Is it possible to give minus stars? If so, that is what I would give this facility.. There are serious issues with this facility. First, it is a poorly run establishment that does not care about their patients. My mom has been there for a very short time (less than 10 days) and the experience has been just awful in every aspect of the Word. The only two things they do well is transfer you to lines that no one responds to and ... well, can't think of anything else. No communication skills at all. Give good lip service but extremely poor customer service. They do not have COVID-19 protocols in place. I arrived to the facility.. no one asked for proof of my being vaccinated... my mom has not been vaccinated and I was told she was to be quarantined for 14 days... never happened. How do you run a facility that allows an 80 year old woman to sit in a diaper soaked with urine several hours on multiple occasions? My Mom is so mentally and emotionally damaged that she was talking about wanting to end her life because of the painful physical and verbal abuse she received since arriving at this very toxic place. The only trust she has about this facility is that they will continue to abuse her if she remains. How do you give pizza to a patient with no teeth??? Thank God she is being removing from this facility immediately. She has a better chance of recovery receiving care at home than this establishment. I'm going to try to talk to someone in authority on Monday... will be shocked if I can reach them... but also will be reporting them to whatever MD state authorities that can take action.

We had a horrendous experience. My brother, an adult with a disability who lives in a group home, was there. I live in NJ had to communicate by phone. However, communication with all staffing was terrible. We would call the facility and the phone would ring for 10 - 12 times and no one would pick up. Trying to get in touch with the Director, Janelle, was impossible. She would come in late and then leave early, never returning any of my phone calls. We had to plead for my brother to get a shower. He was there over a week before he got his first shower. Even one of the nurses said he smelled. This is considered abuse and neglect!!! Dealing with staff was impossible and everyone seemed to have an attitude - even threatening remarks were made. Mark, the weekend person in charge, was extremely nasty. I would never send my brother back.!!! I needed to give Collingswood at least one star to be able to post this. In my opinion, this facility should be SHUT DOWN!!!

DO NOT SEND SOMEONE YOU LOVE TO THIS PLACE. My husband was a patient there for four days before he was sent back to the hospital. The weekend staff not only treats their patients horribly but the neglect that goes on is disgusting. My husband called me on a Sunday saying that he was trying to get a nurse to help turn him for over two hours and no one was answering his calls. I drove an hour to the place and it took me literally two hours to find a nurse to help. The doctor on call had to show up because there was no one there caring for him and probably other patients as well. He can't walk and was left in his bed for hours w/o water and proper care. In addition they gave him pain medicine that was not prescribed to him which made him incredibly loopy. When I asked for the orders from a doc on who prescribed it they had nothing. This place should be shut down and the people working there should be forced to receive the same treatment they give their patients. I am appalled that this place is even allowed to stay in business.

Felt as if the business office was disconnected from the staff and what was actually going on. Staff is short and overworked. Had a roommate that would be on a soiled diaper for hours because the GNAs had so many rooms to cover. Arguments were frequently heard amongst staff about duties . Business office absent until it was time to ask for money. Then he was very cold. Kudos to the PT/OT staff. They did what they could given the extremely slow nature of many on the medical side. My goal was to go home. I went unprepared. I had exhausted my Medicare days. I spent weeks doing nothing through no fault of my own. Outside appointments were mismanaged. Prescriptions were delayed because they weren’t submitted in a timely manner. I lasted 3 days back home before I had to go back to the hospital and then to another rehab where I currently am. There was always a scramble to find staff to cover. I do want to give kudos to Shawn and the Activities team. They do their best to work on low patient morale. Nurses Miss Erica, who I often had for the day shift along with Mr Michael on overnights were stellar. Mr Michael the overnight GNA is a standup gentleman. The dialysis unit is on point. The management needs to equip a properly staffed facility for success instead of providing understaffed mediocrity. DO BETTER! Y’all are raking in Medicare money.

Absolutely horrible! Don't be fooled by the lobby and the massive amount of air freshners! They do not care about the clients/patients! My friend was left for hours on her first night without her pain meds. The person I spoke to about it was more interested in inventoring her belongings! The next day, when she was vomiting uncontrollably and having difficulty breathing, no one would touch her without gloves and didn't know where to find them! Code blue is a joke! They brought 2 vital signs measuring devices, no crash cart. And, if I hadn't insisted that she be changed and the bed cleaned after it was all over, I had the feeling they would have left her in a wet gown and bed all night! The next night, she was physically abused and verbally assaulted by the person sent to clean and change her. She had to call 911 and be removed by protective services in the end! The care, or lack there of, at Collingswood was appalling! Not to mention the room was so small that there is barely space for one visitor to sit! Forget about if you have 2 or more visitors!

You can see all the fake reviews on this center but people are smart enough to know the 1 review accounts are fake covering up years of abuse. Rebecca Calandra has the worst reputation, she will leave patients in beds with sores and dirty cloths. When addressing her she is gaslighting and manipulative- a true psychopath can only imagine her children. I agree with the bipolar posts on her and the other nurses. Their lives are so miserable they find joy in torturing and belittling patients that need help. Bothe my father and mother were quickly transferred and other medical communities know about the nurses here. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

I wish I could give this a negative rating. My father has been left alone for hours and didn’t receive his medication. He called me and I called the facility but it took several times before someone answered. It’s Sunday and after visiting hours so I couldn’t have gotten in to check on him. The nurse finally came with his meds and was very rude. What if he had fallen? He’s at the end of the hallway. This place is terrible and we feel so helpless. Don’t send your loved one here!

