The place has two Symphony halls - Sala Santa Cecilia for bigger symphony concerts or for recitals of big stars (like Andras Schiff) and Sala Sinopoli for more chamber music events and less-known musicians. Both halls are very large for their purpose and presently in 2023 I have not seen them full. In the past the attendance seemed to be better. All that means that it is not difficult to obtain a ticket although I reserved everything in advance online, it worked very well with admission. The chairs are very comfortable and the acoustics are excellent. The public is very well-behaved, no cell phone ringing or talking. The applause is somewhat reserved compared to Paris or Boston audiences for symphonies while they do make an ovation for solo performers, possibly in hope of encores. I was astonished at a very cold reception of Bruckner and Mendelssohn while Beethoven 7th was enthusiastically received. Everyone now brings their coat in, the cloak room is not much used unless it's raining and the coats are wet. The sight of folk's clothes on chairs is not the most pleasing. The place is huge and there is a lot of walking inside, the halls are on the second floor for which there are small elevators or one climbs endless stair. The dlground floor with conveniences is not heated, drafts are very strong. Inside the halls it's more comfortable. The concerts quality is excellent, world-class. But in winter it is somewhat difficult to reach, buses are infrequent and connections awkward. Most people come by their own car. Therefore it is not geared to tourists much. I love the concerts so I go, but it is arduous to reach and especially go back since buses stop at midnight and concerts often end around 11:30.

Musical, theatre complex with 3 concert halls of different sizes. Built of laminated wood with lead roofs, unique project of Renzo Piano - spectacular of its kind and also with the help of 180 musical engineers. Grandeur! It is located right in front of the former Olympic Village.

Visited as part of the Rome film festival. A wonderful venue, that works for a number of different event types. I think the only negative is that it’s quite far out, buses in the area infrequent and the metro out there non existent. So be prepared for a long walk or a cab.

Picked up a race registration from here. Nice big space. Inside wasn't open to visit since kids were practicing (I suppose) but I would like to come back for a show. Lots of parking and nice quiet neighborhood surrounding.

Great open-air music hall for 2800 seats. It was a real pleasure to attend the concert here. Amazing experience! The area is well-organised and well-kept, the staff are polite and friendly!

Very big place, and difficult to find the seats and parking place. But there many staff helping. Very long queue for the toilets. Taking some drinks from var is almost impossible. Acoustic of the music hall is wonderful.

Went to a symphony concert in the main hall and a piano recital in the smaller hall. Very nice venue although bit outside the city center. Accessible by bus and taxi. Note that the entrance for the venue is not so obvious on Google Maps. It is by the "Notebook" book store.

We went here for Ludovico Einaudi concert in June. The show itself was amazing, but the venue is an absolute crapshoot (in hindsight, so is all of Italy). No bottles go past the security. OK, makes sense, can't be thrown, right? No, they then sell bottled water inside (facepalm!), for which there is an endless queue... so a traditional Italian way of making some extra money. Not enough toilets, endless queues... Staff have no brain as keep sending people to random places to queue rather than let them find seat faster through the auditorium. The show started 15 minutes late because people weren't seated due to the organizational nightmare. Screw this place. I'd rather drive a knitting needle into my brain than come back...

What a spectacular building, inaugurated in 2002 by incorporating the remains of a Roman villa unearthed during the initial construction that started in 1995. The hall where the national orchestra performs has a whopping 2,744 seats. The whole complex was named after Ennio Morricone when he passed away in 2020. Transport is not easy to figure out for tourists, but one could walk or take a bus.

It's great to finally be able to go inside this building! It is operated by the Chamber of Commerce. Open admission. There is a short film describing its history (and the reason most of the columns are still standing). Not convinced that the references to Hadrian's wife (Vibia Sabina) in the film are historically accurate, but I appreciated the focus on women.

Impersonal big space. Feels like an airport lobby. Hard to get a taxi after an evening concert.

We were outside at the Lumineers concert and immediately fell in love with the location. Overall, all the fans are close to each other and you are very close to the live act. Very friendly and extremely relaxed staff. A wonderful evening with incredibly good Lumineers.

Great acoustics, very sober brick entrances, interesting wooden ceiling in the concert hall. Exceptional from the outside.

An excellent, modern hall with excellent acoustics. Convenient layout allows you to enjoy performance from anywhere.

It was nice and clean, the staff were friendly and so polite, the sound and lighting systems were top notch, just the leg space was a bit small (I'm 190cm high), overall it was satisfactory. A technical comment: since all the walls were parallel and flat the acoustics was a bit problematic and you could have heard the music bouncing and reflecting with echo.

Worst crowd control on the planet. These guys are asking for a disaster. They closed off all the exits but one, then yelled at people for not crowding into the cattle chute quickly enough. Seating is inconsistently numbered, and half the entrance stairs are blocked off, meaning you have to weave up, down, and across the stadium to try to find your seat number. Add these terrible entrance and exit flows to the fact that the place has one drink stand and two bathrooms for 2-3000 people, and you've got possibly the worst-managed venue I've ever seen. It's a shame, too, since the setting is really pretty.

This time I saw a jazz concert in trio, indoors. The acoustics was very very good. Sometimes this does not happen with bigger bands.

Great Renzo Piano's building, but poor Roman management. Halls can be visited only with the guide, the roman villa is inaccessible, so the small museum, and the terraces were closed... for some reasons...

We recently saw Sting here, and there wasn't a bad seat or standing room. Easy to access and felt safe as in our own country at a concert.

Visited here to attend a conference. Although it was not suitable for the conference, the overall size and facilities were excellent. The place was clean, well maintained, and the friendly staffs were here with this space. I think that all the environments available to contribute a good space for enjoying music.

in 2017 I went to my first LP concert, it was spectacular to participate in this experience and hear live music in this spectacular cavea. in 2022 I returned the experience was ten times better

We went to the Paulo Nutini concert. There was a line but everything went very smoothly and we were in, in no time. However when inside, there was just 1 bar upstairs for hundreds of people, which ofcourse created big waiting lines. They also make you take out any container with liquids which you can later pick up when going out. First you wait to pay, then you move to the second line to get your drink. So a recommendation if you are with more, some wait in the line to pay, and others take a spot in the line for drinks, like this you reduce waiting time. Music wise, take something to protect your ears. Lots of high pitched sounds.

An absolute playground for musicians - the sound is exceptional and the space fantastic. Went to 2 concerts there, and both were some of my best ever seen. I highly recommend! Only thing to be aware of: they don’t let you in with water bottles (plastic or other) - so you can easily be dehydrated (especially in these temperatures). Plan ahead and hydrate!

Saw Dylan here two nights on the trot. Comfy seating, suprisingly cheap for a music venue. Sound good but not brilliant. Decent access from surrounding area.

I was not able to get to the concert hall (inside) because it was not opened for visitation. The concert hall outside was a little bit crowdy because of the Ringo Star's concert scheduled. But coming inside from the outside concert hall, there is a museum that contains some devices and tools that were found when the auditorium was built. They found some ruins from before Christ. It is very interesting how much history below the modern city contains. I recommend all to take a look in this museum and the crew from it is sooooo kind and happy to assist the tourist that I loved the visit.
