We are returning guests and as with the previous visit, the hotel is amazing! The staff are terrific and very helpful. We had a great room looking out to one of the side 'lanes' and the room was immaculate as were both bathrooms. The only request we would recommend is perhaps another staff member to help with the breakfast service but this is a minor detail. The location is like being part of a film set, truly stunning! Being such great value, this hotel is a must for those wanting to be in the heart of the eternal city of Rome. Thank you all again. Patrick & Sasha

We had a wonderful 5 night stay in August 2023. We booked the Junior Suite/apartment which was perfect for our family of 4. The room layout was great and even larger than we were anticipating. It was located on the 5th floor (the only guest room on this level so very quiet) and the windows face away from the Pantheon so it was quiet. The A/C was wonderful and we needed it during our afternoon rests. The hotel breakfast had lots of variety and I saw them catering to dietary requests (gluten free bread, eggs to order, etc). We also really enjoyed the rooftop bar in the evenings before going for dinner. The location is literally across the street/square from the Pantheon in the heart of the historic center of Rome. I would highly recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

We stayed here for four days in October and had such a wonderful experience! The hotel location was absolutely perfect. Not only was it in front of a major Rome attraction, but we could easily walk to other places like the Coliseum or Vatican from here. The hotel staff were extremely kind, helpful and brought us anything extra we needed to our room within minutes. The hotel was surrounded by shops, cafes, restaurants, pharmacies and more. We stayed in a balcony room and it was absolutely worth it. The views from our room and the roof top bar were incredible, we took so many photos. Our room was a decent size, clean, had outlets next to each side of the bed, and the A/C worked great. Also, the entire hotel has sound-proof windows so you couldn’t hear anything outside which was a huge factor when deciding to stay here. Overall, this hotel was lovely and a highlight of our first trip to Rome!

Excellent, as always. We had a very well-kept, clean room for 2 persons, good sized bathroom and a great view out our windows of the Pantheon. We love this hotel and stay here each time we find ourselves back in Rome. The desk staff are fabulous and accommodating. No problems with the arranged shuttles to/from the airport - always timely with clean vehicles and careful drivers. We enjoy the included breakfast - a nicely appointed breakfast room and a good variety of foods. We truly enjoy the roof top bar toward the evening - great view of the Pantheon and other spires and roof-tops of the surrounding area. Highly recommend.

I’m currently staying here. This is a fantastic hotel! It’s beautiful, the service is excellent, and the view of the Pantheon from the room is amazing! Free daily breakfast is great, WiFi is fast, AC is strong and good. I will definitely stay here again next time I’m in Rome!

Location, location, location. To the side of the Pantheon, we loved the hotel and location. Our room overlooked the plaza. The beds are comfortable and the room has everything you need. The included breakfast had food to make all happy. We enjoyed the helpful staff and the rooftop bar is a nice place to sit in the evening. Restaurants abound in the area and you can walk to a lot of sites. Do not hesitate to book this great hotel.

The best choice we could have ever had in Rome! All staff members are welcoming and very friendly, helping in any possible issue. Rooms are spacious, cleaning services were on top! And location is incredible- you are literally in the center of the city, easy to get everywhere. Strongly recommended!

Amazing location steps from the Pantheon, within a 20-30 minute walk from all the major sites within the center of Rome. Nice view of the piazza from the rooftop terrace. Stayed here solo in a single room which was small, but that's standard for such a centrally located hotel at this price point. Room itself felt a bit worn and while for the most part it was quite clean, there was some visible dust in the corners / harder-to-reach places. Bathroom was large and the fixtures appeared recently updated. Staff was friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast, while simple, is included with the stay which is a nice bonus. Would stay again.

We recently completed a ten day stay at the Albergo del Senato. We had a small but very comfortable double room overlooking the piazza. It's a great location--an easy walk to whatever you may want to see in the historic city center. The service was excellent, the staff friendly and courteous. The breakfasts were excellent as well. Nothing like having the Pantheon right out your window. It was surprisingly quiet at night given the location.

