Awful morning today with Enjoy Rome. We paid for a 3 hr guided tour at 10.25am. Did not start or even get organised till 11am. All the customers were annoyed. No concern for kids in the heat waiting. We paid for a 20 people guided tour. There were over 30 people. We paid for the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine hill and Arena. The tour was over in less than 2 hours and we were never taken to the Palatine hill. We questioned this several times with the guide and all she said was contact the company. Total scam and waste of money. Please book with someone else. Not just us, several customers were irate and saying "zero stars". Save your money and avoid this company.

The explanation of the Sistine Chapel and the tour of the Basilica were terrific. Although we had an excellent guide, Marina, she did not take us to see any paintings In the Vatican Museum. We only saw statues, maps and tapestries. Where were the fabulous Raphael rooms, the Caravaggio’s etc... so disappointed that they were not part of the tour. At the very least we should have been told upfront and given the opportunity to go back at the end of the tour to see them on our own Perhaps you can explain to me why they were not included. i feel we missed what the Vatican Museum is known for,Thank you.

Visiting the Vatican is a must-do for any tourist in Rome. But with thousands of visitors each day, I would not recommend doing so without an experienced and helpful tour guide like Alma. Alma expertly helped us navigate the crowds, using wait time as an opportunity to share tons of information about the Sistine Chapel, Michaelangelo's process, and more recent events at the Vatican. She has incredible patience, and it is clear that she really cares about making the experience as enjoyable as possible for her group. Even though we were her second tour of the day, Alma kept the group engaged as her passion for the topic came through in each story she shared. Even when the enormous crowds (we attended the first Saturday in July) delayed the group's progress, Alma continued after the tour's end to share additional information about the Basilica and several of the Popes within. Thanks again, Alma! I recommend requesting Alma as a guide for anyone who visits the Vatican.

Context: Booked a tour of Vatican Museum, Sistene Chapel and St Peter's Basilica. A million companies offering "skip the line" tickets and not clear how to pick between them. Note: Difficult to separate the experience of the company from the experience of the places toured. Positives: 1. Knowledgeable, friendly host. 2. Moved through the museum in reasonable time. Negatives: 1. It was unclear how to check in, where to wait after checking in and whether our host would find us. No clear queue inside then just given a coloured sticker and told to wait on pavement with 50 to 100 people wearing a variety of stickers. 2. It was 40+ minutes from checking in until museum entry. Was this quicker than being in the line?3. The host was very quiet. No microphone until well in to the museum and the sound on the one-eared speakers was poor: quiet and crackly. Saw other tours that had two-rated headphones before arrival so sound better and host can give info during the wait. 4. Museum was horribly busy. Group was big (25 people) so often for too spread out to hear. 5. Entry into St Peter's Basilica but no tour, and tickets for dome were separate. Conclusion: Would feel more comfortable going a second time.

We had a wonderful experience at the Colosseum and Palatine hills with “Enjoy Rome” - a great informative walk through Roman history. A well-planned tour, and everything was executed on time. So, it was fun. We also did the Skip-the-Line tour of the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel & St. Peter’s Basilica with them. That was also great fun. I highly recommend both tours. P.S. This tour involves long walks and climbing stairs. So wear comfortable clothes and be ready. This is also mentioned on their website!

Easy to navigate the set up of your tour and where to go. Tour guide was amazing and knowledgeable. Felt like I got to see as much as is possible with the time given as you’d need over a week to see everything in Vatican City. But the tour was amazing. Lots of walking so take that into consideration. But really good. Really fast and easy.

I had a wonderful experience with Enjoy Rome especially with my lovely tour guide - Laura, who is very knowledgeable about the history of the venue and explained every single details of it to us. I definitely enjoyed the session as I finally get to submerge myself in the great hall of the Roman history physically but not from the textbook.

Total SCAM!! They’ll sell you a skip the line ticket for 1.5 times more than the original for no extra service. All they do is buying you the ticket so you dont wait in the line, but instead you have to wait in their office than in the reception of the museum. Complete rip off! Don’t buy their tours!

It was worth EVERY cent. Our tour guide "mama" Marsia was one of the greatest legends I have ever met and most definitely the highlight of the trip (we did the whole of Rome). Her knowledge and humour brought the whole experience to life! She should open a school to teach tour guides how its done!

We had a great Vatican experience with our tour guide Antonio today - He's punctual, humourous, attentive and speaks good English. A big thank you and would definitely recommend him to other English speaking tourists!

Book direct with venues where you can. This company makes you wait around to take you in as a group. They try and upsell everything to guided tours and are very unhelpful. Nowhere on website does it say you can’t pick up tickets before. Got to my meeting point early to try and pick up tickets to walk around before entering Vatican only to have to wait best part of an hour to get in. Waste of my time on holiday. Unhelpful and rude staff.

The tour started early at 8am but the size of crowds in the Vatican are much smaller than at noon. It although means that you have a little more room to take pictures (in the areas where it is not prohibited) and take a little more time to look at the items. We loved all the information and explanations we got from Paoula our tour guide.

