An AMAZING Hilton brand property in Rome,Italy! We went in November 2023 with three of our grandkids (ages 10, 9, and 9), we all loved this property. Very nice experience and customer service from check-in to check out! The room, breakfast buffet, indoor pool, food, service, and everything in between were absolutely perfect! They even have a shuttle bus that runs every hour to take you and pick you up from a designated point in city center. You'll still have to do some walking to get to your points of destinations. We'll most definitely stay here again on our return trip to Rome,Italy!

We had such a great time staying at the Cavalieri! If you are able to choose, you should try everything in your power to get a city view room. The view is absolutely stunning. I can say that the best view of the city by far during my visit to Italy was from my own balcony. Just incredible! Aside from the stunning view, the room itself was wonderful. Spacious, very well decorated, and extremely comfortable. I really appreciated the separate vanity table so my wife didn't clutter up the bathroom with her things....everything was on a separate counter from the sink. The staff was excellent. Our housekeeping crew was the absolute best, so thorough and extremely friendly! In fact, every staff member I encountered was personable and helpful. Some random notes: They provide a blow dryer, but not an iron. You can have the hotel wash/press/dry clean your clothes, but be aware it is very pricey. There is also a sewing kit and a shoe shine brush. I asked if they had a shipping service for wine purchases throughout the week and they do not. Overall, this was a top notch experience. Definitely worth the cost in my opinion!

We stayed here for Rome view with the Imperial Club access. It was about $700 per night for two people I believe, which wasn’t bad despite we got the most expensive option. Overall service was great. You can basically get the unlimited food from the Imperial lounge but food doesn’t change much. (Still people there are nice and food is good. I would definitely recommend this!) Indoor pool was under construction without notice which was a big shame because that pool was what I was excited for.. :/ We did the couples spa and it was so mild that I couldn’t feel at all.. people there don’t look so professional and I couldn’t really feel special enough there. We also went to La Pergola, which was okay—i will leave this for a separate review. The view from the Imperial room is nice tho it’s so far away from the Rome and their shuttle drop off point is so far away from everything that makes you walk a lot. Overall was fine but didn’t meet my expectations. Since it’s supposed to be one of the best 5-star hotels in Europe and number one spa in Europe, I expected more than this. If I go back to Rome, I will probably not coming back to this hotel majorly because of the inconvenience of the location.

The hotel offers elegant and spacious guest rooms and suites, exquisitely designed with classic Italian style and contemporary touches. The accommodations feature luxurious furnishings, plush bedding, and modern amenities, ensuring a comfortable and indulgent stay. It boasts exceptional dining experiences with its array of restaurants and bars. La Pergola, the hotel's three-Michelin-starred restaurant, is renowned for its gourmet cuisine and extensive wine cellar. Other dining venues offer a variety of culinary delights, including Italian, Mediterranean, and international cuisines. The also hotel houses an impressive art collection, featuring valuable paintings, sculptures, and antiques. Guests can enjoy the art displays throughout the hotel, creating a unique blend of luxury and culture.

My wife and I traveled for our anniversary and her birthday; this hotel was AMAZING!!! From the moment we checked in until the time we check out, the staff was personable, professional and extremely helpful! We chose the Rome view and couldn't have asked for a more breathtaking view of the Eternal City! We ordered room service a few times and the food was fresh, tasted great and was reasonably priced. We will absolutely visit this location again and definitely recommend to our family and friends!

Beautiful hotel. Very classy. Lots of art inside. The lobby and lounge is definitely 5 star vibes! Beautiful view from our hotel room! Downside: on our 10 day stay, ive spent over $500 in water charges by ordering water and taking water from the mini bar. $8 bucks for an 8 oz of water! They only give two 8 oz water bottles a day. The ventilation blows dust, so everything needs to be wiped daily otherwise there's dust everywhere, lastly the water pressure at the shower is pretty low.

As good as it gets for a 5 star hotel. Great service and always willing to help with anything you need. They have a shuttle service that can take you to and from central Rome. Or they can get you a taxi, or book an Uber. They can help with any reservations you may need. They have two pools, a Spa, restaurants, a bar and great views. It’s super quiet, and the rooms have the ability to be blacked out and noise free for a great nights sleep. They even have a pillow menu. NOTE: It is not walkable to and from any of the sights in Rome! In the end it may be expensive, but it’s definitely worth the cost. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Spectacular hotel and incredibly friendly staff! We came here for a night before flying out of Rome and immediately loved the hotel. We were offered cold water at checkin and shown to a beautiful room with the most comfortable bed and well stocked bathroom! Room service was quick and reasonably priced. We would definitely stay here again!

