The rooms weren't clean, I have allergy to dust, and I couldn't even sleep, because everything was really dusty. The food was horrendous, and my family couldn't eat well because everything was in small portions. I cant even talk about the money they made us pay for imperfections they found when we left, enev tought we left the room in the best conditions.

It was a lovely stay. Comfortable, clean room and toilet. Friendly and cheerful staff. WiFi had excellent signal. If you need to store your luggage there are safe lockers available for 3€ for 6 hours! However, the breakfast buffet could be better. There are not many options to choose from. However the overall experience was great. Good job guys 👏

Great hotel with affordable prices and is in a great location. Visited here with my sisters we were able to get groceries around there and yet there was also great restaurants nearby. Especially some great pizza and pasta spots. The staff at the hotel was also very kind and helpful.

Rooms were absolutely huge, newly renovated and clean. Daytime staff was very kind and helpful. Some minor annoyances that could easily be fixed: -no fridge in the rooms, only a communal one downstairs which is pretty useless -no safe in the rooms, only a sign saying not to leave valuables in the room. Not sure I would recommand carrying all your valuables on you while in Rome.. -washing machine was very slow. Took over 2 hours to dry 5 t-shirts.

From the moment I stepped into Meininger Hotel in Rome, I was struck by the cleanliness of the premises. Every corner seemed to gleam, and I felt immediately at ease knowing I'd be staying in such a well-maintained space. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay. Their warm smiles and readiness to help made a world of difference. And, let's not forget about the breakfast! It was a delightful spread with a variety of choices to cater to different tastes. I found myself looking forward to the mornings just for this treat. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Rome and seeking a place that feels like a home away from home.

Amazing staff and amazing hotel/upper hostel. We were a family of 4 & had a room with a bunk bed & double bed. Each bed has its own charging port and light. There is ample space. Very clean. 2 lifts available. Communal kitchen & fridge available. Sticky labels provided to label your food. Laundry facilities available in the communal kitchen. It includes a front loader washing machine & dryer at a cost of €3.70 each. Laundry detergent is included, it gets dispensed automatically. Small ironing board & iron available upon request. There is a luggage storage room available. There is a luggage weighing machine available. Late check out available at 2pm for €15 if needed. Large breakfast/dining area with many food options & an allergy checklist. There is a game room to play pool/fuse ball at an additional cost. Reception area is lively with a bar -drinks/snacks/music. Each Meininger hotel has its own theme. This one was a movie set. There is a bus stop just outside. A metro around the corner. A supermarket & pharmacy just next door. Can’t fault anything. Would stay here again.

Excellent location. Walkable to Termini Station, grocery store (conad's is amazing). Good pizza nearby as well. Blgd felt safe and very secured. Great private room, except the bed. I was traveling alone and I'm a thicker/taller guy. The two twin beds weren't great. I tried to push them together to have a regular sized mattress but they kept sliding a part. Having a double bed would have been awesome. Super clean & spacious room. Great hot water and pressure. Opt for the "go-green"/no housekeeping and get a free beverage! Super friendly staff! Excellent Wifi!!

Below hotel standard. Beds are terrible. Paper thin walls and doors. The noise from other guests at night and cleaners in the morning is overwhelming. One morning we had no hot water. Services you would expect from a hotel is charged extra. Breakfast not worth the cost. You will easily find better a block or two away. At least the rooms were clean.

Very good hotel for its price and with a good location, however the breakfast is not free and is around seven euros. The beds are comfortable and the free wifi is good. The bathrooms are also quite large and come with body wash and handsoap. When we stayed the heating was turned on so it was very hot and we had to open the window to sleep comfortably. Also we had a large group of students staying on our floor and they decided to run a marathon at 1:30AM on our floor! Other than that I would recommend this hotel for your stay if you are looking for a cheap hotel near Roma Termini.

Excellent hotel. I loved the location, which is just perfect to let you visit the city. The hotel itself is a bit old but definitely worth it. Clean bathroom and clean room overall. The staff was adorable. Especially the two person from the Philippines. I recommend it definitely.

The rooms are very well maintained and clean. The hotel staff are good. The problem is with the lockers, the lockers doesn’t have the proper locking system. And on the last day we can’t leave the luggage with front desk team. Need to pay extra for storing luggage on the last day.

A great modern hostel with perfect amenities. The hostel features a nice kitchen, a playroom, and a large common area. Rooms were very clean and the bathrooms were of great quality. Location is perfect as there is a bus station right across the hostel with direct lines to Roma Termini, Rome city centre, and Vatican City. Highly recommended!

