Fantastic. We drove by a sign that said " 17 dollar lobster roll" and thought it sounded too good to be true. We got the regular sized rolls with butter AND Mayo. They were out of this world and compare favorable to some rolls that come it at almost twice the price. Chowder was great too. The Captian is an absolute delight. Don't pass this spot up.

Best lobster roll around at the best price! My friend and I have spent the last 25 years looking for the best places to eat. Today we found the #1 spot for lobster rolls. Wayne gave us a warm welcome and friendly service. WTG, Wayne! We will be back.

Best lobster roll you’ll find! Simple roll, lots of perfectly cooked lobster tossed in mayo and butter, simple bun. What more could you ask for. Best price point around by far.

Ordered regular size lobster roll with mixed sauce(butter and mayo). It’s REALLY GOOD I love the taste, texture and toasted butter bread after having a lot of local lobster rolls. I would definitely recommend it if you want an amazing lobster roll experience. Not pricy only $18 for 1 and $35 for two! It’s definitely worth it.

Stopped by for a lobster roll and it did not disappoint! The owner was super nice and the lobster was SO GOOD and priced great! It’s not your typical “fancy restaurant” type place, but don’t let that stop you from ordering! Go ahead and give it a try!

We were lucky this place was open today on a Sunday, which evidently is not normal. We got 2 large lobster rolls, which were really good. You can have them with mayonnaise commayonnaise, butter, or both.

Coming Jersey, I stayed in the Northern Maine area for 1 week. Lobster roll here was phenomenal. The owner(forgot the gentleman’s name) was nice and a friendly individual. Highly recommend if you want some fresh lobster straight from the ports of Maine.

Had Alaskan Captains (large) Lobster Roll. Was 1/4 pound lobster in mayonnaise and butter served in a toasted hot dog roll. Was absolutely delicious. No indoor seating. Sat on picnic table outside. Found out, Alaskan Captain is also available through Costco! Via Costco or at the Rockland Maine restaurant, you won't regret it. Two thumbs up.

We are from out of state and Wayne was so warm and welcoming . He introduced himself made great conversation and made us feel comfortable. His lobster rolls are AMAZING. The most meat I’ve ever seen on a lobster roll and all good meaty pieces. Fresh and buttery or Mayo if that’s what you like. I will most definitely be coming back next summer ! Also will try his lobster Mac and cheese sold at Costco.

The DO NOT MISS place in town! The lobster rolls are amazing. The shrimp scampi (wait til you try it) is absolutely perfect. I cannot recommend this place enough. Also, the owner is an amazing guy. Do yourself a favor and stop in, order up, sit back, relax, and ask about his fishing travels. You’ll get the full Maine experience from a true Rockland legend!

Delicious lobster rolls! I’ve been living in Maine for work for 2 years now and this is the best most authentic lobster roll yet. Definitely a hidden treasure, and worth the stop!
