Possibly the worst meal and service my wife and I had in Rhodes. Wait to be seated for about 20 minutes, when finally seated, menus where on the table but no waiter approached us to talk. Went through the menu, choose the dish we like and waited another 10 minutes for someone to approach us, just to be told half of the menu wasn't available anymore, including their own main dish, the one that made us stop at the restaurant. Asked for veal steak, we were told the piece should be around 400g, Greek salad and eggplant salad and their "per litre" 500ml dry red wine. Oh boy, where do I start. The wine hit the table first, I like wine and thought he was joking, there were no wine glass and the wine was vinegar, rose like, horrible to say the very least. The eggplant salad looked like children food, uninviting and tasted horrible. The Greek salad, we thought wasn't bad, but wasn't the best we ever had either. Now, the worst disappointment was the steak, come to the table and it wasn't much bigger than a 200g steak, white inside and tasteless. The french fries with it, where ordinary and grease. Also, if you don't speak Greek, they barely speak English, so communication there is terribly, and they don't make an effort. The place is very disorganised and chaotic. When ordering, we asked for kontosouvli chicken to be told was gone, but one single skewer made to the table, called the waiter who told us that it was gone, thinking it was a complementary one, just to be taken away as a mistaken by who brought the meal to the table. Don't be fooled by their high score like we were. Overall the worst experience we had in Rhodes dinner wise. Ah, price for this was €37.30, the most expensive as well.

Tourist trap Seems welcoming, elegant and authentic at first. When we were seated the waiter simply left without giving us a summary of the menu, what’s popular and so on and so forth. He then came back way too early without us having a chance to know anything about the choices. The burger was big and had a lot of condiments, but more isn’t necessarily better on a burger. Meat with halloumi, bacon, cheese, onion rings and mustard simply doesn’t make a good combination. The fries were pretty good however. The pork fillet was dry and missed sauce. It was only served with fries. Not even a slice of tomato or a lettuce mix. We ordered two glasses of red wine that was very cold as well. I love a cold beer, but a red wine shouldn’t be served at 5°C. The flavors disappears and the wine tastes nothing. The whole dinner was rushed and we were asked multiple times if “we were done” when we quite clearly still were eating. They were however quick to deliver the first drinks.

Was pleasantly surprised - trying to think how best to describe the restaurant, a little rustic? Don't let that put you off though, staff were very good and food was excellent. We had Kontosouvli Pork and Kontosouvli Chicken. Be warned, the portions are enormous. You'll say you won't eat it. Then you'll taste it. 20 mins later you'll be staring at the remains thinking about the what you've just tasted. Don't think about it, order the Kontosouvli..... oh, and the free pudding at the end is delicious too.

Went there for a late dinner and discovered that portions are huge!! Great value for money and delicious meat. We could have easily ordered one dish for two people, all the mains are coming with chips or salad, we opted out for the salad option and the grilled veggies ( please be aware that you have to pay and extra 3.90 euro for this option).

The food is good here but for me personally it was way too greasy. The fries were drenched in oil and all I could taste was oil. Apart from that the service is good and I like how they offered a complimentary cake at the end of the meal.

New Premises !!Hopefully they stick to quality and not all slap dash get the money and run !! .... Had to give it a try ... found it again by luck , cute place think they will do well on this street . Went there on a Friday night 8pm , seemed a little hectic . The kitchen had same lay out as previous , however they made the chefs table smaller , which is a shame as i like to look at the chef prepare the food on the grill . Ordered aubergine dip with pitta was good , nothing amazing but for -3.80 euro its pretty good served with an ice cream scoop full of warm pitta . Ordered Calf’s liver , two previous occasions they did not have it on the menu . 2 slices cooked medium well ... i asked for a salad instead of the fries . Liver was ok , had some sinu or nerve was a bit tough ... Never the less 10.5O it’s pretty good served with a salad . Still water there own brand ... Only disappointment was service .. not slow food was quick , think there under staffed had to wait 15 minutes for the bill ... 😬😬 Will be going back ... i think owner must be delighted with the business being busy ... great concept large portions good price ....

H The steak was like a shoe. My 2 friends took the white wine by glass, they didn't drink it at all because it was so bad and when we asked for a refund they said they already printed the bill so they can't. I will not come back that's for sure..

We had a nice dinner but didn't touch the wine, which we didn't like. When we asked to cancel it in the check, they said they can't because they already printed it and there's a tax issue. It's a shame. We had a great dinner if meat, and came out upset and disappointed.

Best place in Rhodes. We visited multiple times during our 1 week stay on the island. The meat, salads, dessert… the whole menu was so amazing, that we had to come back time after time to try as much as we could. The staff is super friendly and the place is extremely welcoming! We’ll be back!