The Hotel Albergo del Senato has everything you could want for a perfect stay in Rome, starting with its prime location in the very heart of the historic center. The elegantly appointed rooms are immaculately clean, the service is impeccable, and everyone on the staff is welcoming and friendly. The breakfast spread is fresh, varied, and delicious. And there's nothing on earth like waking up to a view of the Pantheon!

Great location in the heart of Florence. Beautiful hotel with attentive staff. Our suite was on the 3rd floor. There were various levels on the 3rd floor accessible via a couple of steps. Our suite had a few steps from the bathroom and sitting area to the bedroom which could be a tad dangerous if needing the bathroom in the middle of the night. The lighting in the bedroom was very dim. The bathroom was very spacious and bright. The breakfast buffet was amazing.

Wonderful, elegant hotel in the best location right at the Pantheon. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The rooms are beautifully decorated, well maintained and very clean. I arrived on an early morning flight and while I was happy to leave my luggage in the hotel storage room until check in time, the reception staff and cleaners ensured my room was given a priority to be cleaned and within an hour I was checked into my room. The roof top terrace is such a bonus and only accessible to hotel guests. The breakfast was very very good. Scrambled egg and bacon cooked perfectly along with a continental style buffet. I would not hesitate to stay here again and more than happy to recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Albergo del Senato. It was only one night and now I wish we stayed a few more nights. Staff at hotel very professional and courteous, friendly and kind! Our room was fantastic-thank you- looking at the Pantheon from our window. Room clean and very comfortable Great location to see the surrounding popular sites. The hotel was in the perfect location. One step out of the door, and you are looking at the Pantheon (which also made it easy to find on any map). My single room was perfect: comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, mini-bar and safe - very lovely. But the crowning glory of this hotel is its staff. I cannot say how friendly and helpful each and every person was. Truly they all went above and beyond the usual hotel staff. I could not have picked a better hotel, and I will never stay anywhere else in Rome. Thank you for making my first trip to Rome absolutely wonderful.

This hotel is great for a Rome hotel. We've stayed in others and this one is more like an American hotel. Location is phenomenal. The service was great, especially Julia. Julia went out of her way for me when I had an issue not at all related to the hotel. The rooftop terrace for before dinner drinks is lovely and the bartenders were friendly. Room was nice; bathroom large for Rome. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Our room (triple) was very large and comfortable with many amenities including fridge, large laptop-sized safe with internal power, coffee/tea, and slippers. The bathroom had a heated towel bar, makeup mirror, and both shampoo and conditioner (which is a rare find in Europe). The window opened onto a very lively street and if you leaned out you could just see the Pantheon. I was worried about the noise coming from the street, but it was actually reasonably quite overnight/early morning. The rooftop bar was closed for the season, but the rooftop terrace was still accessible to guests. It was the perfect place to bring a bottle of wine and some snacks and enjoy the amazing views. I would love to get one of the Pantheon-facing rooms next time I’m in Rome.

Amazing stay at Albergo del Senato. We are three days into our trip from the US and thoroughly enjoying the hotel. The room is clean and beds comfortable. They serve a nice breakfast in the morning, and you truly cannot beat the location. Everywhere is super close and an enjoyable walk. Make sure to visit Michele at the hotel bar and ask for his famous aperol spritz. It is absolutely out of this world and his engaging conversation and stellar drink artistry adds to the wonderful experience.

I have nothing but great things to say about this hotel, the location and the staff. It was our first trip to Italy, and it was a great one! The staff was kind enough to give us a room with a view of the Pantheon. When you walk outside the hotel doors, it is right there, plus a lovely little square with restaurants. You are in close proximity to all the major sights- within walking distance. The staff always greeted us with smiles and knew what room we were in. Housekeeping came in and tidied up our room daily. Thank you for a lovely stay - we will be back!

