I recently visited Panera Bread in Rockville Center, NY, and I must say the staff was great, friendly, and helpful. However, if you're not a regular customer in this type of establishment, you may need some guidance on their lingo. Nevertheless, they offer a fantastic selection of delicious food to choose from. I opted for a to-go order, which included the mouthwatering lobster roll, flavorful chicken noodle soup, and a side of chips for lunch. Later, I indulged in their delightful strawberry salad with chicken for dinner. The service was excellent, and the food was truly delicious. If you happen to be in the area, I highly recommend checking them out. Just keep in mind that the prices are slightly higher than your average fast-food restaurant.

Wish I could give zero stars but 1 is the least so here goes... this is what happened to my sister today at Rockville Center Panera. Corporate needs to get involved this is unacceptable! Food is great, drinks are great but customer service is lacking at this location. My rapid pick up orders are never at the designated rapid pick up area and I always have to wait on the line to get my order. When I finally questioned it, I was told "You weren't waiting that long." And when I asked for his name, he would not give it. I asked for a manager and he said "Now, you're acting ridiculous. I helped you." And he told me there is no manager in. I've been to many Panera locations, but this one is the only one I have encountered rude staff in. Will not return. Do better Panera! Your staff needs to be trained on how to treat their customers if you intend to have them come back. Too late for us though we will not return!

The atmosphere is good. Employees are nice. But the bottom line is that Panera bread is basically overpriced hospital food. I had a sandwich from the cafeteria in south Nassau hospital. No different. And Panera bread is cheap with their portions. Order a bowl of soup, and they don't even fill the bowl. It's maybe 65 percent full at best. The coffee is good though.

Be careful with the chicken you eat from here, I always order the same sandwich at every Panera and NEVER get chicken that looks like this. This is horrid. When I called to complain about it, I was told they don’t sell raw chicken.

I like Panera Bred, and if I'm on the way and want to eat, I always stop by. ❤️I liked this place, everything was prepared very quickly and how I love hot hot soup and salad. The employees are friendly and the place was clean. Parking is located behind the building, there are many places.

This is by far my favorite place to go . Today the manager ( sorry I forgot your name) was very pleasant & kind. Please don’t change 🙂

Order a sandwich it was a complete mess it had sliced chicken and chunky chicken that looked pink(raw). Idk looked like either they ran out n defrosted it then threw it in. Bottom part of bread was soggy too. Definitely not ordering from here anymore.

When I walked in there was nobody on the line. I walked up to the front and every single worker there made eye contact with me and said nothing. I then got the attention of somebody and then I was told that I have to wait longer so that they can finish their conversation about a party from the previous night. I promptly walked out of the establishment. Only to notice the next person walking in, was a much lighter skin color than of mine, was served immediately. First my ancestors land is stolen and now my local stores refuse to serve me. Disgusting 🤢

There was an issue with an order that I picked up from the Rockville Centre location. I call the store and spoke to Maria who more than rectified the situation. She hand delivered a replacement order. I will definitely go back to this store! Excellent customer service!!

Very disappointed with the food tonight. Nothing like the one in Bellmore! Complained about the grilled cheese that was extra toasted. Hard as a rock!

The cashier offered more suggestions than those that were apparent. I took one of them. The kitchen is always fast and efficient. They pay attention to special requests. Plenty of parking in the rear if none out front.

Always a fan of Panera. This one especially. Always friendly, clean, and efficient. I love the new express ordering system with the iPads. It's super convenient. This location is good, too. Right in the middle of the biz district of Rockville Centre. Parking no prob. And you're right in the middle of some really great stores and services.

I haven't been out in public much in the last year. However, I feel at ease at my local Panera's in Rockville Centre. It wasn't crowded at 10 am. My toasted bagel was brought to my table. There was always someone cleaning something. I had a nice visit with a friend over a good cup of strong coffee.☕☕. Very pleasant way to spend an hour.

This Panera in Rockville Centre is the worst. Months ago, my wife ordered a sandwich, a salad, and a grilled cheese sandwich for delivery. She ordered de Asian citrus salad. This salad got delivered with lettuce that was rotten, and the grilled cheese sandwich had no cheese in it. At the time, my wife called the store, and they refused to refund or exchange the items. When she told me about it, I thought that it was probably a mistake from the employees prepping the food. To my surprise, now I believe this particular panera serves food purposely, disregarding any food standards. Today, my son wanted to go there. Reluctantly, my wife agreed. I ordered the asian citrus salad, and guess what? It came the same way my wife described it months ago. I could not believe they were still serving rotten lettuce on the salad. I complained to the manager (Lallitz) and asked him why they served food like that, He smiled and said the lettuce was like that because it was kept very cold. Clearly, the lettuce was spoiled and told him they couldn't serve spoiled food. Please stay away from this place. I will never return to that panera.

You would think being a sip member would make the difference. However, In a recent visit to Panera, I had a disappointing encounter with manager Angela Collado. I asked for an extra piece of bread, but she refused, insisting on an additional charge of $1, even though I had spent nearly $30 on my order. This experience left me dissatisfied with the customer service provided by Panera.

Rapid pick up isn’t that rapid if you have to stand on a line to get it. While staring at my already prepared food and paid for sitting on the side standing on line of people making there orders. Makes no sense .. try a new system. Seems counterproductive

Placed an order for 5 sandwiches to pick up, opened bag and found only 4 sandwiches, good thing I checked. Brought it to the cashier, went to the back to get the missing sandwich but came out apologizing saying they had no bread to make a sandwich…thought this was Panera BREAD. Got home the bread was hard and barely had meat in the sandwiches. Horrible service, I will never go back there!

