The most wonderful Weekend! The experience at the Hotel de la Ville was just delightful from the beginning to the end. Every detail was pure perfection and my friends and I had the most wonderful time. I came here for lunch with my girlfriend and was beyond ecstatic and pleased with the perfect service and experience here. The staff were such beautiful people who were helpful, kind, conversated and made such an effort. The food was the BEST I have eaten anywhere in the world I've eaten thus far, particularly the lobster. IF you want quality food, service, atmosphere and stunning interior, this is a MUST in Rome !

I would not stay any where else in Rome. Beautiful hotel, wonderful location, very attentive staff. I stayed for three nights and left to meet friends in another hotel. The other hotel was not a fit, and the de la Ville quickly made rooms available for us. They took such good care of me and my family. This is my new home away from home.

Stayed 5 nights here and I will never stay at another hotel in Rome. From start to finish this hotel exceeded my expectations. Every single working member of this hotel from the front door, to the check in, the maid service, to the servers working hard all day - deserve a round of applause a thousand times over. I’ve stayed at other 5 star hotels, and I’ve never encountered friendlier staff. I hope this business treats them well! They are all fantastic and I’m so excited to come back just for the people! But yeah… the hotel is pretty nice too 😅 still trying to convince my partner to move us in for good.

Just returned home following a wonderful stay at the Hotel de la Ville. The hotel and rooms are absolutely beautiful. Our room was wonderfully decorated, luxurious in all aspects and yet extremely comfortable. I have to say though that the level of service was exceptional. Everyone so friendly and helpful, with particular mention to Angelica who took time out from reception to show us our rooms, and then specifically Laura and all her colleagues at Concierge who were incredibly helpful and supportive with any request we might have had - so grateful for that quality of Concierge service. The location is also spectacular- at the top of the Spanish Steps with wonderful views of Rome, which can be experienced from the lovely Cielo rooftop bar. This hotel must be the finest In Rome - perfect place, location and service !

The hotel de la Ville is a lovely hotel boasting a perfect location. But what makes it truly great, is its staff who arre ever present, helpful, eager to please, and seemingly always in a good mood; it is impossible to not feel good there. And the food and drinks (and views) at Cielo are unbelievable.

Just returned from Rome and the Hotel de la ville. Room quality is high, we had a room that opened to a courtyard. The roof deck is a great spot to grab a drink or light dinner with views of Rome. Reservation recommended-This hotel is located within a minute to the Spanish Steps and courtyard.

The hotel location, the room and the restaurant were fantastic; however, what truly makes Hotel de la Ville stand-out is their magnificent staff. From housekeeping, to every person in the restaurant, they all truly go above and beyond to provide the best level of service.

Upon arrival they unfortunately gave us the wrong room, and everything was absolutely dirty and disgusting. They moved us to our correct rooms which were nice. But we got the big ones, the normal rooms were small with barely any space.

Beautiful hotel located in a super position. The view of Rome from the terraces is spectular. The staff was very gentle and very professional. I've really appreciated spending time there. I definetely recommend it.

Outstanding stay in Rome My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our two nights. Our stay was truely exceptional just from the begining. To start we had a great bar experience at Cielo on the rooftop, then we enjoyed our exquisite dinner on the rooftop terrace of the hotel, and two wonderful breakfast in that beautiful courtyard. We would like to express our gratitude for this amazing experience during our stay and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to Rome.

My experience at the Rome Rocco Forte Hotel's terrace was a complete disaster. I made the mistake of ordering their 18 euro pizzetta, which turned out to be a tasteless, rock-hard disappointment. It looked like it had been sitting in a vending machine for days. The fact that they charge such an exorbitant price for this abysmal excuse for food is a joke. Save your money and your taste buds – avoid this place at all costs.

I wanted to leave a review to ensure the team at this hotel received credit for a great job. We had an issue with the tub being broken in the room and service upon arrival that made my mother pretty upset. Agatha and Frederico were quick to address the issues and went above and beyond to make us happy, comfortable and make up for the problems. The rest of our stay was perfect and amazing. Thank you to Agatha and Frederico and the entire team at this hotel for an amazing stay.
