Since I heavily rely on reviews, I think it’s vital I share my experiences. First, I want to start by saying, if you are a person of color, please avoid booking Parco Dei Principi. Upon arrival, we received stares you’d only experience in America prior to desegregation. During check in the host repeated my name 3x to ensure it was really me checking in. I did not see this practice with the couple next to us and of course, they were not black. Perhaps, Anastasia doesn’t look like me? Post checking in, we hung out by the pool. A guest approached us. Based on her facial expressions and body language, I knew she wasn’t accustom to seeing black people. She said “are you two from Kenya?”, we politely corrected her. On the way back to the room, the wait staff were actively cleaning other rooms. Each time they saw us in the hallway, it was as if they saw a ghost. Each of them were startled and you could clearly see it in their body language. Very akward and concerning. I’m not sure what they use to clean the room , but it’s a strong floral scent. The scent lingered for 12 hours. I believe they spray the beds with the scent as well and spraying the beds only disrupts your endocrine system. That cleaning product can’t be healthy for guests. The strong scent caused migraines forcing me to wear a mask in the room. My husband had to request for them not to clean our room due to the impact of the cleaning products. We experienced 2 sleepless nights due to the scent in the room. This place is considered a resort, but there is nothing relaxing about the construction that starts at 830am. If they knew there was construction above our room, why did they place us there? Room service came on time, but the food was very cold. The food on the resort overall reflects a 5/10. They earned 5 because presentation was decent. Unfortunately, the food did not taste good at all. I wish I could get my money back because it was not worth the stay. Oh, I forgot to mention, you have to rent an iron, it doesn’t come with the room. Chile, it’s ghetto.

If your a person of colour, I strongly recommend that you do not use this hotel. So much so I actually changed flights to leave early, because of the horrible experience. People that frequent the hotel are quite clearly racist as it is used for conferences. I was subject to the phrases “negro” and “cappuccino” just for being there. Staff are very cold, unwelcoming and certainly unhelpful, however I witnessed them being very accommodating to other guests with lighter skin tones. I also did not see anyone else of colour in the hotel and now I know why. You pay a lot of money to stay somewhere to have a good experience but in this case I think I would of been better off and enjoyed my time more if I stayed in a hostel. All in all I will never come back and visit this hotel.

Was hot in Rome and we needed a rest day so we booked a pool day pass. 50 euro each 9am - 7pm. Included towel, daybed and umbrella- poolside bar and food. Fabulous day.

There are too small and dark rooms on the corner without a window. We wanted to change our room but they said the hotel is fully booked. When we rechecked for online booking sites, there were empty rooms .. so they just lied!

It's a beautiful hotel to look at, but not so great to stay. They show you the beautiful pool on the front page of their website, but good luck trying to use it. Quite frankly they act as if you are a nuisance when you stay here. Honestly, spend your money at the Marriott or one of the other luxury hotels closer to the Center of the City. Drinks and food are twice as expensive as the rest of the area. And getting in and out of this location can be a challenge, not that the staff will lift a finger to help you get anywhere. It's no wonder that it is no longer an Amex Platinum premium location.

Always amazing. I stayed a few times and it's never disappointing as well as their pools & spa, their hospitable staff, their gifts, celebrity sightings, amazing rooms, the location - just like when it was featured in the Netflix series Baby. I love everything about that place including the guests. I loved that they ironed my dress for opera one time I stayed there! I mean that is more than 5 star when they iron your clothes for you! They treated us with free champagne and some other NYE treats to make up for a horrid experience at another 5 star. We even run into some Italian celebrities there :)

This hotel has an old world charm and a welcoming atmosphere. The service was great and the location next to Villa Borghese was perfect for strolling through on our way to sightseeing in Rome. A huge pool for a city hotel was a welcome respite from the heat of Rome. There are many fantastic restaurants within walking distance of the hotel and the concierge was helpful in making recommendations and bookings.

Though the hotel is advertised as top notch, my experience was far from this: the rooms are small and very noisy, especially if you are given a corner one next to the cleaners' station. I heard noise from 6 am till 11 pm. When asked for another room, the staff at front desk were rather annoyed and rude. I feel unless you are a VIP visitor or Zelensky, they do not care at all. The worst part was the room bathroom: very small and the toilet was full of debris, as if it had not been cleaned for months. Simply disgusting. Definitely would not recommend.

5 Star Luxury hotel with a fantastic, classical atmosphere. When you enter the lobby you already know quite well what you can expect. The rooms are beautiful and elegant, but a bit small. I loved the outstanding breakfast, a wonderful buffet. Conference rooms are okish. From the outside the hotel looks a bit shabby, doesn’t reveal the beauty you experience inside. Garden, terrace and pool are also not overwhelming

There are so many better alternative hotels where the service, interior and breakfast (bread dry, cappuccino mediocre and no veggies at all) is better as well as the location (a taxi I the only alternative nighttime). The pool was fully booked and not accessible. The reception did not even apologize and just gave a note with phone number so that we could call to check on our own if there was a change. On the positive side: good beds and dark rooms.

This hotel is a odd mix, on the outside is a modern hotel, but when you walk into the hotel you enter a different time. It's like stepping back 200 years into a villa of a Duke. The interior is very grand. Service is friendly and welcoming. Food is very good. Good swimming pool and garden area with loungers.

The hotel decor is old fashioned, but that’s the style of the hotel. Very clean, nice sized rooms, comfortable bed and OK AC (could have gotten colder). Great pool to beat the heat in Rome. Be sure to have concierge reserve you a spot ahead of time. Unfortunately the walk to the central areas of the city are much further than we had anticipated. It’s really off the beaten path, taking over 30 minutes to walk to the Spanish steps. Staff could have been friendlier to be honest. FYI- there is a shuttle into the proper city, however it only runs Monday- Friday and I imagine it’s hours aren’t that great.

