The
Parco
dei
Principi
hotel
is
a
beautiful
hotel
located
on
the
outskirts
of
Rome,
a
good
45
minute
walk
into
the
centre
so
not
ideal
for
sightseeing
but
great
for
relaxing
around
the
pool.
I
stayed
for
1
week
in
September
2023
with
my
Fiance.
The
reason
for
the
2
star
review
is
the
fact
that
I
had
paid
a
premium
to
book
a
Dome
Room,
located
on
a
high
floor
at
the
rear
of
the
hotel,
next
to
the
park
(overlooking
The
St
Peters
Basillica
Dome)
in
Rome.
I
made
my
booking
with
LastMinute.com
and
had
all
my
paperwork
to
show
this.
Upon
arrival,
late
in
the
evening,
we
were
shown
to
a
room
on
the
second
floor
above
the
main
entrance
of
the
hotel.
This
was
not
the
room
I
had
imagined
and
obviously
did
not
have
a
view
of
Rome.
I
questioned
this
with
the
man
at
reception,
who
did
not
even
look
at
my
paperwork.
He
just
said
that
was
not
the
room
I
had
booked.
As
it
was
late
and
we
had
arranged
to
go
out
for
dinner
I
left
it
as
I
didn't
want
to
spoil
my
first
evening
in
Rome
arguing.
The
following
day
I
asked
again
and
also
a
further
3rd
day
to
be
told
each
time
that
it
was
not
possible.
I
have
taken
the
matter
up
with
LastMinute.com
who
were
hugely
apologetic
and
have
been
trying
to
contact
the
hotel
to
get
me
a
partial
refund.
However
they
are
still
waiting
to
hear
back
from
them
6
weeks
later.
The
room
we
were
given
was
fine,
very
nice
actually
and
it
did
not
affect
our
holiday
at
all,
but
I
had
paid
much
more
for
the
room
with
a
view,
to
give
the
luxury
holiday
vibe
and
feel
that
I
have
been
ripped
off
by
Parco
dei
Principi.
If
you
stay
here
I
recommend
you
bring
a
travel
kettle
as
there
is
no
facility
in
the
room
and
its
about
£20
to
order
for
room
service,
and
just
pay
for
the
cheapest
room
because
that
may
be
all
you
get.
