BELIEVE
all
of
the
bad
reviews.
I
booked
a
stay
here
because
I
wanted
to
treat
my
husband
to
a
last
minute
overnight
getaway.
This
was
the
only
hotel
available
within
30
minutes
of
the
NYS
fairgrounds
in
our
homebound
direction.
We
are
60
years
old
and
after
walking
around
at
the
fairgrounds
for
six
hours
we
decided
to
drive
to
the
"hotel",
check
in
and
relax
a
bit
by
the
pool
and
then
get
cleaned
up
and
go
to
the
casino,
out
to
dinner
and
then
back
to
the
"hotel".
When
we
pulled
into
the
parking
lot,
we
knew
we
were
in
big
trouble.
There
was
no
curb
appeal
unless
you
like
broken
blacktop
with
weeds
growing
out
of
the
cracks
and
vagrants
hanging
around
in
the
parking
lot.
I
told
my
husband
to
leave
the
bags
in
the
car
because
I
didn't
have
a
good
feeling
about
this.
I
was
right.
As
soon
as
we
walked
through
the
falling-apart
front
door,
the
smell
of
must
and
mold
nearly
knocked
us
over.
The
front
desk
area
was
dirty,
the
complimentary
coffee
maker
was
out
of
service,
the
welcome
mat
in
front
of
the
check-in
desk
was
covered
with
debris
the
floor
tiles
we
in
chunks
in
some
areas.
I
asked
the
girl
at
the
front
desk
to
see
the
room
before
we
check
in.
She
made
a
phone
call
and
then
handed
us
our
room
key.
It
was
like
walking
through
a
creepy,
rundown
maze
in
an
old
asylum
to
get
to
the
room.
We
finally
figured
out
how
to
get
to
the
room
but
we
had
to
walk
through
three
sets
of
broken
down
doors
to
get
there.
We
walked
past
the
pool
on
the
way
and
from
a
distance
it
appeared
to
be
somewhat
clean
but
there
were
several
trashy
guests
(maybe
tenants)
using
the
pool.
Foul
language
was
being
spewed
and
I
definitely
wouldn't
use
the
pool
with
them
there
or
even
after
they
left
after
seeing
the
class
of
people
that
they
were.
I'm
sure
the
kids
probably
peed
in
there.
When
we
walked
into
the
room,
the
moldy
smell
was
worse
than
in
the
lobby.
We
peeked
into
the
bathroom
and
found
some
of
the
very
things
that
others
were
reporting
in
their
reviews.
Such
as.....a
a
dirty
toilet
being
butted
up
to
the
side
of
the
sink,
the
dirty
floor,
the
cracked
floor
tiles,
stains
on
the
walls,
etc.
There
was
also
mold
in
the
grout
lines
of
the
tub/shower.
I
would
not
even
consider
showering
in
that
thing.
The
velvety
fabric
chair
in
the
room
had
particles
on
it
and
it
also
smelled.
I
was
even
ready
to
pull
up
a
corner
of
the
bed
sheets
to
check
for
bed
bug
stains
when
I
noticed
a
young
man
was
at
the
door
watching
us
and
he
started
asking
if
everything
was
acceptable.
I
told
him
that
it
wasn't
and
that
we
wouldn't
be
staying
here.
We
returned
to
the
lobby
and
told
the
girl
that
we
wouldn't
be
staying
and
she
told
me
that
we
couldn't
get
a
refund
because
it
was
past
the
24
hours
cancellation
period
and
she
offered
to
show
us
another
room.
I
declined.
I
had
called
the
previous
day
and
asked
the
man
that
answered
the
phone
about
the
bad
reviews
and
he
assured
me
that
the
reviews
were
fake.
He
said
that
a
lot
of
people
book
the
room
and
use
it
and
the
pool
for
a
couple
of
hours
and
then
complain
about
the
room
to
try
to
get
a
refund.
That
should
have
been
a
good
indication
about
the
bad
area
that
the
"hotel"
was
in
but
I
didn't
think
of
that
when
I
was
talking
to
him
and
it
was
the
only
place
available.
He
assured
me
that
the
rooms
were
clean
and
the
place
was
pleasant
to
stay
at
so
I
went
ahead
with
the
booking.
I
told
the
girl
this
but
it
still
took
over
an
hour
arguing
with
her
to
finally
get
a
refund
and
we
hadn't
even
checked
in.
Meanwhile,
my
husband
called
my
bank
and
was
on
the
phone
with
an
agent
almost
the
entire
time
that
I
was
arguing
with
her.
The
man
at
my
bank
was
preparing
a
charge
protest
while
we
were
waiting
for
this
girl
to
make
phone
calls
to
the
owner
of
the
property.
We
finally
ended
up
getting
a
cancellation
without
charge.
The
$135
charge
still
appears
in
my
online
checking
account
ledger
as
a
pending
transaction
but
it
should
reverse
come
tomorrow
(Monday).
If
not,
the
bank
agent
told
us
to
call
back
and
they
would
process
the
protest.
DO
NOT
BOOK
THIS
HOTEL.
It's
NOT
a
even
hotel.
It's
a
dirty,
$29/night
MOTEL.
