I truly had a great walk filled with interesting information about Rome. Our smart and amazing tour guide Marcello took us to so many places and gave us in- depth information about every place we went to. As well has connected it to other places around Rome and gave us great tips and hints for when we visited other places (like the Vatican). Even after the tour he was super helpful! (Saw us on the road figuring our a problem and did his best to solve it). Marcello is a MUST try when you want to do a guided walking tour in Rome! Be ready to get a good walk in so you can get to see a lot with him, because you definitely will!

Fantastic Experience! Must book! I booked: Private Tour of the Colleseum, Palantine Hill and the Roman Forum- through the Viator website. My tour guide was named Marcello and he was incredibly knowledgeable on the intricate details of the anchient history of Rome and was truly charismatic in his delivery, making it the most interesting tour I have ever experienced. (My friend is an English teacher and I am a tough crititc as a perpetual luxury traveller). I recommend that you don't even think about visiting this site without a private tour. Its well worth the money and you will walk away feeling like you now have a piece of history engrained in your brain, making the ruins so much more than old pieces of rock where Gladiators once fought- it's truly more than that! Side note: Before the tour began there was a hiccup with the schedule (COVID complication). Francesco went out of his way to adjust and customise the experience for me by doubling our time with the guide and starting it a day earlier (which was actually within 2hrs of making the booking). On top of this he offered to further discount our ticket price which I declined as my experience was truly impressive from start to finish and even now their genuine intentions will resonate into the future. Overall these guys are above and beyond and you should look no further!! Bravo!!

Marcello was awesome! Very knowledgeable of the history of ancient rome and full of energy! The tour takes about 2 hours and gives you a good understanding of how rome was built from the start. I would recommend you fo this on your first day visiting the city so you get a good grasp of the history which will make visiting all the major attractions much more interesting.

One of my dreams was to be able to visit Rome and during decades I followed Roman history due to how the shape the world culture and at one point I felt that I could visit all this places on my own be the a good friend of my told me if u wanna do it right go guided because local stories can only be found right in there, and so I looked at several agencies and their website but I really like the idea of this company, very simple but like they said "to make this experience one of the greatest times of your life" I thought why not give them a try and I was very, very pleased with everything they did from the very beginning until the end, I got no words to thank em for such a beautiful moment in our lives and on top of that the even took me on a walking tour in the city as a courtesy and that's why I took the time to write all this down, is because they really deserve it, the best tour you can do in the Colosseum and best tour in Rome by far.

We had a great time on the Rome walking tour with Marcello. We have done a couple different walking tours in different cities and have always enjoyed them, but Marcello set this one apart from the rest. His knowledge, attention to detail, the way he tells the many interlinking stories of Rome through the ages and humour made this walking tour the best we've done.
