INJURY
AT
SALARIA
SPORT
VILLAGE.
I
would
like
to
tell
you
something
that
happened
to
me
on
September
16,
2023.
I
would
like
to
point
out
that
in
that
period
I
had
reached
a
good
level
of
training
(I
ran
for
up
to
1
hour
and
was
able
to
do
spinning
with
good
resistance).
That
Saturday
morning
I
go
back
to
the
gym
after
the
summer
break
(I
hadn't
trained
since
the
end
of
June)
to
do
my
first
spinning
class.
I
had
already
started
the
lesson
with
quite
a
bit
of
resistance,
since
I
was
trained.
The
instructor
Francesco
arrives
and
raises
my
bike
seat
a
lot
(from
9,
as
I
used
to
set
it,
to
11...consider
that
I
am
1.60m
tall).
At
the
same
time
he
doesn't
remove
the
resistance.
I
point
out
to
him
that
the
pedaling
is
"in
vain"
(in
the
sense
that
despite
the
resistance,
the
leg
was
so
extended
that
he
was
unable
to
apply
force
to
the
pedaling).
However,
with
a
certain
certainty
he
invites
me
to
try
anyway.
I
pedal
for
a
few
minutes,
until
I
start
to
feel
pain
on
the
inside
of
my
knee
(especially
the
right
one).
At
that
point
I
immediately
stop
(of
my
own
free
will,
not
because
he
told
me
to),
lower
the
seat
back
to
9
and
continue
teaching
until
the
end.
At
the
time
I
didn't
realize
exactly
what
had
happened
and
I
didn't
realize
it
for
a
few
days,
until
the
pain,
discomfort
and
creaking
appeared.
After
2
weeks
I
see
no
improvement
and
I
go
back
to
the
gym
to
talk
to
the
manager.
I
explained
the
issue
to
him
but
he
didn't
seem
to
give
much
importance
to
what
I
said,
even
though
at
that
moment
he
reassured
me
by
saying
that
he
would
at
least
talk
to
the
instructor.
After
a
month
I
try
running
again,
but
I
am
forced
to
stop
immediately
because
I
feel
severe
pain
in
my
right
knee
which
swells
in
the
following
days.
At
that
point,
I
decide
to
have
an
MRI
and
an
orthopedic
visit.
The
MRI
shows
no
lesions,
but
only
effusion
in
both
knees.
The
orthopedist
prescribes
me
a
cycle
of
physiotherapy,
although
I
wait
a
bit
before
starting
to
do
it
to
see
how
things
evolve.
Almost
three
months
have
passed
since
the
injury
in
the
gym
and
I
notice
that
the
aches
and
pains
don't
go
away
completely.
At
that
point
I
began
physiotherapy,
which
was
necessary
because
in
addition
to
the
cartilage,
the
ligament
of
the
right
knee
had
also
become
inflamed,
perhaps
due
to
the
excessive
stretching
to
which
it
had
been
subjected.
In
all
of
this,
I
lost
several
months
of
health,
sport
and
physical
fitness.
Frankly,
I
consider
what
happened
quite
serious
and
I
believe
that
with
a
little
more
competence
it
would
not
have
happened.
Furthermore,
I
later
learned
that
the
person
in
charge
never
spoke
to
the
instructor
about
the
incident.
End
of
the
story.
