One of the most beautiful things opened in Rome in recent years. A view that deserves it. A solution that kills two birds with one stone: allowing the numerous tourists to pass between San Pietro Station and the Vatican city without risks and without clogging the pavements of the streets below. What is missing are signs both in the station and at the entrance to Via della Stazione Vaticana.

The walk is really short, not crowded at all and offers a particular view of San Pietro. In this period (May) it was particularly beautiful due to the presence of jasmine in bloom 🥰 but perhaps a little too much hype was created

Uno dei tratti di ferrovia più brevi di Roma dalla stazione San Pietro fino al Vaticano ormai in disuso...ma ancora esistente. Suggestiva passeggiata accessibile direttamente dal binario 1 della stazione San Pietro come per prendere il treno... continuando a camminare sulla banchina si arriva fino alle mura vaticane chiuse sul binario da un grande portone.

A rather particular place, but still exceptional and panoramic. Go along the S. station. Pietro and you walk along an avenue of jasmine where you can caress the dome. It's a must try and a pleasant experience.

Wow! La vista che si apprezza sul Cupolone è davvero incantevole....Ci si arriva percorrendo la banchina del binario 1 della stazione di S.Pietro. Passeggiata tenuta bene, pulita con diverse panchine affacciate sulla cupola di San Pietro. Verso la fine è presente un piccolo parchetto con alti pini, una scalinata che congiunge via Gregorio VII. È possibile vedere il binario che entra nel Vaticano, chiuso da una enorme porta a mezzaluna in metallo.

The walk develops along the old Vatican railway. It offers an incomparable view of the dome of St. Peter.

Mainly unknown Passage along an unused train track between St. Peidro Station and Vatican. Very nice few to the St. Peter´s Basilica.

A beautiful walk

Very nice atmosphere not much to see except the dome of the Vatican. But a nice area to walk frome time to time, also has benches along the hole bridge.

From this walk you can have a simply superb glimpse of Michelangelo's dome of St. Peter's. You can also see the access door inside the Vatican, of the Pope's train