I've stayed in a few hostels around Europe and this was by far the best. Staff are so friendly and helpful and the rooms are spacious and clean. There are a lot of free amenities (shampoo, shower gel, towels, hairdryer) that you don't always get in hostels that were very much appreciated.

Stayed in a female dorm for five. Spacious room, daily housekeeping to keep the room clean. A lot of helpful amenities provided e.g. locker (comes with a small charge), printing service, guest kitchen etc. Staff are friendly. Walking distance to Termini metro station and a direct bus opposite to the hotel that connects you directly to the Trevi area. The establishment might not be at the centre centre of the city but upside is you can enjoy some peace and quiet after a bustling day. Recommend bringing a padlock to lock up valuable items inside your shared room using the drawers provided~

The room was very basic, but warm and quiet. We didn't have a safe box in the room and had to leave our valuables at the reception, where there wrote everything on a form (e.g. passports, how much money, etc) and put it in a box in the same room where people leave their suitcases. They attached the form on our locker - so anyone could see how much money we left in the safe box... VERY insecure. A big disadvantage for us was no kettle in the room, as well as no glasses and no mini fridge. So you can't buy any drinks, or won't have anything to poor water in. My friend was unwell and we had to go downstairs to ask for hot water. Keep in mind that only one lift was working and it was slower than using the stairs as it was very old. So it is very very basic hotel, be prepared to pay for everything extra, incl. leaving your suitcase, coffee, tea, or later check out.

We are a group of four adults and booked a quad room for one night before departing on a cruise. The room was incredibly spacious, clean and the air conditioning worked. The room was not ready upon arrival which was tough after 15 hours of travel but it seemed like a busy week. It was about a 8 minute taxi from Rome termini and about a 17 minute walk. Great option if you’re looking for just a basic place to sleep and shower.

This hotel is close to Termini but in a safe area. The staff are friendly. The room was modern and spacious. However, the shower could have been more cleaner. Also, the breakfast is always the same so they can include more variety. Additionally, the room is not cleaned on everyday basis, we had to ask them ourselves to at least empty the bin.

Good value. Close to train station and city bus routes. Family friendly, large family rooms with facilities including guest kitchen and luggage storage. Would stay again.

It was amazing, I actually enjoyed my stay, sharing a space with people from diverse backgrounds. The people present in the room where good people who minds their own business as well as very respectful. The room is great and very comfortable to stay in. Very clean and felt like home.

Second time I stayed here. We had a very warm welcome! The rooms were great! Very modern with an original movie themed look! Location is close to Termini station. If you want to go to the center it's a bit further but easily doable by bus or on foot. Would definitely recommend!

Very friendly staff! Alex was especially helpful in a change that we needed with the reservation. The breakfast was also good and the staff, especially Davide, were nice and warm! The location is not inside the historic centre, yet is easily accessible by a bus station and subway to everywhere we needed to go. Lots of local eateries are within walking distance as well.

Staffs are helpful and friendly. A big shout out to Marc and Monica for turning my uneventful day to a fantastic vacation in Rome. The room is sleek and minimally designed. However the bed and shower is a bit tiny (even though we're petite). Noises from the street and walkway.

We are used to the Meininger concept. We usually travel with our five. This time, it was not a really clean room, which was disappointing. And the room on the ground floor has no real windows. It was kind of dark. We parked the car on the street next to the hotel. In general, personnel was helpful. Location was good, you can reach historic places with metro. And you can find supermarkets in the area.

The meininger Roma termini was the perfect location to get to termini and metro station. The hotel was clean, well kept, great style with a movie theme. Staff were polite and helpful. The lobby had a billiard table and 24hr bar. We had a quadruple room, great space and bathroom. Room had a facilities needed bedlights and charging points. The room was quiet and location wise there are great restaurants nearby especially the family run trattoria in yellow square and gello gelateria.

Charming hotel in the Heart of Rome Nestled in the heart of Rome, MEININGER Roma Termini provided an exceptional four-night stay for my girlfriend and me. The hotel's pristine cleanliness and convenient location made our exploration of the city seamless, while the delightful breakfast spread added a delicious start to each day. Notably, the staff's warm hospitality and attentive service truly enhanced our experience.

I visited Rome two weeks ago for 2 days so chose this hotel for the night as it was near the main train station and wasn't too far away from centre.. Hotel was clean/tidy and reception check-in was all ok. Our room was spacious, clean but the single beds were awful - very hard/stiff, the mattress was flat and only one pillow which was soft. The shower was a problem in the morning as the hot water was on for 20 mins then went cold and the hot water did not come back on. Breakfast was a European selection and croissants were stale so we skipped this. Overall, ok for on night but no more than one night.

