😠 Filthy place. Filthy practice. Threatening parents for attempting to remove newborn from despicable conditions SHOULD be unlawful. I would never put my family in a hotel that looks like this and they expect a woman to give birth with deplorable condition and hostile attitude from staff.. Who do you... People often mention care, staff, hospital, nurses,

Filthy place. Filthy practice. Threatening parents for attempting to remove newborn from despicable conditions SHOULD be unlawful. I would never put my family in a hotel that looks like this and they expect a woman to give birth with deplorable condition and hostile attitude from staff.. Who do you call for justice in this country? Folks, they don't care about you or your newborn child. Just look at where they put you to give birth. One health code violation after another blatantly blasted in your face. Rude disgusting "health professionals" that are there for the wrong reasons. We caught many of these disgusting acts from different individuals on recordings as well. Welcome to America πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

My post was some how taken down. See photo. How ever I would like to add a few things since at the time of posting we had only been there 8 hours. I was with my minor child so keep that in mind. We had been there for a total of 23 1/2 hours. Nobody would hardly tell me anything or did anything to help calm our nerves. My child spilled something on the floor and told the nurse but no one ever came to clean it up. There were very few staff that were nice or even decent. I called and talked to a representative about everything going on and then the nurse came in the room being rude and told me he didn't tell me the transfer time just said this evening because he didn't want us to think they would be there right then. (20 hours in and release papers already signed) Which he then tells me the estimated time of arrival. Then said I can't make them get here whenever. When you are at the hospital with a child they should be more caring. I mean it's more comforting to have them come in every so often and tell you they still haven't heard anything than just pretend like you are not there. I have emailed the hospital about all my concerns and never got anything back.

My 2 month old had 2 seizures. Upon arrival we were put in the waiting room for almost an hour, even though he was still pretty out of it, once we were taken to the back we were put in the hall behind a curtain. We didn’t see any nurses until right before we were transferred to another hospital. Meanwhile several nurses were sitting at the nurses station talking about their next meal, and how awful another patient was. Very unprofessional and had no interest in the wellbeing of my infant who had never had seizures before. Definitely will not be going back to the ER ever again.

My dad was rushed to the ER and admitted to Floyd on Christmas Eve. He’s been at the hospital for a week and they are by far the nicest staff we have ever experienced! We are from Atlanta where there are also good hospitals but the nurses and doctors are very attentive and are some of the most caring people I have encountered throughout his post-surgery experience.

Our experience as visiting family members was a very pleasant experience. As our experience started in the emergency room, we were very pleased with the staff, the manners and promptness of the nurses. They were very accommodating and considerate of us and the patient. The family was very clean also. As we moved out onto a floor, the same level of care and accommodation was seen there as well. Hats off to the nurses and staff of Floyd Medical and making our experience as comfortable as one could ask for.

We were transferred here for the wife to have an emergency surgery. Very clean facility. Staff throughout the hospital were nice. Nurses were prompt and friendly. For a sudden need the hospital was prepared for us and got us in and out timely, yet not rushed.

So many positives with staff and care. Each floor and each DR. office and their staff. All the support teams of even food service housekeeping are above friendly and helpful no matter how silly my questions sound to me. Clear answers to my health questions but always with a smile. If one source doesn't know, they'll ask until they get my answers. The business offices are just as professional and understanding. Thankful to have this option in my area. Very thankful.

Admitted one week ago following a cycling crash to trauma and neurosurgery. The entire patient care team from the ER,CT/X-ray to the Neuro floor were wonderfully friendly, engaging, and caring. The neurological severity of my injuries were quite severe and as a out of state retired medical professional I was quite concerned not knowing my patient care team or their qualifications. I am thankful God placed me at your hospital and in your care. I could not have received better care at more well known trauma centers. I was discharged 3 days later with a excellent follow up conservative treatment and care plan either there or in my home town. Thank you Floyd Medical Center Rome Georgia for your care and compassion.
