home after 20 years, we THANK YOU for helping us feel so at home here at LSJ. We absolutely LOVE our newly renovated apartment. You are greatly appreciated!! Thanks for all you do!!

    So, I moved in November, and I did not see any roaches during my walk through of course but then when I got my keys roaches were coming from everywhere and has been since. Pest control came by and sprayed then I asked them to come again to bomb my place which I saw the agent write that down, but they only came again and sprayed which was not the request. My water in the bathroom sink is dirty and the water in the tub did not get hot at all not even warm. So, I was staying with family because I cannot use that water. Maintenance comes for the second time and finally change the nozzle to the tub and now the water gets hot. Idk if the nozzle was the issue but the water gets hot now. However, the sink water is still dirty, and I refuse to brush my teeth in it. Roaches are crawling on my bed I cannot sleep knowing roaches are crawling on me. I cannot cook with roaches crawling around my food. I have only stayed in the apartment a few times when roaches were crawling on my bed. I do go by there every day to see what's happening. I bought Raid and Home Defense spray I'm always spraying it, but it will not help. I had maintenance caulk the baseboards where roaches could be coming from but that did not help. I emailed about my concerns and never heard back after 24hrs until I called the property manager never reached out to me after I was told she saw my email. I am looking to break my lease which will be three months of rent in order to do so which is extremely unfair. One extra month I am okay doing but three is insane. I asked to switch units and even willing to pay more in rent. I know the response will be to stop by the office to further discuss my concerns and the gate has been in the process of getting fixed. UPDATE as of 12/20/23: There are still roaches on my bed and inside my dresser. I woke up a huge roach in the kitchen dead from the pest control spray and some smaller roaches still crawling around. Also, this morning as I was getting ready for work there was a roach crawling on the ceiling in the bathroom. I am looking for corporate number to assist me with getting out of this lease. I refuse to buy pots and pans, trash can, groceries, and a microwave because the roaches will have a field day. Whenever I turn the heat on roaches come out more. I have to wrap up in my cover to protect myself since they are on my bed. I am still washing my face and brushing my teeth in the bathtub and not the dirty sink water. I got a response on 12/19 which I am sure was an automated message, but I have still not heard from someone, and it is 12:15pm the next day.

    Terrible they went up on rent every time bill posted they wouldn’t come fix anything and you’re paying for pest control but nine times out of ten u still have bugs in your apartment. The pool is never open …. The bathroom tub peels the first layers of white lining so ur exposed to the dirty from the ppl that lived there before you …. It’s nasty and very dirty… Not only is it nasty the community is bad there was always cars being broken into and ppl stealing it’s terrible … I did leave before my lease was up … they have to do a lot better ..

    I moved in my unit mid March by the end of March my hot water unit was broken NO hot water. Maintenance came and reset it but the VERY next day my hot water was gone again. I still paid my full rent. The NEXT month this issue was still there and not only was it extra fees added to my rent before they fixed the issue I got a late fee. That is ridiculous and NO one is reaching out at all! I have to reset my hot water heater EVERY morning which is hazardous and every evening just to have hot water and it’s leaking a brown fluid that maintenance know about. I’ve called and emailed Jennifer and she has yet to reach back out to me. I spoke with Quame who insisted he made this an urgent issue yet no one has reached back out. I just pray I don’t get electrocuted trying to reset this hot water just so I can take a proper bath! Not to mention the first month and a half I couldn’t use my master bathroom because the toilet was leaking every time I flushed no one answered my request and the only reason it got fixed was because I was able to hawk down maintenance myself. VERY unhappy and I haven’t been here but 2 months 😒
