This was one of my favourite meals and restaurant during our visit in Rome. The restaurant is small but quaint, we had to wait 15 minutes but there was a bar opposite that we could sit down and then he called us over when the table was free. Like I mentioned the meal was amazing, I regret not taking any pictures but it looked so good and tasted so delicious that I dug into it straight away. If you are near the area I highly recommend you visit. Bare in mind though that because of its small size you probably won't be able to get 4+ groups in there. Compliments to the chef! Perfecto! Staff 5/5 Food 5/5

Amazing food! A true Italian restaurant with the best quality of food and wine. Service is amazing and the ambiance is very cozy and elegant. Five stars are not enough for this place. Highly recommended if you are in Rome. Make sure you have reservations otherwise you wont be able to be seated due to the size of the restaurant. Worth the experience!!!!

This was one of the best restaurants we ate at in our week in Rome. If you're in doubt, don't hesitate. Absolutely go. We went during the off-season, and had no wait for a table for 2. The food was exceptional in a city of exceptional food, and included the best lasagne I've ever had. It can be slightly difficult to find, but just follow the map, and ring the bell. You'll be glad you did.

The service was great and the staff were friendly. The food though... the food was delicious! I had the fettuccine with bolognese and it was the best I've had. The sauce tasted creamy and silky, while being meaty and hearty. The pasta was thick and cooked well. We had other dishes like the tortellini and ravioli with others in our party expressing the wonderful taste of the light tomato sauce and well cooked pasta. Take the time to eat here, I would recommend it.

Amazing and unique experience!! It’s a bit of an adventure to find the place and once you do, the door is closed!! Ring the bell and be welcomed in to a wonderful Italian culinary experience.

This is the perfect restaurant if you are by the Vatican or the Castel Sant'Angelo. Excellent food, one of the best in Rome. The place only opens for lunch and a few nights for dinner, so check before you go there because its maximum capacity is only 16 guests. Don't get disappointed when you get there and see that the door is closed; just ring the bell.

The best meals we had in Italy. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. The service was wonderful and we had such a great time! Go there before opening to get a table without waiting for a long time.

Small family place. Food is super amazing. The place is rather small, around 16 people inside and gets very busy during lunch time. The service was great and stuff super helpful. 1 starter 2 mains and small wine bottle for 48 euros. Amazing experience overall,

The best surprise in our short trip to Rome. We have been eating for 4 days in several places within Rome center and Vatican, but this little gem it was an astonishing surprise. The quality/price rate is unbeatable. Delicious food. Homemade cuisine. Very cozy and warm. Do not fall into scams that many restaurants nearby are doing. We had one appetiser to share (caprese mozzarella with tomatoes), then carbonara and beef strips with vinegar and grana, plus beers, limoncello and amaro, water for the price of 61€. *a special mention to the waiters that did everything possible and more to accomodate my demands on Carbonara pasta. Bravi! Highly recommended!

First thing before entering the restaurant is don’t be shy, ring the bell 🛎️ 😆. Lunch is great with lots of options to r try from. Chose the daily specials with octopus salad and its marvelous. The baked salmon is delicious too. A red wine selection was a bit limited on the 375ml selections; anyway the Chianti is ok

Damond in the rough… what a find. No kidding this amazing little bistro has a 4.8 rating. Everything is just spectacular, the service, the food, the prices and the vibe itself. We spent the afternoon here enjoying the food, the wines, the liquors and desserts. We ate everything so it’s hard to recommend something in particular. The beef carpaccio, is he burrata, the saltimbocca, the beef filets and the carbonara. The prices make no sense, this is not the usual tourist trap. I could go on and on, bottom line this place is amazing and a must go.

The food is amazing. The best Italian food I have tasted. Cozy cute intimate restaurants which hold approximately 6 tables or seats around 18. You wait outside an unassuming door with a. Buz button. The wait staff answers the door to let you know the wait time. We waited around 30 to 40 minutes outside to be seated. If you can, the wait is well worth it as the food is out of this world.

Ended up here by chance, I was close to St. Peter square and, hoping to manage to avoid tourist traps, I found this place on Google maps which had great reviews. I couldn't have imagined nor hoped we could find such an amazing place in a very touristic area! It was EXCELLENT. Their pasta was great, perfectly cooked al dente and super tasty. The menu had a good selection of traditional dishes from Rome as well as some variations on them, I personally tried the gricia with artichokes and I loved it. They also have salads which we didn't try but looked great. The prices are also incredible for the location, we ordered three bruschette as appetizer (they have interesting bruschette as well, we tried the one with courgette flowers and the one with Marchetto cheese), three pasta dishes, desserts, coffee and drinks and ended up paying around 80€, whole for the same prices in the next street we would have ended eating precooked mushy pasta in a fast food for double this price. This place really made our day, whenever I'll be back in that area I'd love to eat there again. Super recommended.