We will look forward to a return visit to this well-situated hotel. It was clean & comfortable within close proximity to most of the sights of Rome. The rooftop bar was the perfect place to unwind after a full day of sightseeing. The view from there was 360°. An issue with the bathroom seemed to meet with miscommunication among the staff & was yet to be resolved when we checked out. That being said, this would be my first choice to stay in Rome.

The staff are incredible at this perfectly positioned hotel. They know every guest by name within minutes and are so friendly, professional and helpful. This is our second stay and if ever back in Rome would stay again without a doubt. Their rooftop terrace overlooking the Pantheon is a stunning place to escape the crowds, relax and watch Rome. Beautiful for sunrise, sunset and anything in between

An exceptional hotel, with the most helpful and friendly staff. Its location could not be more perfect, as it overlooks the Pantheon. Our room was beautiful, comfortable, clean and furnished tastefully. Our view overlooking the Pantheon was breathtaking. Breakfast was delicious - especially the scrambled eggs and bacon. We felt thoroughly looked after and I 100% would recommend.

This is where we always stay in Rome. Rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. Everything is spotless. Staff is outstanding. This time we received a lovely bottle of wine and cookies as a surprise. We always feel welcome and happy here! Also, the hotel is in a great location for me and I can walk almost everywhere I want to go.

My husband and I loved staying at the Albergo del Senato! It was a lovely hotel with great amenities. Right on the Piazza della Rotunda where the Pantheon is! The square can get really busy and loud into the night, but I brought a sound machine with me and kept it on while we were sleeping. That worked really well! The staff at the hotel was so kind and helpful, especially with answering questions and coordinating reservations prior to our trip. Housekeeping was wonderful as well, and the breakfasts were yummy! The rooftop bar was the highlight for us! Amazing view and such a nice way to start the evening! I highly recommend this hotel!

Our second visit to this lovely hotel proved just as memorable as the first 16 years ago! Our suite was luxurious and well-appointed, the housekeeping very attentive, and the front desk simply lovely and helpful every day. The rooftop bar must be the most hidden secret in all of Rome and only for guests! Even if your room doesn’t have a view, don’t worry; the rooftop and incredible location will more than make up for it. We enjoyed the convenience of the hardy breakfast before we headed out for tours. I hope this hotel never changes. It’s perfect just the way it is. Very highly recommend!

Our stay at the Albergo Del Senato was nothing less than perfect. We had an amazing view of the pantheon from our window and we were very centrally located to every place we wanted to see. I would absolutely recommend staying at this establishment, it was perfect for our honeymoon!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here during a September trip. It's hard to find a better located hotel than Albergo del Senato. Sites of interest, nice restaurants, and a taxi stand are all very walkable. The hotel itself is clean, safe, and rooms are spacious with all necessary ameneties. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure you have a great stay, often offering us great recommendations and answers to our many questions. We would definitely stay here again!

Very well situated across from the Pantheon. Our room on the first floor was smallish but immaculate and well appointed. Central AC allowed the windows to stay closed, blocking out most of the street noise. Friendly and helpful front desk staff and an excellent breakfast buffet. Lovely rooftop bar overlooks the Pantheon. My husband and I would definitely stay again.

The staff was very nice and helpful. Very clean. Our room was a hot but we told the front desk and they took care of it right away. Breakfast was very good. The location is perfect. In the middle of everything you want to see, walking distance. And the rooftop has a great view. Will definitely come back.

We were at this hotel for our honeymoon and it was perfect. The view from our room of the Pantheon was incredible. Everyone at the front desk was amazing. Just spectacular customer service. The roof top bar was something else with unprecedented views of Rome. We were within walking distance to every main attraction. I'd definitely stay there again.

The Pantheon is right outside the front door. The front office staff is very helpful, with plenty of advice and assistance for us - especially with transportation - long before our arrival. Americans have to remember that hotel rooms in Europe tend to be smaller than stateside, and this is further complicated by luggage. But the room was pleasant. We’d surely stay there again.