  • 1/5 Hugo M. 1 year ago on Google
the food lacks quality and quantity, the rooms were not well cleaned on the day of my arrival, in fact, one day they did not even clean it. others, me and my group were charged €70 for something we didn't do and they didn't even have proof that it was us. the windows should be partially closed according to various posters hanging in the rooms, said windows can be fully opened, that is, they were broken, the €70 was from one of those windows. In addition, the cards were demagnetized every day. basically they have taken advantage of the fact that we are a group of teenagers and the lack of effectiveness of the cleaning staff has been what has caused us to have to make the payment. As I write this, a colleague informed me that there was a piece of chewing gum on the floor of the room full of dust, which he had not noticed before.

I stayed at Meininger Rome hotel for a business meeting close by. I enjoyed the warm welcome from the employees and the cleanliness of the place. Easy to reach the center. Good sweets at the bar. I recommend.

Very clean, quiet and still close to the station. Modern and friendly, and also some space in the lobby to hang out if needed. The staff is both friendly and helpful, and speak excellent English. The breakfast (not included in the prize) was better than expected even for us Scandinavians :-) The room was large enough and well equipped with a large and very clean bathroom with shower. Maybe the bed was a little bit stiff for my taste. A good nights sleep at New year's eve, with a good breakfast to start the new year and our trip back home to Sweden!

Superb customer service! Got us in our room super quick. Hotel has a small bar area that's open late. Plenty of seating in the lobby. Entire hotel decor is cinema and from the movies from s filmer's perspective. Pretty cool. In our room, one side of the bed had a USB port and on the other, an HDMI slot, along with a regular outlet. Bathroom was nice, new, and clean. Room is a typical Eupean room, but this room is significantly larger than most Europen hotel rooms. Great location right next door to the German embassy. Right next door is a regular store with fresh fruit. There are several places to eat within a very short walking distance. The Metro is one block away, walking distance, too.

Really good location, close to the centre, Termini railway station and metro. Very nice faculties like guest kitchen is very useful if you want to have a lanch at home. Yuo can by water and snacks in the supermaket- ut is 1 min to go from the hotel. The hotel is great as good value for reasonable price. Would recomend for couples, families and young people.

Meininger Hotel is conveniently located at walkable distance from Termini station and Castro Metro station. There is a mini mart Pam Local located next to the hotel which makes it very convenient. We stayed with our kids in a quadruple room and found it very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The only bothersome thing was lack of slippers in the washroom. Breakfast was ok but was disappointed that eggs were not served except weekends. I interacted with 6 different staff members and found all if them to be very nice and helpful. Guest kitchen is a bonus for travelers looking fo prepare their own food. Since we checked put early at 0600 before the breakfast time, the awesome staff prepared 'on the go' breakfast bags for us. All in all a good place.

Super comfortable place to stay in Rome. You can check-in whatever time you want, super helpful team. Very clean and all covid safety rules are kept.

We enjoyed our stay in the hotel for 4 nights. The accommodation (family room) was spacious and allowed sufficient movement for 4 people in the room. The staff members were helpful and engaged with us on a number of questions regarding the property and city. However, we missed the following: (1) the shared kitchen was a small space and the induction stove was not functioning, our reason to book Meininger was to access the kitchen space and we were left disappointed. (2) the dryer machine did not completely dry the clothes. (3) we were not able to redeem our 5% discount for returning customers as we discovered the promotion after check-in.

Really nice hotel. We had a room for 4. There was plenty of space for all of us. The bathroom was pretty comfortable too. We decided to stay here cause it was close to termini station. Would stay there again in the future

The Hotel was Good and clean. The location was excellent as well, suited our itinerary. And the Staff was awesome, very friendly and kind. They helped with every information needed. Special Thanks to Monica who helped me book my PCR appointment. Highly recommend Hotel !

I have been in room 120 for 5 days in this hotel... Every day there was a new thing to complain about. To start the first day we found the room with a lot of dust under the bed. Also the restaurant food apart from being of low quality, there was very little quantity and they made us ration it among ourselves, eating 2 and a half gutters. The last day they charged us €70 for supposedly breaking a window when we didn't even touch it, it was broken on arrival the first day. In conclusion, these kinds of things are inexcusable for a hotel of this supposed quality.

  • 1/5 Bruno M. 1 year ago on Google
The rooms were nice, it's the service I can't stand. The food was insufficient, although we had a buffet offer. The cleaning service was not on point, and we had to pay for a broken window we didn't even use (after even talking to the manager). The cards used in order to open our rooms would constantly stop working. Overall, the experience was upsetting.

  • 5/5 Andy Y. 10 months ago on Google
This is not a 5-star hotel, but I strongly recommend it for several reasons. Location was great, the room was not very large bur was very nice and clean, and most importantly, the staff was outstanding, very respectful and welcoming. I would rather stay at a great place like this than a 5-star hotel which we experienced issues with before. I truly recommend this place.