Lovely family owned place. The service was impeccable and the food just as amazing. We had the gnocchi, eggplant parm, and caprese. Also, it was only a 6 minute walk from the Vatican. This was super great considering we have just finished a 4 hour tour and we're starving. We are so going back!

Only plate of pasta I did not like in 10 days in Rome. The dish was bitter and the texture of the pasta wasn’t great either. It did not taste like homemade pasta and it did not look good either. The ravioli were not great either, they were greasy, lots of oil and ricotta and not very tasty. The restaurant is very close to the Vatican so it was only tourists inside and everything was a bit overpriced and we did not like the food. Only a few tables available and you need to ring the bell and wait for someone to come talk to you. I did not eat my plate of pasta, it was that bad and they did not ask if there was something wrong with my dish.

The pasta was amazing. Therefore I was disappointed with the service. No recognition even if I told the waitress it was a special occasion. I took starter, main dish, dessert and wine and also mentioned it was my birthday and the waiter just said "Happy Birthday". Not even a limoncello offered in the end of the meal. Also I was asking details about dessert and the waitress told me chocolate cheesecake was really good specially if I love nutella... I ordered it, it was good indeed but just a regular cheesecake, I could not even feel the nutella in it as they put lots of chocolat sauce (you can see on the pictures). Not the best experience in Rome for sure.

This establishment truly surprised me! The food, particularly the pizza, was absolutely fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly, which is quite rare to find these days. Despite its compact size and limited seating, the atmosphere is surprisingly charming. The attention to detail in the furnishings and decor enhances the overall aesthetic appeal. Highly recommend paying a visit if you find yourself in Vatican or Rome~

Delicious food and good service all at reaonsable prices. One of the best lasagnes I’ve ever had. The wait was quite significant as it is really tiny inside. It would be good if they could keep you more updated with how long you are likely to be waiting for (the door remains closed whilst you queue outside so you aren’t even sure if they know you are there!!)

We found it by chance and felt very lucky to have one of the 5 tables available at the time. The restaurant seats around 16 people maximum! We had 2 main courses, he had a mushroom

Probably the best pasta I‘ve had in Rome so far. Very nice location in a small but cosy restaurant. Great price point for both food and drinks. I would recommend calling to make a reservation.

Had a lovely dining experience in this restaurant which felt family run. The wait was quite long (nearly 2 hours) as the restaurant only fits about 20 guests - but it was really worth it. I had the pumpkin gnocchi which was on the specials and it was truly amazing.

A very small restaurant with only 6 tables. The door was locked when we tried it, but the waiter quickly opened it and offered us a table. I ordered a special with courgette and cured pork cheek on tortellini, and it was delicious. I would recommend. The food was a great price too.

Amazing food and service! The serving wasn’t very big, but we thought it was just right. We asked if we could share and they didn’t have any issues with that. The place is small, but if you have to wait to get a table, do it, definitely worth it!

We loved it! Such a lovely family restaurant, even though it's tiny,it fits about 19 guests (6 tables). The service was fantastic and super friendly. And the food- it was AMAZING! the restaurant opens at 12pm,we waited 10 minutes for it to open, but it was so worth it! Their bruschettas were great, we loved their coffee, and delicious dessert. Highly recommend!

Superb. Amazing food and exceeded expectations. Ordered from the specials menu - burata with anchovies and tonnarelli with zucchini and pork cheeks. Fantastic. The tiramisu was delightful. There are 9 tables. Get there by 7 and you amy get lucky or be prepared to wait till 9pm. They don't take reservations in advance. Very happy they had a table for me.

Absolutely amazing experience and food!! We stumbled here on out first night in Rome and it was my favorite restaurant we went to in the city. The pasta dishes were very fresh and flavorful and the desserts were incredibly. Definitely recommend the gnocchi and the tiramisu.

The food here is amazing! I had possibly the best pasta of my life. The waiter is very helpful, and his mother and father run the kitchen. Everything tastes homemade, with no shortcuts taken. Really reasonable prices and food so good I went twice during my trip. I’d recommend this place to anyone. This was my favorite meal in Rome.

Super cute restaurant, The food was amazing service was fantastic the decoration was on point and Great location nearby the Vatican City. They deserve a five star but having problems with the machine used to charge by car was broken also their Internet yes! they put signs by the door but they should tell people that it was down before ordering. The table next to us had problems because they did not have enough cash to pay. They just need to tell people before ordering even with a sign-up. Italian food.