The hotel and room were very nice and spacious. However, we were placed in a room next to the staff elevator/freight lift (room service carts and cleaners worked 24 hours) and under their rooftop bar. Not clear where the noise was coming from but it was the loudest two nights we’ve ever spent in a hotel. Slept with white noise apps on that still didn’t drown out the noise. The free shuttle is nice touch, but for $600 a night I wish a little more was included.

An unbelievable experience. From the magical smell of the lobby, to the indescribably delicious carbonara, this hotel was dreamy. The staff members are kind, the rooms are clean, and the views are amazing. Each spacious bathroom comes with a bidet. Turn down service, robes, excellent amenities and any other accommodation you’d expect from a hotel of this caliber were all present. I can’t wait to stay here again. 12/10 highly recommend.

We spent our New Year’s and glad we chose this place! Our 3 night stay here was perfect. We saw the fireworks from our room. The gala dinner exceeded our expectations. They treated our 1 year old son like an adult and I was beyond impressed. We had a little bit of trouble during our checkout but and the issue was quickly resolved. Overall, we were very happy and satisfied.

Wow. What a once in a lifetime experience ! The hotel is a museum in and of itself. Service is unparalleled, our room was exquisite, the food in the Executive Lounge was fabulous, and the views were breathtaking. We were belatedly celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary that had been postponed by Covid, and what a great time it was! Absolutely recommended!

We stayed four nights Sept 2023, with two grown kids & our grandson. We had the connected family room for the kids and our suite. Total of three rooms. I’ve never stayed at a Hilton property that took our diamond membership to this level. We were upgraded w/out asking and given amazing service. It was the most relaxing and welcome time we had on our whole trip. From housekeeping to management, we had no complaints. I wish we had stayed longer, we moved on to another city and hotel brand and though the hotel was beautiful, the staff was nothing compared to Rome Cavallari. Whoever is running this team of professionals has given us an experience that no one will ever match. It may have ruined my ability to stay anywhere outside the Hilton brand, in Europe, for good….

Staying at this hotel was absolutely stunning, not just the room (which was!), but the staff was the true star. The level of service is unprecedented, and they went out of their way to make us feel right at home. The breakfast was unlike any other experience we've had. Thanks again for making our anniversary so special!

Hotel and service was excellent! The location was amazing in terms of views, but not as far as being close to things. Fortunately they offer a shuttle to get you down the hill into the center by the U.S. Embassy though! Our stay was great.

  • 5/5 Michael G. 5 months ago on Google
Wow! What a hotel. This was hands down the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in. We were upgraded (as Hilton Diamond) to an enormous suite on the 6th floor. The art alone in this suite cost more than my entire house! We also had access to the spa which was awesome. The only knock on the location is that's it's far away, not walking distance to anything. But the views that provides being on top of that hill make up for it! You have to get an uber or taxi to take you to and from, but it's worth the stay. Update: I forgot there is a shuttle that will pick up and drop you off in the middle of town. The times may not work for you, but it's a good option.

Fabulous view over Rome on the city side, and has one of the two or three best hotel gyms I have ever visited. To have a view make sure you are above level three or four. It’s pretty far from the center so be prepared for taking a cab, or use the hourly shuttle (free). Last ride around 20:30 or 21:00.

Gorgeous hotel atop the city. Rooms feel luxurious and staff is there to cater to your needs. The breakfast experience is not to be missed. And make sure you make time to lounge in one of their pools.

  • 5/5 Michael B. 4 months ago on Google
A little away from the city centre, but the view is second to none. Unlike so many luxury hotels, the bed was one we didn’t want to get out of it was so comfortable. Great service, beautiful clean and spacious rooms, this is a place that will forever hold a place in our hearts.

Beautiful hotel full of gorgeous arts. Looks amazing like a castle. In garden many statues of Lions. Great pool for adults and 2 small for children. Room spotless. Delicious food. Friendly staff. Big thanks for Ms Anna - front office receptionist 😀👍🏼

Had a great few days here! Breakfast buffet was on point to start the day. It was about a 10 min drive to the Vatican if that. Beautiful grounds and some cool amenities in the room such as a noise silencer that you can shut in the room to cut out any excess noise from the hallway. The blackout screen that you can control to cover the patio. 2 showers and a tub. Art work all over that is nice to look at. Just an overall nice location in a bustling city! Def recommend!

Completely meets expectations. A high-end hotel with superb professional staff yet very friendly and helpful. Food is top-notch quality as it is the bar and the fun at pools and around the relaxed areas. Rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds and good work areas and even a coffee or wine balcony with great scenery. I was thrilled to have stayed here while in Rome. Please do not forget to pay attention to all the art pieces throughout the hotel. They are awesome!