  • 5/5 Valerie L. 1 year ago on Google
We really enjoyed our stay. Very convenient for transportation of bus and subway. There is a grocery store next door open until 10pm ehich was helpful for getting snacks and meals. The breakfast was a basic buffet but worth it on busy mornings. The laundry washings were great too. Very hot dryer.

  • 5/5 Andres M. 1 year ago on Google
Nice hotel, we liked a lot the movie style! Kind people offered us a great experience. We received recommendations for eating places, tours & also how to move in Rome! Room was pretty clean, quiet... a perfect place to get rest at night.

  • 4/5 Maritza L. 1 year ago on Google
Hotel is in a good location, near all the places we wanted to go and see. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful. I requested an early check in and room was ready when we arrived which was a big plus. The room was small for 4 adults but we stayed only 2 nights so no biggie. Room was very minimalist with only the essentials, no hair drier, iron etc. Breakfast was also good, buffet style.

  • 4/5 Rakis G. 1 year ago on Google
Nice, clean, modern, friendly and helpful people. Price was reasonable too. The location of the hotel is very convenient. Pharmacy , convenient store restaurants and buses and trains Roma Termini is close walking distance . The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because rooms have no small refrigerators. They do have one a kitchen laundry area for all people with a refrigerator were you can store things but was not very helpful since we visited August and it was really hot, so cold water in the room especially night time was not really easy accessible. Hopefully they will fix this. Other than that I will definitely consider it for my next visit in Rome.

  • 5/5 Julius H. 1 year ago on Google
We stayed with our two boys in a family room - it was perfect! More spacious than expected, clean, helpful staff. It was great to have laundry and lockers. Super practical to have the breakfast option - it's a big and yummy selection. MEININGER Roma's location is central - we walked everywhere enjoying Rome on the way - and it's super close to the train station. Totally to recommend!

  • 4/5 Sonia R. 1 year ago on Google
Good location, near subway station, supermarket on the next door and a pharmacy very close. Train station and bus stop very close. We were travelling with our kids, and having the public transport nearby was a plus. The hotel as a common kitchen, you can warm your meal or just keep some food on the fridge. You can also eat on the kitchen or directly on the hall of the hotel. Rooms are clean, basic but enough for some days. People on the reception are friendly and can give you some tips about restaurants, etc. Very good hotel to stay with kids

  • 3/5 Ivica P. 1 year ago on Google
The room we stayed in was good when it came to size and equipment but the cleaning was not on the highest level. We found some trash from previous guests in the bathroom and the floor was sticky next to the bed probably from a spilled drink. The restaurant was crowded with long queues so we couldn't have breakfast there. We didn't mind this too much because there were alternatives close by but just to let you know. We also had an accident with an elevator. My friend staying in another room got blocked in the left elevator and it was quite unpleasant for the kids who luckily were not inside with him but they were scared and didn't want to use the elevator for the rest of the stay. The elevator was unblocked after about 20 minutes. The staff was very polite at the check-in and during the whole stay. We like Meininger hotel concept a lot as it gives really good value and nice design in good locations for an attractive price. That's why we stayed with you before in Munich and Budapest. Rome stay was good but not excellent as the first two. Kind regards

We had a 3-night stay in Meininger Rome. The hotel is clean and in very good position (5min walk from railway station; 35 min walk from Pantheon). Staff friendly (except at the bar) and helpful, 24/24. The room was clean, very large, with basic equipment. About breakfast: poor ingredients and, first of all, the breakfast-room is really unhospital: the walls, the lights (no windows), the furniture. The bar: not so good the service; expensive the prices. I think Meininger could become much better with some "refresh" of the services (breakfast and bar). Excellent the lockers solution for luggage.

  • 5/5 MHR B. 3 years ago on Google
Very conveniently located, clean, modern-looking and affordable hostel by the famed Meininger group. Near the main train hub you'll ever need to access all of Italy and mainland Europe. You can cook your own food here, wash your clothes and have a drink at the bar. Nearby you'll find a supermarket and a fun bar.

  • 1/5 Marcela Rozo V. 10 months ago on Google
I didn't make it to the hotel because of a serious illness and they completely ignored my situation by saying they couldn't do anything, even though I cancelled in advance. I understand the position of the hotel if there is people not coming out of the blue, but under these circumstances I expected that at least that as many hotels they'd charge the first night and refund the rest. Because I'm sure they managed to book that room again, so it's relevant to say the hotel chain has no customer service neither values to care for their customers. In my case I had been in their hotels in other cities, but I won't take them ever again.
