    It was unexpected very bad experience in this place. When we arrived the first 10 mins staff just ignored us and after taking orders which was only one tiramisu and 2 drinks we were waiting 30 mins, really literally 30 mins. I could understand if staff explain us we need to wait or they are busy at this time etc. At the same time they took payment before delivering order which is so weird. After very long time I asked where is my tiramisu and staff told me it’s preparing. Maybe I’m not an expert of tiramisu but I think more than 30 mins to prepare this cake is strange. We asked refund because all this ignorance and not explanation ruined our mood and we didn’t want to stay at this place anymore. Waiter guy literally dropped money on the table. No, he didn’t apologize or put it on the table he dropped it and said it is money and left. I hope these two guys who work in the place learn one day they are working in customer service. People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel (Maya Angelou) Hopefully you’ll get better experience in this place!

    This is what happens when you take too long to serve fresh water at 39°C and the food is not good (too salty + cooking problem). The waitress was nice but she was the only one who had to run around. I don't understand why the bartender didn't help her by bringing us our water. We were right in front of him and he wasn't doing anything!!! You don't deserve your 5 stars. It's overrated. Sorry but you need to improve your organization, food and decoration to bring style.

    I came on a Tuesday night around 12:45 am. I am not sure if I missed the best time to be here, but it seemed kind of dead and there were only groups of friends outside in the covered heated areas. It also took the waiter like 10 minutes to serve me (even though there weren’t many people inside). On top of that, my card didn’t work here, and I had to go to a nearby ATM (my card worked everywhere in Rome). The music was obnoxiously turned up, and … yeah, the Colosseum being nearby was the only thing I enjoyed. Wouldn’t rush back, except maybe on a weekend or during a pride event.

    Great vibes, lovely food, friendly staff. Lost a star on gay credibility with their lack of any alternative milks! Luckily the gay bar next door managed to have soy milk and honey and managed to make me a passable coffee. Anyway love all the gay bars down this street and right next to the colosseum.

    Very climatic restaurant with delicious food! We ordered pasta as we wanted to try spaghetti bolognese and spaghetti carbonara. Both of these options were in this spot, so we decided to stay here. The food was perfect and a beautiful view of the Colloseum made the stay very special! The theme is very distinct as it is about LGBT rights which is good overall but not intrusive. I would fully recommend this place for your lunch with the view!

    Tables are too dirty. Waiter came too late to clean the table and to bring the menu. It’s located nearby colosseum, but they don’t even speak 1 word of English. Portions were small. Pizza is the worst pizza I have eten in Rome. Pasta was standard, could be better. No cold drinks without alcohol. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

    Friendly staff and super helpful. :) As i was sleeping in the b and b above this place. And they gave me vouchers to get two free drinks. The drinks were pretty and tasty. Furthermore we had Coliseum views!!!!!! I would recommend !!

    Was here bright and early for breakfast- right as restaurant opened. Ordered crepes with Nutella and cappuccino. The crepe was clearly from (at least) the day prior. It was cold and tough. I couldn’t have more than one bite. I’ve never been served old crepes and I’m extremely disappointed. And kind of disgusted. Don’t waste your money here.

    On our last night in Rome, we stopped by for dinner around 2030. We stepped inside and saw several empty tables. A server told us those tables were “reserved” and literally pushed us out the door. It was a fairly chilly night, so we asked if they could turn on the heaters near the table where we were seated, but they never even acknowledged the request. There were two of us, but the waiter said we could only have one menu per table “that’s how we normally do it”. The food (pasta, salad, veal) ad drinks were fine and reasonably priced for the area. Every time we so much as set down a fork or spoon, the waiter was there asking to take the plate. Over the hour or so while we ate dinner, several people came and went and we saw some of them pay for drinks with cash. Our final bill was about 66 Euros, but when we gave the waiter 100 Euros, he said they didn’t have enough cash in the register to make change. As we left, I peeked inside - all the “reserved” tables were still unoccupied. All over Rome - except here - we found people to be friendly, welcoming, and unhurried. It is ironic, that the one place a gay couple should feel welcome was the place we felt the least welcome. We’ll be back in Rome; not sure if we’ll be back to this place.

    An amazing place for food drinks and shows. We had the privilege of going to bingo on mondays with Uranya, and boy, was that fun, we have never done drag bingo before but it was well worth it. The staff do an amazing job from start to finish. Definetly a strongly recommended place to visit when in rome and to top it off it is across the road from the Colosseum. A great drink to order is the Queer Iced Tea, But be warned it is strong and will sneak up on you. Also they have a Hotel above them called 1st floor which we stayed at

    This is a great LGBTQ spot just in front of the Colosseum. I've been here throughout the years and it's always been a welcoming place. Good location and great spot for cocktails and food They also have happy hour. The staff is welcoming and in particular Matteo, the dancer/ cashier/ waiter is fun and adds charm to the place. Customers are a good mix of local and international. I'll return soon.

