tldr lessons learned: ask for pictures of detailed nails they’ve done before to have a better understanding of their abilities. my first time going in, i asked for an appt with anyone. I went in to ask if she could duplicate the nails for me on this inspiration picture. she said she can. I told her the color can be different and I don’t need the flower but I love the lines. After a great pedicure, we got started on the gel manicure. As you can see it’s not close to the inspiration picture, and I was asking her if she could bring some lines closer together but then she started adding dots and a flower I was like ??? I just wanted what was in the picture, I told her that was not it, the lines were so far apart and not following each other and some lines were not filled in. She said I wasn’t looking at it right. with my permission, she dremeled everything off and we aimed for something simpler, a colored french tip. At this point, if everything else went well I wouldve given this a better review. I can forget that previous painful experience because yes, it was a difficult ask. but, please see picture of how it was awful again, she volunteered to add the white lines, that were not filled in again. And I’m pretty sure french tips dont look like that. Also note my nails were not shaped like that previously, she shaped them like that. I called the place to ask for a fix because I was pretty upset. They said they will refund me the gel nails cost and I can come in for a fix. I was worried about getting dremeled again but they said they will remove it safely. I got a beautiful french tip by the owner himself. But, my nails were dremeled again, they started breaking off after 1.5 weeks (which has not happened before), they also did not refund me, instead, they gave me a certificate for a free gel manicure next time. sadly, I will not be coming back, I dont know who the middle aged nail tech lady is; it was my first time there and I’ll just take my losses. environment was good, prices are reasonable, people are friendly, but specifically for me it was an difficult experience.

My daughter and I discovered Timothy's some twelve years ago. We returned regularly because the professionals provided an experience. They trimmed and cleaned our feet and hands. They provided massages that resonated throughout the entire body. We would leave feeling like we were walking on clouds. Due to military circumstances, we had to move. On this date we had to travel a great distance to patronize this shop. There were changes. Timothy's had expanded. There were at least thirty chairs and manicuring tables, most were empty. We still had to wait thirty minutes for someone to see us. The pedicurist I had was okay, and he did a somewhat okay job. There was no massage, he didn't clean all of the calluses, and he didn't use any lotion or cuticle oil to soften the skin. It was not a good feeling. I suspect Timothy brought all that new furniture, paid to have the place remodeled, but didn't have the funds to hire qualified people. The whole crew had been changed over since our last visit. We won't be going back.

I was recommended this salon by a friend and I haven’t went anywhere else since! Susan is my nail tech and she always does a fantastic job and very attentive. She makes it easy and convenient to make appointments. The staff is nice and the salon is clean and updated. I’m so happy with my nails every time and they look good until my next refill!

I have been coming here for over 5 years, you can never go wrong with a nail dip and pedicure with Bee! Bee pays close attention to detail, she is fast, efficient, and funny! Really though all the techs do a really nice job.

This was my first time at this salon and it was amazing! Everyone was super welcoming and friendly. I went to get mani/pedi done for myself and my daughter (who is 4) and they have such a cute set up for the kids, and adults to sit close by. The nail tech that did my daughters nails was amazing at making her feel comfortable and had conversation with her the whole time which really enhanced my daughters experience. She’s already excited to come back again! I came into the salon with a picture and idea of how I wanted my nails to look, a couple of nails with a marble-esque design, and right away the person who I was originally scheduled with said that she wouldn’t be able to do that style so I was passed off to another available tech that could. Honestly I respect the first tech for being true to herself and not starting when she knew she couldn’t do it. A lot of other places I’ve been to, the tech would just wing it and it wouldn’t come close to what was envisioned, so I’m super happy she was professional enough to pass me off to a coworker. The nail tech that I ended up with did a wonderful job and I am very happy with the outcome! Even when my daughter was done and was waiting for me to finish my full set, my nail tech offered her water and some snacks. You can tell the staff here work as a team and really care about their customers and the quality of their work. I 100% would recommend and 100% will be coming back. Side note: They even have their own ATM inside the salon in case you forget cash for tips Edit: Went back again for another Mani/Pedi with my little one and this salon still was amazing. Will add pics from every visit.

This was my first time at this Nail salon! I saw a girl and I complimented her on her nails, and she recommended me to this Nail salon! Everyone was really nice, and BEE did amazing on my nails!! They gave a complimentary drink, and had snacks which was just what one needed:) The price for a fill and pedi was really reasonable, therefore I will be coming back!!!!!

This place needs to train their associates about American Disability Act… they were very disrespectful to a hearing impaired person. Regardless of your ⭐️ Reviews when you have not properly trained your associates to be respectful to ADA your business has failed enormously. I have been a loyal customer for a few years and I felt so extremely uncomfortable with this situation. I will write to the Cosmetology Board of Md.

I have been here a handful of times, and have had a different experience each time. I was hesitant to go back because of the inconsistency, but my young daughter wanted to go to a salon. They have a cute area for children to receive pedicures and offered the service, so I figured why not. Unfortunately, the service given to my daughter was left to be desired. We were able to receive pedicures in the same area, but she had her manicure done in her pedicure chair. The nice thing about the pedicure chair was it had a massager just like the adult chairs, but hers wasn’t turned on until she was done with the service and by another technician. The service was rushed, which was okay bc she was happy and all smiles and she didn’t know any better. When it was time for my manicure, we were separated and when I requested if she could be moved to sit next to me, the response received was, tell her nail tech. Said nail tech was packing and leaving. I was able to get her since the person doing my nails was looking thru the gel samples to find a match to a color for me. My nail tech was overall kind to my daughter, which I appreciated, but I would have commented more if my daughter wasn’t with me. This experience was for her and I did not want to ruin her excitement. The manicure and pedicure I received turned out okay and I liked the color and effort to match, but a rotary was used on my natural nails and cuticles which had left them red. Again, I would typically say something, but having a young child with me who was very interested in the experience gave me pause. All in all, I would not return again. It is unfortunate bc I was hoping to find a salon that I could get my nails routinely done along with having both my daughters also getting mani/pedis. I will say my daughter was happy, but better service could have been given/not rushed. Maybe the service is better for regulars.

worst nail salon i dont usually post bad reviews but it was just too much... first of all they discriminated me the lady that did my nails asked me to pay before getting my nails done but all their old white customers paid after getting their nails done. i usually get my nails done with bee and she never treated me like this! the lady that did my nails also left me after finishing my nails and never came back to tell me when my nails were done i was never properly greated either the whole experince was very diminishing made me feel extremely uncomfortable what a racist establishment and to top it all off my nail broke in a day, i got acrylics done and if they were properly done the whole nail would NOT just fall off... you wont get treated nicely at this establishment unless you are white. would not recommend!!!!!