Absolutely one of the worst Hilton properties. Location - far away from anything important. We knew that, but just heads up for anyone thinking of coming here. Service - 40 minutes to have the bags sent to the room. Arriving at 2pm with two small children to let us know the room is not ready, but at 3pm sharp room was ready, and even though we were upgraded beforehand, the check in agent did not want to commit to the upgrade, again a very first at any Hilton property after staying about 700 total nights all over the world. Upon check out the housekeeping didn't even wait for us to leave to want to come in. Water - you're limited to 4 bottles of water a day, at a 800 euro a night hotel... hmm kind of rough. Never have I ever been limited on water at a Waldorf Astoria property, even in the US. Room - outdated room. Old, tired. Room facing a cell tower for your frying pleasure. Room walls were dirty, hair on the floor. Housekeeping just opens the door without knocking. I've been wanting to try this property for a long time and this was a good opportunity. I am very happy it was one night. We will never be back. Far far superior properties in the center that cost the same or even less (hint hint St Regis hint hint)... no comparsion.

My wife was here for a conference so I tagged along - and I’m very glad that I did! This hotel is very fancy and well maintained with Museum quality decorations throughout! The rooms are impeccable and five star! The breakfast was really well done and worth returning for, but the spa was my favorite! So, you’re probably asking, why not 5 stars? The location. This hotel is a LONG way from Rome, which is a very walkable city. I walked to the Vatican and it took about an hour. If you’re going here, stay and enjoy the property, just don’t expect to find Rome (or restaurants, etc) at your doorstep.

Beautiful and luxurious! This hotel is top notch. The service is very friendly and attentive. The hotel itself is beautiful with really comfortable, classy rooms. The breakfast buffet is delicious with lots of variety. The spa was my favorite part! I got the Mediterranean Journey - a facial and massage combo that was so relaxing. The spa has a whirlpool spa and steam room. Perfect way to unwind after a long flight!

Facility is beautiful. The grounds are nicely maintained. Three pools. Our room had a panoramic view of Rome. The front desk was efficient and friendly. Spa facilities were very nice.

This classic hotel in the outskirts of Rome (on Monte Mario with fantastic views of Rome) is a true gem. Fantastic service and an international ambience. Lovely pool areas (in- and outdoors), first class gym and a SPA out of this world. The restaurant delivers to high expectations and the breakfast buffet is just marvelous to enjoy in the garden next to the pool. Soft beds, which is uncommon in Italy.

Service and attention to detail was top notch. The staff was warm and attentive. The view of the City was amazing, breakfast was delicious, pool a perfect way to relax in the afternoon after seeing the sights in the City. The rooms, spacious and well appointed. Great value for your money. A room at Waldorf like this in the US and other places in the world would likely go for at least 2x the 280 Euro/night that we paid. Excellent family hotel, too, as we were traveling with 3 teenaged daughters, so breaking the day up between museums and sightseeing vs relaxing on property was a great way to keep them engaged!

  • 3/5 Jeff C. 2 years ago on Google
Fairly underwhelmed. Food at regular restaurant was sub-par for any part of Italy. Ordered room service and got best meal. They clearly cater to rich clientele and don't pay much attention to regular people.

Wonderful service and a beautiful hotel. We wanted Osso Bucco so the Concierge called over five restaurants until he found Tullio and made a reservation for us. Plus, the bed was the most comfortable bed I literally have ever slept in!! Great job and we will see you again soon!! 😊🤗👍🏼💪🏼✊🏼🥂🥂

After a dreadful experience at Rome’s Hotel Melia Agrippina, I checked into the Hilton and was treated to a true 5-star experience. It’s a big hotel, but here, big is beautiful. Every encounter I had — from the front desk to the concierge to the food servers — was warm and professional. The pools were gorgeous, the rooms were spacious and the food fresh and delicious. Even the tour guides were brilliant. The people here care deeply about their duty and their guests. I never heard anyone here tell me, “this is not possible.” The people went above and beyond for me. A true treasure.

Great hotel that made you feel like you were experiencing Rome, with great service and food. Highly recommend it if you plan to visit Rome.

