Hotel near Roma Trastevere train station is recommended. Because there is a good time connection between the train station and Fiumicino Airport (platform 5). Of course the roofing on tracks 4/5 should be extended, standing in the sun in the heat is brutal. Other tracks have the long roof.

Great station. You can take trains to mani places. Bathrooms by €1. Good anticovid measures. At these moment some repairs are being made. Including some elevators. Follow me in my instagram: @enfokados.

It’s a small train station with everything you need. There are ticket window, ticket boxes, restroom for 1 Euro (not really clean), some caffe shop. You can easy get to/from the airport Fiumicino and the center of the city.

Old train station that witnessed some renovation especially adding a decent bus stops in front of the entrance. Delays are not properly displayed and announced on the display screens and monitors. A busy station and very crowded during rush and peak hours. It connects you to Fiumicino Airport in addition to Termini which serves as a trains hub that connects you with trains in Rome and those that travel to major cities in Italy. Also trastevere station has a nice coffee bar and a pharmacy. In addition to vending machines on the platform. I use the station daily since 2022 and didn't witness and theft incidents. On the other hand there are a few beggars and homeless people who sometimes sleep inside the station's hall, corridors and sidewalk (pavement).

It’s a very oldest train station in Rome. Now it’s looks very nice, because this year it’s modified for Bus station.

Train did not show up. No information about why it was late. Only in Spanish. No information in English. We were on the way to the airport. We eventually had to take taxis. People were arguing for taxis. Very stressful and no guidance or information even if there was a strike.

👍👍 If you are an average traveller to Rome, chances are you will use Roma Termini somehow. Many buses come here. Get your train tickets days or weeks earlier online to avoid massive panic and inflated prices. It's much better now they sectioned off the platforms so only ticket holders can access. No mo...

😠 How is it possible that in the place where people usually wait for the trains with heavy bags, there is no place to sit… not a single bench. There is so much empty space and there are millions of stairs but not a single bench? To reach all the bathrooms you need to go through multiple stairs, just t...

😐 Station with frequent train services (only below Ciampino where, however, it is impossible to park). There are 2 tracks. Parking outside the station is free, and you can park in the surrounding streets. The only big problem is that THERE IS NO TICKET OFFICE! Only bar that sells tickets is a 15 minut...
