Everyone sees the new photos of the same fountain. I thought people might enjoy some historical photos of the same place. Beautiful fountain in a very busy round about. If you want to get close to it, go early in the morning.

Piazza Barberini is a large piazza in the centro storico or city center of Rome and situated on the Quirinal Hill. Had a lovely time there and the Tritone fountain is located right in the middle.

Beautiful plaza next to the metro and only 5mins walk to the Trevi fountain. Theres a beautiful terrace on the 8th floor of the Bernini hotel open for lunch and dinner that has great views of the piazza.

Treasures by Bernini abound in Rome. The piazza is rather small and is surrounded by busy streets with cars and mopeds whizzing by so not a place for quiet. However, it’s worth stopping by to view another wonderful sculpture and will be along most routes to other places of interest in Rome.

Some nice cafe's and the fountain was made from stone from the Colessium.

Busy piazza traffic wise, and the noise to go with it, too people watch with a coffee or something stronger not bad. Unfortunately, no water in the fountain worth seeing mmmm.

It's a beautiful place on your way to Travi Fountain. It has some eateries that are affordable. We are pizza and lasagna.

A very beautiful square in the heart of Rome with a convenient metro line next to it and wonderful shops around. Perfect for window shopping and getting good food around. The fountain is very beautiful.

Lovely little place on a large junction, can't remember name of fountain at the centre. Service was at the table and a great place to watch and chat as the day moves by. A good assorted menu for food and drink, prices pretty much in line with rest of Rome. We bumped into several other international visitors here, so it is a nice place to chill.

I came here by accident going to the Spanish Steps. Beautiful fountain with Triton. I read that this square was used in some movies.

Visited here on the 1st Sunday of the month. Booked free tickets online. Beautiful place. Street parking available. Love that that art pieces have English text beside them, really helpful for visitors.

The Piazza Barberini is a beautiful square in the centre of Rome with stunning ornate fountains, the atmosphere was lovely sitting in one of the many cafe bars that surround the Piazza. Definitely worth a visit.

Verily, God created! Human artefact can tell! The architecture and the wisdom therein shows how mighty our Creator is! Glory and praise to Him for the beauty seen at Barberini! If you've never been to this place, "go and see"!

Very cool high end hotel, pretty nice bar at the top and the views are probably some of the best in Rome.

It has a nice fountain designed by Barberini, as the name says. However, it didn't amaze me, it's a nice piazza but nothing really stood up to me if compared to the rest of the city

We weren't sure if we wanted to eat or to have drinks only. We've decided to have only drinks because we weren't hungry at this moment. When we've tried to order our drinks (the place isn't big but there were 3-4 free tables) we were told that serving is only for those who want to lunch. There should be sign on the entrance about this kind of service.

Location! Our stay couldn’t have been better. The service from check-in till departure was excellent. The rooftop restaurant is delicious and overlooks the skyline mesmerizing at sunset.

Interesting fountain by Bernini, just near metro Barberini. Take care when crossing the roads around it - there are construction works and heavy traffic in many directions.

It was okay. Only was able to see this pictured fountain while on a bus tour. The street is very busy so you cannot get any closer unless you chance going across the street because this is in the middle of it.

Until the 18th century, unknown human corpses were displayed here for public identification!

A bit touristy. Food was good. The "street barkers" will try to guilt you into dining at their restaurants. It is very effective! Fountain is pretty cool. And central to busses and trains.

I was so excited and so disappointed. The Hans Holbein is not here now. 2 of the other major works St John the Baptist, and the Narcissist by Caravaggio have been moved to the exhibition so now you have to pay extra to see them and extra 8€ for 20€ total since the Vatican Museums are only 17€ this is very expensive. There are two other rooms closed including the 18th century rooms. So basically the main reasons for me to come are not available yet the price is the same or more.

Loved it & the Hanukkah celebration! Not the most exciting when compared to other piazza points in Rome!

Part of a beautiful city, Rome is well worth a visit. But it's a big place, take a comfortable shoes for the uneven Roman classical coble roads. If you want to see the sights, consider a tour bus, €20 and you can hop on/off as many times as you wish within a 24hr period. Just watch out for people trying to sell you cheep rubbish, they are a con and they are very, very persistent.

Subway stop, wine bar, movie theatre, hotels, all day restaurant bars, gelato and clothing stores. CATS musical, high end leather and gold coin shop.

I enjoyed many good dining experiences in Rome, but this was the exception. Their Four Cheeses pizza seemed to be mono-cheese, the staff was not very engaged, and I was visited by a cockroach during my meal. I won't be back.