I was really looking forward to my tour of the Colosseum today. I arrived at the designated area before the recommended time. Once I spotted the flag I proceeded to walk up to the person and show my booking confirmation, only to be told that they had no spots left. This person gave me no help or solution to the issue. They disregarded me and said “this is not my problem”. I’m not an unreasonable person but, I feel this is absolutely unacceptable as I had paid for the tour and received a confirmation. If they had treated me with some respect and been helpful, I would have happily accepted another slot or time. Pretty unfortunate as I’m only in Rome for short amount of time and I’ve wasted the afternoon dealing with this issue, which really shouldn’t be one in the first place. I hope this review helps people deciding on who to pick for tours in Rome as this sort of unreliability is not worth it when you’re travelling.

I have Vatican tour. My guide was Ian. He was very helpful, kind and knowledgeable. He took care of the group all the time! But for me the price is very high.

Bought tickets off getyourguide and visited them to collect the tickets. They did try to reschedule my time but since i refused they did go through with the original booking. Led us all the way into the entry point of the Vatican museum. The staff are friendly and it's a trustworthy place to get your tickets and guide.

We booked an english speaking tour and our guide was very hard to understand, felt like every second word was Italian making it super confusing and hard to follow (I know its impressive to speak multiple languages, but when booking an english speaking tour you expect to understand the person). It also didn’t feel like the tour had any structure, our guide just told us random stories that didn’t really make any sense. We also did a lot of waiting around / time stretching before evening getting started. Personally I wish we has just bought tickets and done it ourselves/ got an audio guide inside (considering how expensive the tour was as-well). I am sure our guide was doing their best in the situation, I just wouldn’t recommend from my experience :)

Excellent tour provider, great set up in office, staff were very good. We did Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel and St Peters (skip the line). Was excellent, very interesting and knowledgeable guide (Ian). Really recommend this tour if you are pressed for time, want to see all the best bits and definitely if you dont want to queue. Great value as well.

Olha (her actual Ukranian name), or Olga (if you have trouble pronouncing it) was awesome for the Sistine Chapel/Vatican tour on Tuesday April 18, 2023 at 11:30 am. The tour ended around 2:15 pm at the front of St Peter's basilica. Although I was a little nervous at the beginning of the tour because there were no radios, Olha did a great job. Remember to go up to the dome (mosaic ceiling and roof are separate) after your tour (ticket line is to the right when you exit the basilica). I got an audio guide on the second floor (I think €12?) in addition to Olga's commentary. It was nice for the Sistine Chapel (you hold it to your ear like a phone) as you can't take photos, or talk inside.

This tour operator are having people who are a bunch of thieves and cheaters, we reached the booking office well before our time for Vatican tour, but after reaching there they said that the tour had already left even before the scheduled time and nothing can be done now. The same thing happened with other guests too, moreover the only option they gave us was that to book another tour by paying the whole fees. We really felt cheated as they didn't even listen to us and told us to leave the office if you don't want to book another tour. No refund was given whatsoever and we wasted our money and the whole day. DON'T BOOK TOURS VIA THIS TOUR OPERATOR. THEY ARE FRAUD.

Worst tour ever for colosseum. The tour was booked for three hours and guide wasted most of the time outside colosseum. The tour was suppose to end at 5:00 pm and we entered colosseum at 4:45 pm and tour ended at 5:05 PM. The guide lady was so monotonous with her voice with no energy. She was not even looking at the audience, instead just walking by herself and group of 43 people walking behind her. I had a feeling of audio guide at one point where she was walking and talking to herself. Many people left the tour in between. I even called the company to change the guide, but nothing happened. Please be careful while booking tour with them. They might waste your whole day with a no good guide.

The tour we took to Vatican City was very handy, in addition to being reasonably priced. All of the main attractions were included in the all-inclusive ticket package, which saved us money and time. We were able to concentrate on the spectacular awe of the Vatican because the entire trip went well because we skipped the lines. This is a must-try for anybody trying to find a quick and economical way to see this ancient city.

I booked a walking tour of Rome with Enjoy Rome and it was a great way to see the city and learn about its history. Our guide was very knowledgeable and she made the tour come alive. She took us to some of the most important historical sites in Rome, and she told us fascinating stories about the city. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn more about Rome.

I booked a food tour with Enjoy Rome and it was one of the best decisions I made during my trip to Italy. Our guide, Antonio, was a wealth of knowledge about Roman food and culture. He took us to some amazing restaurants and we tried some of the most delicious food I've ever had. We also learned a lot about the history of Roman food and how it has evolved over the centuries. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves food and wants to learn more about Roman cuisine.

I booked a private tour of the Vatican with Enjoy Rome and it was the perfect way to see the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. Our guide was very knowledgeable and he made sure that we saw all of the highlights. We even got to skip the line, which was a huge bonus. I would highly recommend Enjoy Rome to anyone who wants to see the Vatican without the crowds.

Our wonderful guide and easy ticket handling made the Colosseum tour an amazing experience. We were able to make the most of our time without having to wait in long lines thanks to the guide's expertise and the smooth ticketing process. I totally recommend this tour for a hassle-free, informative visit!