I like Rockville Center Panera. There is always a fresh bakery and a friendly server. However, Panera's coffee is a bit disappointing. I also bought 13 bagels and cream cheese this morning and shared them with my classmates. Thanks !

We ordered soup through the app. It was hot and ready for pickup at the time indicated in the during checkout. The Cream of Chicken and Wild Rice Soup was very tasty. The restaurant was clean, the location was great, parking was a challenge but the meal was perfect.

I'm a client of Panera Bread for many years and always had a good experience with them. Today I went to this location in the first time and ordered 3 soups to go. When I was waiting for my order I asked nicely from the women that made the order if when she add the bread I can get at least 1 piece of the corner from the bread. She was very rude and said no. I took the bag and left, never got this vibe from this company and attitude. I definitely not going to go back to this branch. This behavior was really unnecessary!

I told my Sister in Cali no one makes that citrus salad better than Sacramento! Freshest of fruits, lettuce and chicken! Orange Scones are Heavenly!

Yesterday I purchased a cup of latte st this location. The lady at the cashier handed me a cup of latte that was heavily diluted with milk to the proportion that is no longer LATTE but milk with a hint of espresso. It also came with no foam on the top. AND it was Luke warm like around 30⁰C. I told her I only drink latte, and the temperature and the flavor of this cup of milk is no longer anywhere close to LATTE. So she agreed to make another one for me. The 2nd cup was a lot better, although the espresso:milk was still not the right ratio, the temperature was much better, and there was a bit of a foam on the top. She handed it to me with an attitude and said, "here is your latte 'EXTRA HOT'." when I got it in my hand, it was extra hot, hut just about close to the right temperature. And I said, "I didn't ask for extra hot. I just wanted it to be the right temperature." She ignored me and just walked away. So I thought the manager would care that he has a staff member who is somewhat lack of customer service. I asked to speak to him. When he heard what I had to say, he just kind of bluffed me off and said that she probably had a bad day. He didn't even apologize to me for the attitude I got. Don't even mention the cup of latte that cost more tha starbucks and still did not meet the standard latte in quality and temperature. Right then, I almost felt like I just wanted to ask for a refund and dump the whole cup of latte. I will not go back to this Panera again.

Cashiers are amazing! The food quality is great. You can see everyone is hard at work in the kitchen provided the fast and high quality service. A lady also makes her rounds often making sure the seating area is clean and tidy.

Always good coffee soups and breads. We had breakfast and egg bacon sandwiches were excellent. The place needs to be cleaned more, the table tops were dirty and floor full of crumbs at 10am.

Had the Autumn Squash Soup from here. It was delicious and perfect for a cold evening. The baguette that came with it was amazing and delicious. I got the bear claw pastry with almonds for free (when you download the Panera App they give you a treat and you can pick what you want to get) and I enjoyed it. I recommend heating it up for a bit in the microwave for a nice buttery effect. The wifi was good. There was a lot of seating available. The staff was wonderful. Overall enjoyed the experience and will be coming back for more.

Food was good, portion size was smaller while the prices were higher than other Panera. You do the math. Doubt if I'll return.

Dining in has been fine, but delivery or pick up... they always forget something or the quality is just very poor. The bread I received yesterday was literally hollow. The store clearly cares much much less when you are not there to ask them about the food you got.

This is the closest Panera to me so I've been unfortunately coming here for 8 years and it has remained consistently terrible. They're always out of ingredients, make errors on orders, and take forever even when the store is pretty empty. It's worth the drive to go to a different Panera.

See other review most Panera Bread meet my standard. So each of the ones I have visited have the same rating. I go for the lobster roll in the summer.

The egg white ,spinach an avocado breakfast sandwich always hits the spot. And the coffee is pretty darn good

This locations manager was so courteous and awesome. He really wanted all his customers to be satisfied and was working so hard to ensure that. 10 stars for him alone. They charged me for a lobster roll and later found out they didn’t have any lobster. Manager was so apologetic and sincere. He offered many different things so make sure I wasn’t upset and really tried to go above and beyond for something I wasn’t even upset about. In the end after returning my money, he ran over as he saw us getting ready to leave and picked up our trays and plates for us and gave us freshly baked cookies. Went above and beyond for something so minor. Truly a nice guy

This is one of my favorite Paneras they are fast friendly and neat. VERY good bread and bake goods done right on premises , if your lucky you might score a warm piece ! The space is big so it can accommodate groups, book clubs or small staff meetings . 4 stars only because they no longer have my favorite cherry balsamic dressing lol

As much as I love Panera bread of Rockville center and Lawrence New York I was very disappointed today after a very tiring babysitting day in Bellmore I decided to stop with my husband at Rockville center at your store we both ordered Mediterranean bowls with chicken unfortunately the lettuce inside was not fresh perhaps it wasn’t a good day at Panera bread in Rockville center I’m not sure why but hopefully we don’t get upset stomachs towards the end of the day I love Panera bread I just wish it was fresher today thank you A little disappointed but I’m sure it will be corrected!

If you are looking for a panera bread with below average food quality, look no further. I order two chipotle chicken avocado melts with extra chipotle mayo and broccoli cheddar soup. Both of my sandwiches were done as if slapped together on a Conveyor belt. My bread was over toasted, my avocados were black (rotten), my chicken was dry, they skimped me on the peppers that come with the sandwich, and best of all they confused extra chipotle sauce for NONE AT ALL. I was so appalled and frustrated when I got home from a long day of work, that I literally took the time to complain about my experience. I’m being charged for over priced food tossed on a plate with little to no assembly. The only thing they got right was my soup! If I EVER come back to this establishment, it will be solely on the merit of convenience, not quality.

Consistently good bread. Love their cinnamon raisin bread. But you need to be there very early to snag one. They are gone very early in am. Good for lunch. A bit pricey but quality is good.
