During my recent stay in Rome, I had the opportunity to see the majestic Belvedere del Tarpeo. This place gave me an exceptional view of the Eternal City, offering a unique perspective of its historical treasures. From the top of this suggestive panoramic platform, I was able to admire the beauties of Rome in a new and fascinating light. The panorama extends over the ancient Roman Forum, the Colosseum and other iconic monuments of the city.

Awesome place to see the forum. It's a free spot you can walk to. If you arrive early you'll be welcomed by the rising sun and an excellent view of Roman history. It's really the essential place to view one of the most classic views in Italy.

The Belvedere on Via Monte Tarpeo, is located in the historic center of Rome, in Rione Along a curved balustrade, in the upper part of the street (towards the Campidoglio), in a sort of corner, before the Via del Campidoglio begins, looking out you can admire a breathtaking view of the most beautiful and history-rich archaeological site of ancient times. Rome: THE ROMAN FORUM. By paying attention we can admire the adjacent Portico degli Dei Consenti and the other nearby monuments such as the Temple of Vespasian and Titus, the Temple of Saturn, the Triumphal Arch of Septimius Severus (203 AD) and many others with a view that extends up at the Colosseum A splendid view, to be "savoured" with a guide to discover which monuments we are observing. I recommend visiting it at sunset for the various polychromies that are projected onto the archaeological site, which accentuate its beauty.

A lovely walk up or down depending on your entrance. Excellent views when you reach the top from multiple locations. Well worth a walk down if you’re in the area & it’s romantic which is a nice bonus! Spoil your eyes with the stunning traditional roots of Rome, depending on where you go from here you can see some tucked away parts of the true old school city it used to be. If you’re here consider yourself lucky. Life is beautiful.