Our trip to Vatican City exceeded all of our expectations and was an experience full of amazing sights. It was a pleasure to discover the Vatican's distinct allure and splendour, and the tickets we got made sure we didn't miss anything. It was a journey well worth the time.

We are not happy with the service that we have received. The tour should have taken 2,5 - 3 hours and within that time we have only made it through the Vatican museum and haven’t seen anything of the Sixtine Chapel at all so far. That was more a self-service at the end. We have also booked the tour to the St. Peters which was included in our ticket but cancelled due to the delay without a refund. This was not a good customer experience.

Got a chance to take the Roman Forum/Colosseum tour today with Maria Assunta. She was extremely informative throughout the whole tour and answered all questions the group had. My fiancée and I had a wonderful time learning all the in’s and outs of the colosseum and every piece of Roman heritage. Would highly recommend this tour!!! Thanks again Maria

We had to wait so long just to get skip the line tickets, which you normally could get online much faster and much easier.

  • 1/5 Nico S. 2 years ago on Google
Booked Skip-the-line-ticket online, completly useless. You have to go their office first and wait - unfriendly customer service, indians in front of office work together with inside to sell you scarf which they say u cannot enter without...dont buy, cannot recommend this agency.

We had a wonderful tour with the incredibly knowledgeable Davide. He was very accommodating of the wide range of people in the group and ensured all were engaged for the entire duration. Starting at 10am we were able to skip the line and were inside the Vatican shortly after leaving the rendezvous point. I would highly recommend to anyone interested in visiting this wonderful city!!

We had a wonderful tour to the Coliseum. The guide Laura Antonucci was really nice and professional, very attentive to all details. She delivered a full history class of not only the Coliseum itself but from the foundation of Rome to what it is today. We definitely recommend them.

We took the day trip to Tivoli and it was not a good experience. The tour guide was very rude and had attitude. Also he was difficult to understand and did not say much. I am so used to going on tours having learned about what we saw but with this tour I could not tell you anything because it was such a poor tour. Also the driver drove very fast and recklessly. The price for what we got seemed exorbitant. All in all I would never take a tour with this company again. There are so many other good tour companies out there. Don't waste your time and money.

We pre-booked the Enjoy Rome Pompeii Shuttle tour for our one day trip away from Rome. It did not disappoint! It was a little confusing to find the pick up location - it’s not clearly marked, so just look for other passengers - but the ride was very comfortable. Our bus guide was Claudia who provided helpful tips for navigating Pompeii along the way and a little history about the scenery, but not so much that we couldn’t sit back and enjoy the ride. Upon arrival, she provided each of us a detailed map, her phone number, and clear directions about where to meet for the return trip. We had another very knowledgeable guide (unfortunately I don’t remember his name) for the first two hours of our visit to the actual site, which I highly recommend. Pompeii is a bit of a madhouse and there aren’t clear labels or descriptions for most of it, so we would have missed out on a lot of the interesting details of the place without a guide. There is still plenty of time at the end of the tour for exploring and grabbing a bit of lunch (about 2 additional hours). Overall it was an incredible experience, even though it was very very hot. Wear loose, light clothing, bring a hat or umbrella, and lots of water for a more comfortable visit.

Thank you for an amazing tour! I'm not much of a fan of tours really as they look like hassle and sometimes boring but I didn't realize I had booked a tour - thought it was just skip the queue! However was blown away, so interesting and I never would have discovered all the knowledge without our amazing guide Davide. Even kids enjoyed aged 12 and 16. Davide is so knowledgeable, funny and knew exactly where to go to avoid most crowds etc - highly recommend.

I would really recommend everyone who visits Rome to book the Vatican tour with the company 'Enjoy Rome'. Our guide, Alma Ndoi, was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Flexible and always particular about us getting the best experience as possible. A guided tour is definitely recommended here, despite the area getting very crowded we didn't have to waste any time in the long queues, we just skipped them. The Vatican Tour is a must when in Rome and make sure you get Alma as your guide.

I was a bit hesitant to book a tour with Enjoy Rome because the prices were a bit higher than some of the other companies I had looked at. However, I'm so glad I did! Our guide, Maria, was absolutely amazing. She was so knowledgeable about Rome and its history, and she made the tour come alive. She was also very friendly and accommodating, and she made sure that we had a great time. I would definitely recommend Enjoy Rome to anyone visiting Rome, especially if you're looking for a tour with a knowledgeable and friendly guide.

Vatican City blew me away! Our guide, Sofia, made history fun with her humor and insights. The ticketing was a breeze, and skipping lines felt like being a VIP at an art and history party. Highly recommend for an unforgettable experience!

Grazie mille Laura, what a burst of enthusiasm and unique insights. Laura knows how to captivate you and even our teenage son who finds many things in life “boring”. Visiting the Vatican Museum and getting to understand the history by small details, made it really easy to get a glimpse into the long history of the Vatican, Rome and Italy. The anecdotes about Michelangelo made this trip so much worth. Also practically it was great, no pressure, clear when and where and how the tour would be. The 3 hours went past in a breeze. Grazie Laura Antonucci