    On a rainy night in Rome we stopped in for a drink. Our waiter was Brian, a super nice and friendly waiter who helped us get a Margherita pizza and a couple of drinks. My husband had the Queer Ice Tea and loved it! Thanks Brian for your great service!

    It was the worst experience my friend and I had in Rome. We thought we found a nice place with Colosseum view to have a breakfast. We asked the barista for an ice latte and he seemed pretty lost (what kind of professional barista doesn’t know how to make an ice latte?) we explained to him what it is and he seemed confident to make it. After waiting a long time the other waitress came to take our order and we told her that we already ordered our ice lattes to the other guy. She asked him and he completely denied and made a face which was pretty RUDE. We waited for a long time and the she brought us cold milk!!!! And when we complained that it’s not ice latte they both acted so RUDE, IMPOLITE and UNPROFESSIONAL, and shouted sth in Italian. We left the place quickly. They were so awful and very bad to the tourists. DO NOT GO TO THAT PLACE IF YOU HAVE SELF RESPECT!!!!

    On my trip to Rome I had seen this place and decided to go with a friend to see what it was like. Upon arrival, we were seated, and when we said that we only wanted coffee, the waiter yelled at us, saying that we could only get drinks if we also ordered food (any kind, really, he suggested some dessert). We opened the menu, but I immediately felt disheartened. Now, can even I understand the model of a bar/restaurant/pub to establish that it does not serve drinks only, but yelling at your customers was a bit too much. We got up and left. I will not tell anyone, to not go, as we have not tasted any of the food, or drinks. And this might be just one waiter on a bad day, but I would expect, of all places in Rome, for the one that is called "Coming Out" to be welcoming to all guests, even if they just want a cup of coffee. What was more infuriating were the clear instagram models at the other table taking selfies with their aperol spritz drinks: see, they ordered food, so they could take all the pictures with the rainbow flag in the back, even if it means nothing to them. I hope other people's experience is better, again, I will not tell you not to go, the menu did look delicious, but from the Italian hospitality that I experienced on my trip, none was found in this place.

    The place is one of the coolest places in Rome not only for LGBTQ+ people but for everybody, you can see families and people of all ages there. The view is amazing the food and the coffee is very good and the cocktails are amazing. It is a very cozy and happy place to be, the staff were so friendly with us and welcomed us warmly. The prices might a little expensive but they are okay for a european capital city especially Roma, the bar is very good for tourists and visitors in Rome. During our trip we went there everyday and we loved it!!!

    Worst ever… veggie burger had no bun and was boring polenta slop, not even a burger. We ordered bruschetta and they gave us pita bread. I think they treat travelers like fools who don’t deserve real good food and service? We came here to support a gay business, but we regret that decision. Those who give this place a good review are lying. Someone lied to her several times. She is unqualified to wear those shoes…

    Bonjourno from Roma, the Colosseum and Coming Out🏳️‍🌈for an outside brunch☕️ I came across Coming Out🏳️‍🌈and My Bar last night when walking back to my pad. The place is packed and has a full menu, so I wanted to come back for brunch. The options are limited, but the food quantity is large and tasteful. I didn’t get it, but the pancake option looks amazing! Being vegetarian, I got the Special without the sausage, and was pleasantly filled. Unfortunately, like the rest of the world, they are short staffed so patience is needed, but it’s worth it, and why be in a rush…your next to the Colosseumand in Roma! They also have some great Coming Out🏳️‍🌈merchandise, including the espresso cups for purchase.

    Pros and cons. My partner and I went to Coming Out for breakfast on a sunny Saturday morning in May. We sat outside. The location is fantastic and the food and drinks were very good. All this comes with a price - we spent for a breakfast more than what we had spent for a whole dinner the night before, in a different place. There were two waiters, one of which was friendly whereas the other (he seemed to be the manager) was peculiarly rude to us. When I went inside to pay the bill at the till, an American tourist was paying before me and left a generous tip, after which the manager (?) commented loudly with the other waiter, as if on purpose to be heard by me, that all customers should be like the American guy. I found it a bit inappropriate. Overall not a bad experience, but I wouldn’t go back.