Don't forget to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a stay. This web site will compare hundreds of booking websites and normally will have rates much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is one of the highest rated in the area. I've been coming here for years. If you decide to stay here you for sure won't regret it. Everything is great, I would have to give praise for the cleanliness of the hotel and the very kind maid Anna Maria Caporuscio. The hotel is very aesthetic and has nicely chosen details. The only complaint is that they don't have an iron in the room.

This hotel has the Roman walls inside the garden ! BUT positive / negative points : 1. FOOD - poor choice and average quality . 2. PERSONNEL- very nice but they are talking and behaving like they are home. 3. HOUSE KEEPING - not very professional because after they left the room was still full of dust . 5. Facilities - amazing swimming pools with jacuzzi but the switches were not working so the personnel had to switch every minute. 7 children are not welcome: no special places for children , no services , no toys ! 8 people with special needs are not welcome: no ramps for wheel chair , no menu for people with sight difficulties 7. View and general feeling - architecture , interior design and facilities are among the best in Rome but is managed really bad !

I attended my brothers wedding here and stayed for several days. I could not fault the hotel and the food served during the wedding event was absolutely fantastic, as was the evening buffet served by the pool with band and open bar. We were even served an amazing buffet on the terrace before we sat down for the wedding meal! If only all weddings were like this and in such beautiful surroundings. I have stayed in many of the best hotels in Rome and I really appreciated the quiet location of this hotel and the great pool, which was especially appreciated in the mid-September heat. Breakfast was also excellent. I will be returning.

Wow! So happy with my stay! Booked this place for a great price at ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ I like this resort and I'm so happy I stayed at my favorite place for less than what I normally pay. Nice area, great wellness center, delicious breakfasts, clean and pleasant place

Had a really bad experience at this hotel.. reception staff are extremely dishonest and unprofessional… i was charged 800 euros+ after reception told they wouldn’t.. 2 hours after leaving 800+ euros were charged without authorization. Btw if they recommend you a restaurant really stay away from it.

The Parco dei Principi hotel is a beautiful hotel located on the outskirts of Rome, a good 45 minute walk into the centre so not ideal for sightseeing but great for relaxing around the pool. I stayed for 1 week in September 2023 with my Fiance. The reason for the 2 star review is the fact that I had paid a premium to book a Dome Room, located on a high floor at the rear of the hotel, next to the park (overlooking The St Peters Basillica Dome) in Rome. I made my booking with LastMinute.com and had all my paperwork to show this. Upon arrival, late in the evening, we were shown to a room on the second floor above the main entrance of the hotel. This was not the room I had imagined and obviously did not have a view of Rome. I questioned this with the man at reception, who did not even look at my paperwork. He just said that was not the room I had booked. As it was late and we had arranged to go out for dinner I left it as I didn't want to spoil my first evening in Rome arguing. The following day I asked again and also a further 3rd day to be told each time that it was not possible. I have taken the matter up with LastMinute.com who were hugely apologetic and have been trying to contact the hotel to get me a partial refund. However they are still waiting to hear back from them 6 weeks later. The room we were given was fine, very nice actually and it did not affect our holiday at all, but I had paid much more for the room with a view, to give the luxury holiday vibe and feel that I have been ripped off by Parco dei Principi. If you stay here I recommend you bring a travel kettle as there is no facility in the room and its about £20 to order for room service, and just pay for the cheapest room because that may be all you get.

Our cruise boat company put us there. Very expensive but nice. I was blown away by the price. A delegation from Bangladesh was staying there so the place was mobbed by police.

Our favourite hotel in Rome and the only hotel we will ever stay at! Thank you so much to the incredible staff for being so welcoming and so professional. Can’t say a bad word about it. Alla prossima!

What an incredible team! The concierge team, including Mario, shines bright as they helped us with not only missing luggage due to the airport but also last minute bookings. Our cruise was cancelled and the entire team accommodated us as able. So kind and thoughtful. We enjoyed the gym, the bar, and the spa too. We will return!

Great hotel. Rooms were incredible and the food was the best. Only complaint I would have was that it was a long distance from historical Rome.

Don’t stay at this hotel because you risk your safety and life. During my stay the hotel went on fire and nobody of the staff even woke me up! It was a fire on the side of the hotel but the interior was full of smoke and if I didn’t wake up I would continue sleeping in the hotel on fire! When I got to the reception they told me to go outside and didn’t offer even a glass of water and there was nowhere to refresh. The staff of the hotel and especially the reception were acting arrogant and did not even apologize after I spent 3 hours in my pyjama on the street waiting to get back to my room. Also the hotel charged me for everything as normal. This is absolutely outrageous! Stay away and maybe the rooms are nice but the behavior of staff ruins everything! Also the location is far from all sights and the area around in run down with puddles and broken road around.

One of the best hotels in Rome. Fantastic ambience and great rooms. Concierge team is very helpful and friendly. Hotel is definitely recommended if you are looking for class and service. Front team can be more attractive and helpful to the guests coming to reception and waiting for them to ask how can they help us, seems though they are not attending a customer they just tend to ignore you are there.

Perfect hospitality. Fine old fashioned building. The staff could not be faulted. Very comfortable bed and room. A great view. Superior pools at 25 meters. A little odd that you have to wear a swimming cap in the indoor pool, even if like me you have little hair on your head but have a beard. Perfectly located to stroll into the city through the park. You can not go wrong staying here.
