This is just unbelievable! For a home homebrewer, it is more than a pleasure visit this museum and been in the Hallertau region. The museum is awasome and the staff is incredibly friendly and kind. Hop is life!

Must see for beer brewers

If you a bier fan, this is perfect for you. The English audio guide was helpful; however about 10% of the exhibits had no English audio. The admission price was minimal.

Very interesting and the tasting at the end was nice. Tours offered in English, but no signage in English. I used Google Lens to translate things and did okay. Would recommend if you are in the area to learn about the history.

Der Besuch hat endlich eine offenkundige Wissenslücke gefüllt. Hochinteressante Tafeln und Vergleiche zwischen einst und jetzt sind informativ, tolle Filmdokumente von früher veranschaulichen die schwere Arbeit, nur leider sind die Bildschirme zu klein und spiegeln wegen des unangenehmen Sichtwinkels sehr, die Kopfhörer funktionieren kaum bis gar nicht.

Sehr interessant! Gerade für schlechtes Wetter ein sehr lohnendes Ziel. Bietet viele Möglichkeiten auch mit Videos das Thema zu vertiefen. Alles sehr übersichtlich und gepflegt. Auch für Kinder geeignet.

Mixed feelings, I really like the idea, but why is it not a bit more interactive, it would be so easy to make this museum fantastic. 10€ entrance fee is a bit of a bad joke.

Awesome museum for the history of the hop. The lady at the deal was very nice and helpful.

Nice static displays about hop agriculture and the importance to beer making and the German economy, but for some reason they leave out the most obvious things that you would expect at a place like this: You can't buy hops (harvested or plant form) there is no beer tasting (although you can buy bottles), there is no mention of the growing culinary interest in hops, and only a brief mention of the craft brewing industry. Overall, a big let down.

Very informative and interestingly designed

Being an english speaker it was slightly challenging with all the plaques in german, that being said its a german museum as well. Audioguides were easy to follow along with and I was able to learn a lot about the plants and the processes. Definitely would recommend to anyone who enjoys beer!

Very interesting, provides very well-founded information about hops and everything that goes with them. You can experience a great journey into the past, very vividly presented, with current and regional references, truly a tip and a recommendation!

Nice modern museum. We were in the museum for about 2 hours, it was very informative and worth a visit. Staff very friendly. Only of limited interest for children.

For such a tiny museum the price seems a bit ridiculous, as there aren’t many interesting things to see. And everything is in German.

Interesting museum, but very small. Would be better to have less pictures and more real exhibits. Also would be nice to have more interactive.

Small but very interesting

Ein Museum das seinen Namen alle Ehre macht. Die Ausstellungsstücke überzeugen und sehr gut integriert.

Sehr informativ, nicht zu überladen...ein kleines und feines Museum...

Das Museum ist nicht nur architektonisch ein unglaublich schönes Gebäude, sondern auch ein sehr interessantes Museum. Die Idee das Museum via Hörspiel zu begleiten fand ich eine schöne Idee und eine nette Abwechslung zu der "normalen" Audio Museumsstimme. Außerdem die kurzen Musikeinlagen wsren gerade für jemanden aus dem Norden sehr erheiternd. Der Besuch im Hopfen Museum ist auf jeden Fall ein Ausflug wert wenn man in der Gegend ist. Auch Preis/Leistungs technisch war es voll in Ordnung. Einziges Marckel war vielleicht aber auch der Zeit geschuldet, aber Personal etwas knierschich drauf aber auch nur ein wenig.