    I was really looking forward to eating pasta while in Rome, but the menu description of the Hamburger Classico was captivating and I simply had to try it. I am so glad I did! Easily one of the best hamburgers I've ever had! The meat was perfectly cooked and tasted like a high quality cut. The egg was a fantastic touch, and, as someone who does not like tomatoes too much, the tomatoes as prepared for this burger were delicious! The fries included with the burger were also very tasty! My wife had a pasta dish that was amazing as well. Further, this restaurant is located just steps from the Colosseum, so the scenery was delightful. Highly recommend!

    Cute little gay bar with delicious food. We visited the last night before a refurbishment so they were running low on wine, but what they did have was great. We sat on their outside area but could enjoy the sounds of the drag show from inside. Would definitely recommend to any queer visitors to Rome.

    This place was amazing! Service was very friendly and responsive, food was absolutely delicious and amazing proportions, their coffee looks very fancy and it’s incredible quality. Their atmosphere is so open and friendly and very welcoming, everyone is kind and I went here with friends on a beautiful day. Stellar view of the Colosseum and close by some beautiful ruins and an intersection. Highly recommend, I really suggest getting their fries. Really good. Well worth the money, would absolutely go back.

    We arrived at Coming Out and the front door staff firstly said there was no place to sit (i checked later that he is waiter) after that , a second guy (that looks way more polite) came out and put us on a available table inside of the restaurant. There were more than 2 tables empty. The first guy that talked to us seemed soooo impolite and not even look at our face. He should be more careful with the people that pay his wage… Drink good, food OK, prices Ok.

    This place looked great, as a gay couple we were obviously attracted to how cool it looked. We went for lunch after a Colosseum tour and found the food to be horrible, I had the carbonara and my partner had a pizza, both meals were some of the worst we’ve had in Italy. The carbonara was so salty and smelt odd I only had a few mouthfuls. My partners pizza tasted like tin spaghetti, we didn't finish our meals, we paid €30 and left. There are cheaper better places to eat literally next door. Not sure what this place is like for drinks and clubbing, I think it would be good for that alone.

    At first it was really nice, I was with some friends. The waiter was funny and the mood was good. We got our drinks fairly quickly. But at one point, as we were finishing our first drinks and before we could ask for another one, they put the music on. It was so loud that I couldn't even hear my friend next to me. Some of them wanted to dance (because we couldn't do anything else) but the waiter told us "no dancing" We had to leave earlier than expected, it was a shame.

    Stoped by to get some drinks and it’s a great atmosphere all the servers are nice and attentive even when they busy, yes I might have to agree with the time that takes for the drinks or food to be served but I don’t blame the servers at all!! We came in busy time yet we got everything we order in a timely manner wait a bit but totally worth it highly recommended

    The three stars are for the waiter who is called Bryan he was really nice, good service with him and everything was quick he made sure that we get everything we need and ask if we were satisfied. Honestly the experience wasn't good when we first arrived the other waiter wasn't giving us any attention we ordered the drinks that was fine but when we tried to call him back for giving us the happy hour he never came while he was taking other orders that came after us, but bryan came and he was the one who gave us the happy hour meal and it was really fast, he was really talking to us in a very friendly way which we liked and if I was to go back there I would only be served by Bryan.

    Slow service (10 minutes just to get the menu on the table). Limited space.. Once sitted we could not exit without asking the neighbourhood to move (not sure it is Covid19 compliant). Pasta is mediocre - acceptable - but pizza really needs improvement (seems like the one of the supermarkets). Good thing is location

    Can you believe this was here since 2001?!?! The representation!!!! Ordered the happy hour and it was not only presented nicely, but it was such a nice selection that complemented the cocktails nicely. The music and ambience made it easy to loosen up and have a fun night. So glad to have come here! They offered their own special cocktail that you cannot get elsewhere.

    I do not recommend this place, after you arrive and if you have already had lunch, they deny you to have a coffee if you are not going to eat even when there are free tables on the terrace, the worst thing is that the waiter makes a joke of that. A pity, because the place is very beautiful, but the quality of service and attention is terrible. Sorry but it is my experience, very disappointed

    The coffee was good but the experience wasn't good. We had to drink our coffe sanding up while there were a lot of tables free. I think they could let us sit for 2 min... moreover the waiters weren't really kind. Won't come back.

    Cute place, good food and drinks, but mediocre service. It looks like the waiters are there to chit chat and catch up on the latest news with the clients they know, instead of properly doing their job. When they take the order, they are respectful tho.

    Nice gay bar near colloseum in the middle of romes "gay street". From 10pm very crowded on the street with many queer people. Drinks also for take away on the street.