Never send anyone to a place like this. Especially this one. She needed to be transferred to the hospital and they took their time, seem like the just wanted her to die there and not save her. Please be careful with these places. This one in particular. She was neglected. When you pushed the nurses button for help no one came in, we had to look up and down the halls or go get someone’s attention. They are all short staffed we took her here because is was rated pretty good for our area. NOT!!

This place should not call itself a rehabilitation center. The lack of care put my family member in danger and in the hospital. Staff was the worst and doctor unresponsive and uncommunicative with the family. They didn't provide basic care, therapies were minimal and the food was not edible. Do not put your loved one here.

PLEASE DON’T SEND YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS HERE! This place needs to be shut down. Father was in there 4 days before we pulled him out due to the treatment he was receiving by the nursing staff. There were several times they did not feed him breakfast but lied and said they did. How do you not feed your patients???? Absolutely ridiculous! He was also told to wait his turn for assistance with using the restroom after waiting over a hour for help.

I would like to give thanks an kudos to Shawn T.of the recreation staff at Collingswood! On a couple of occasions, he has assisted with setting up my Dad’s entertainment system and even went above and beyond to learn how to install a product he was unfamiliar with in order to provide satisfactory help and complete the setup. Shawn is always pleasurable and professional. Being in a rehabilitation facility can be tough and sometimes boredom and negative mindset can slow progress in a patient. Having items that can assist with positive experiences can booster the patient’s mental will to recoup. Thanks to Shawn and staff for being willing to provide for a needed service and doing so with great attitudes and professionalism!

I cannot thank the workers enough. My sister in love is there for rehab. The place is clean and well kept even with construction in progress. Janet on 1 West is a God sent. She takes great care of sister. The CNA Melanie and Marion are amazing. Miss J has it going on. She commands respect. I know when she is around. She is so sweet and knowledgeable. I know I can call her anytime and she will guide me. This is our first time in a rehab center and everyone here has made our anxiety a little easier. If there is any type of recognition, I will nominate all of you mentioned.

I’ve been in this facility for years now and the activities offered have made my days brighter. Everyday I look forward to playing my favorite games Bingo and Mahjong. Two of the many activities offered here. The Physical therapy team is kind, generous and helpful. Each time I go I come out feeling stronger and healthier. I could not more be more appreciative and thankful for them. Dominique and Shawn are consistently attentive and are always checking up on me. Though these actions can be considered small, they mean the world to me.

This facility is unsafe. They did not respond to calls for help. wit would be over 3 hours before they came in and then left without helping. They would bring meals in and leave out of reach and not help open containers . The staff was sitting at nursing station and ignored the lights. They even laughed about it.

My dad came to Collingswood rehab after he had a cardiac procedure done. I couldn’t have been happier with the choice! The liaison Kerri spent time with my dad and I explaining what we could expect from a rehab stay since this was his first time in a facility. The administrator Jenelle always made time for me when I had a question about my dad’s care or anything regarding the facility. The nurses and care team were so attentive and kind, I never had to worry about my dad. When we brought my dad back to see his surgeon after 3 weeks post operation, he couldn’t believe that my dad was able to walk into his office by himself. He was so impressed by what a great job the team at Collingswood did in getting my dad back on his feet….literally! I can’t say thank you enough to the entire Collingswood team for taking care of my dad and helping with his recovery!!

Collingswood Rehab is an amazing place!! My brother works there and he is 110% happy not only with facility but with staff as well. Collingswood show's and delivers the highest standards of care with dignity and respect in my opinion. I encourage families to choose Collingswood to be the place for your love ones to get the services and care that they need.

Parent being left several hours at a time without being changed, left in his own feces. Just sat and heard my mother call and complain to the so-called Head nurse on duty who claimed her name to be Peggy… who lied and said she had just came in the room to give my father medicine although my mother had been there from 7pm to 10:20 PM in his room! Nobody changed him or gave him any medicine. Even called my father to double check and see if somebody just happen to come right after she left and the answer was no! Find somewhere else to send your loved ones because they are not being well taken care of here, and nobody seems to care.

The therapy staff really do a great job of helping people get back to their prior level of functioning. They work well together and really push people to do as much as they can for themselves. I am very proud to be a part of the team!

Amazing staff, enjoyed bingo with activities. I've been through many hospitals and I've never been treated this well. All staff, even housekeepers had great hospitality and I've had many great conversations. I appreciate this center for keeping me alive and in great spirits.

First I want to say that these reviews that are being posted are false pretensive statements from liars ! These people have abused their authority as they placed all of my mothers things after 18 months of being at tis facility after she took a fall in 2021. She was to be rehabilitated but the OT /PT team was not on point with their scheduling of times they were to OT&PT my mom, so my mom was not getting better but worst! They would strengthen one area of her body while another area would decline and I would have to take her back to her MD at VA hospital to get a prescription for ever part of her body that needed to be strengthened, this place was and is about $$$$$$ ! While my mom was there she fell 4 times and twice she was admitted back into the hospital do to these falls. there was no PHONE in her room and NO CALL Bells !!! THEY USED HAND BELLS AND I WOULD BE THERE LISTENING THOSE BELLS RING AND RING WITHOUT A RESPONSE, SO I WOULD HAVE TO GO AN SEE IF THE RESIDENT WAS OK .