Absolutely amazing food! Best restaurant in Rhodos without a doubt. The meat tastes fantastic and the fries as well. The staff could be a bit more enthusiastic but quality of the food is so good that anything below a 5 star review wouldn’t be righteous, besides it’s actually a welcome change to not be semi kidnapped in to the restaurant compared to all the others.

Environment is ok. It is really nearby the center. Service was all good and there was nothing wrong. And it was really nice to be served a dessert from the house for free. I assume all grills are good. We have tried kebap plate and lamb ribs and both were si delicious.

Best variety of food, every meal I've tried was amazing, all of them very representative of greece with some very original and authentic options from Stavlos that are a must.

We ordered pork neck and the tomato salad with feta and pita and I would always come back to order it again. It was very nice and the meet was very soft.

We went for dinner and ordered Chicken Ribs and Veal Steak. The Chicken Ribs is a dish for two and the portion is really huge; Preis 15€ or so (August 2022). They have veal steak and Stavlos (veal) steak, the latter, 3€ more and which we ordered. We got a veal T-Bone steak and as expected it has a very weak taste. So, always order beef steak, it's from older cattle and therefore it has more intense taste. Unfortunately, the don't offer beef steak, so please don't order veal steak, it doesn't make sense, but I recommend the Chicken Ribs. See my uploaded fotos of my two ordered dishes.

Really good place to eat in the heart of Rhodes! Portions were big, while maintaining good quality! I recommend this place to eat especially fulfilling all your need when hungry! Edit: came here again and it was still all really good. This time we tried stavlos for 2 dessert and it was amazing - in matter of minutes you can manage to try all those different kinds of desserts and the portion was more than big! Strongly recommend taking it!

Great place with excellent service, delicious dishes and very reasonable prices. There is a great selection of all kinds of meat. Everything is bbq on real charcoal. I was very impressed by the way all the waiters are taking your order! They guide you not to order more than you can actually eat, as most of the dishes are basically HUGE. Of course there's a great selection of salad and sauce that you can enjoy with your main dishes. Highly recommended 👌

The pork om stick was tasty, but some bites were a little dry. The blue cheese sallad was very good. 👌🏼 The beetroot sallad was nothing special, pretty boring - dont recommended. The kebab and chicken on stick was the best meat we ate on Rhodos, I can really recommend. 🙏🏼 The music is pretty annoying, I'm guessing its traditional greek music, but sounds like screaming arabic music...

The place is exceptional and food is stunning. A must visit while in Rhodes. You can have beautifully served and tasty local food there and the vibe is very local yet modern at the same time. I highly recommend desserts as well ❤️ People working there take great care of you, and seem so nice and relaxed 🥰

The food was great but it was hard to catch a server's attention to order, though I do understand it's because it's always quite busy. Good to come here for delicious barbecue, fresh salad and yummy halloumi

The food here is great! And soo much of it as well. It was very windy so we sat inside which was a little quiet and got busier as we were leaving (about 9.30pm) so maybe we were just eating earlier hence the lower atmosphere score. Service was great and you get a free dessert! Would 100% recommend and go back, great value for money.

This is the place where me and my family having dinner since 7 years,the taste is perfect and salads are very fresh and delicious.Highly recommend if you are going to Rhodes must visit Stavlos

Had two fantastic meals here. Honestly the best kebabs and skewers I've had. Prices and portions are both excellent, but the quality is also great. Make sure you come here if you come to Rhodes.

Great grill house , professional staff , great food quality and consistency, i have been eating here 4 times and never disappointed. Highly recommend for grilled meat.

High prices and the quality of the meat is mediocre. Plates are consisted by meat, fried potatoes and a splash of ketchup and mustard. Meats were not tasteful, beef patty was dry and smelly . Not even lemon, and it’s supposed to be a Greek tavern. Staff looks bored and impatient. Salad was nice. Overall very poor dishes for a high price. Paying 9 euros for grilled veggies is a joke. Would not recommend if you want to eat properly. I don’t mind paying more for a good meal, but this was not worth it even though it’s popular among the locals. Other choices nearby are way better. Do not look at menu prices images on the web they are at least 1 year old. All prices have changed around +40%

This place is full of Greek locals which tells you everything you need to know. They serve huge pork steaks/kebabs/chicken with mountains of fries and delicious fresh salads. Great taste andvalue. On a Sunday you see Greek locals here with their families. Don't miss out.

Recommended to me by a local. Excellent chicken pita! Super juicy and tender with good tomatoes in a crispy yet soft pita. Will be back.

Meet the spareribs plate! It's actually for two persons but it looks like it's for 3 people! I dare you to finish this one on your own! It was a tip from a local. Nice tip.

Amazing steak and ribs the prices are cheap! 750g for beef steak with fries costs 23.8€ ! Lamb ribs for 13.5€!! I really recommend it