  • 5/5 Lezlie R. 1 year ago on Google
The room got knocked down because there was no room in the refrigerator for our drinks and food, and the shower temperature keeps fluctuating between too cold and too hot. Well appointed rooms meant for an extended stay: large closet with lots of hangers and a 3-drawer bureau; a desk, chair, couch, coffee table, a nice king bed, and the bathroom is large. Shower and bath, plus handheld shower, and a bidet. Air conditioning is good, but is somewhat noisy. Blackout awning and a soundproof inner door allow for sleeping in. The balcony is private with walls between the adjacent balconies, and a there are 2 chairs and a small built-in table. The housekeeping staff are all amazing! Cheerful, helpful, discreet in the room if you are working there. Room service is superb, both the servers and the food! I twisted my ankle and the concierge got me an ankle wrap so I could still walk all the tours that were left. The location is on a hill overlooking Rome. The breeze helps beat the heat. The grounds are beautiful and large. The buffet food for the conference was mediocre, so were the box lunches, except that the salads were fresh and flavorful. Long lines for buffets and some of the options ran out. Outdoor pool closes at 7 p.m., which seems really early,, especially since the conference often went until 10 or 11 pm. There are 2 indoor pools that stay open later. We did not try the onsite spa, but it looked amazing.

Not sure what training the check in staff have undergone but it could not had any elements of customer service or hospitality. “The main hotel pool is closed because the management has the right to close any part of the hotel as they wish” was included in the initial welcome by the reception team! This followed by Rooms are not ready, and you can not alter dates of your reservation as it’s a legal contract. A robot would have displayed more empathy and kindness. The rooms are adequate and clean but dated.

Amazing hotel for a diamond member. Got an upgraded room facing the city which had a great balcony and maybe the best view I have ever had in a hotel room. Bed was amazing and the spa area, which was free and featured a Turkish bath, was wonderful. Free breakfast was delicious and top notch in all ways. Shuttle to city worked well, you certainly can't walk back to the hotel due to the hill it's on but maybe you could walk down if you felt adventurous.

The rooms were very nice and the view was absolutely stunning! I loved getting to know the many staff members I encountered and all of them were very friendly and helpful! On the first night, upon returning to the hotel late at night, I realized when approaching my room that I accidentally left my phone in the taxi. I began freaking out and Anne at the Concierge desk was very helpful in calling the taxi company to try and determine who my taxi driver was, all while I was using my iPad to track and ping my phone. After 30 minutes, the taxi company was able to contact the driver and he was able to bring my phone back. Anne was my savior that night and saved my vacation! Also, I have to give a huge thanks and 2 thumbs up on the breakfast buffet! The eggs were perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious!

Absolutely beautiful hotel and stunning wedding venue. I typically wouldn't splurge on a hotel this costly, but two friends recently married here, and the group rate was incredible -- particularly in comparison to similar hotels in Rome. The hotel is situated a bit outside of the city, so if you do plan to visit somewhere, you'll have to rely on taxi or the hotel shuttle to the city center which runs every hour. I was a bit surprised that with the exception of La Pergola (which catered the wedding), the food here is not good; however, the service and amenities are wonderful. Very grateful to be able to experience such a beautiful hotel.

If you look up the 10 best hotels in the world, this will usually be a location you find, and for good reason. This hotel has all the quality of a Waldorf Astoria and all the personality of Rome bundled into a phenomenal place. The location is on top of the hill overlooking the entire city so the views cannot be beat either. I really loved this hotel and it was one of my favorite hotels I have ever been to. The AC was amazing, which is hard to find in Rome, so that was perfect. The temperatures were in the 100s when we visited so this was incredible as you can imagine. All I can say is that the next time we are in Rome, this will definitely be our top choice and also the place we recommend to all our friends and family. What an incredible hotel, truly!

Great hotel! Me and family loved our stay there. The whole staff was very friendly and helpful at all times. Bedroom was large with a nice balcony facing the pool and the city. Greta option for families. It is 10 to 15 min taxi drive from most touristic places.

Beautiful location for a Grand Hotel.. One of the best hotels in Rome for many reasons, including the service, the view, the meals, the Executive Lounge... Our visit started great with Leonora taking care of our check-in. She was great answering all our questions and giving us details about the hotel services, like Spa, swimming pool, restaurants etc...this hotel is like a museum with beautiful and impressive art all over the place but without being gaudy or in bad style. The breakfast spread is impressive, well stocked with all the food needed for a healthy breakfast or a big hungry stomach, the Personnel at the Executive Lounge was so helpful taking care of all our needs, the place is spacious with TVs, quiet areas for reading and terraces where you can enjoy a glass of Prosecco or have an espresso while admiring the view of the Eternal City and the grounds of the swimming pool and gardens... Our room was great with plenty of space, a desk, chairs and everything we needed for our stay and we had a great view as well Such a nice visit, the Concierge was helpful getting us transportation to the airport and answering questions about restaurants... It is a place we are going to miss and we will visit again... being located a little far from Rome main historical and archaeological sites is a little inconvenience but the hotel has a free shuttle that takes you to and picks you up from a very convenient spot in the heart of the city Excellence overall... Thanks again, Leonora