This is our third stay at Albergo del Senato. Perfect location in the centre of the historic part of Rome within walking distance of most attractions. Our spotlessly clean comfortable room overlooked the Pantheon. The roof top bar is the perfect place to watch the sun set whilst enjoying a pre-dinner drink! Excellent friendly service from all staff. Very good breakfast and no shortage of restaurants nearby. Another perfect stay - we'll be back!!

Best hotel stay for our honeymoon! The hotel was amazing and the staff was incredible. We were able to get the balcony for our stay which made it even more special. The view is outstanding and there is a private rooftop bar. Could not be happier with our choice to stay here. Thank you for making the start to our honeymoon perfect!

Wonderful little boutique hotel. Rooms are cozy, but the location is amazing (looks out at Pantheon), the people and service are fantastic, great breakfast, and a complimentary rooftop bar with views from Vatican, Piazza Venezia, Colosseum and more. Nice evening breeze up there too. Dozens of restaurants & gelato shops within steps.

The location next to the Pantheon was convenient to most sights in Rome. The staff was helpful with restaurant recommendations and arranging transport. Our room was beautiful. The hotel has a lovely rooftop bar that we used for pre dinner drinks every night and where you can enjoy the sunset. We had an early morning departure and they arranged a sack breakfast for us to take since we missed the hotel breakfast that morning. The bed was very comfortable but there is a bit of street noise. Hard to avoid in busy Rome!

The front staff was amazing! We were able to get our room upon arrival (11:00am) and they always greeted us as we entered the lobby. We thought the location was fabulous and we could not hear all the chaos outside. Check out the amazing view of their rooftop bar!

This was my first time in Rome and Albergo del Senato was recommended by a friend. It was the most amazing stay! The staff are genuinely the kindest and most helpful, taking care of every detail. The room was gorgeous. The view is hands down, one of the best views of the city. The location is perfect. I was able to walk to all major points in less than 30 mins, most much less. And I had the best bath of my life! I will definitely be back to Rome, if just to stay at Albergo del Senato again!

Helpful staff. We needed to arrive a day earlier and they were very prompt at responding to my request and helping us out. Couldn’t think of a better location to stay in Rome. If you can afford to- choose a room with view over pantheon. There were 3 of us. Our first room was a suite and the third person was able to stay in a separate area behind a closed door which was great- our second night was the 3 person family room and the third person was in the room with us and the room was smaller- but cheaper and manageable for a night or 2. Highly recommend you stay here. Breakfast was good- not great- but had everything you may need or want.

This hotel was a wonderful find by my wife, who was researching hotels in the heart of Rome for our wedding anniversary visit. It is very tastefully decorated throughout (not overly modern and not too dated, just as we prefer), is immaculately clean and has an unbeatable location. We stayed for 4 nights in room 606, one of the Penthouse Suites on the 6th floor, which has a balcony with a small table and two chairs, a decent sized bedroom with a separate, adjoining seating area and a very nicely appointed bathroom. Sipping coffees on our balcony at the break of dawn each day overlooking the incredible Pantheon, are memories we will cherish forever. The professional, yet very friendly service by all the staff we encountered was absolutely faultless. They really cannot do enough for you. We had a magical break and would recommend this hotel at the drop of a hat. If we return to Rome in the future, there would simply be nowhere else we would want to stay.

The staff are pleasant, very helpful and all have a very good level of English. The hotel itself is an impressive as it’s location from the moment you walk in and the rooms are of an equal high standard. The domestic staff obviously take pride in what they do and ensure your room remains at an excellent standard throughout your stay. The breakfast area has a great selection of food catering to many different tastes and is a very relaxed atmosphere. The Piazza outside the door is filled with visitors to the Pantheon but as soon as you are within the hotel, the hustle and bustle remains outside.
