Al-zahrà Arabian Food

Restaurant Moroccan restaurant

👍👍 It was one of the first times we tried Arabian food and absolutely loved it! The crepe was quite large and filled with a slightly spicey meat. The lamb was cooked perfectly and fell off the bone. Even with the high quality food, everything was quite affordable. Would very much recommend stopping her... People often mention delicious, nice, staff, recommend, good, Ronda, super,

Our first experience with Arabian food was u forgettable. The juices (not shown) are large and fresh The ensalada Marroqui was an entree size portion of delicious vegetables. Lastly, the vegetarian couscous tajin was so fresh and flavorful. A great break from tapas

**** Food was good but not the best Moroccan I have ever been. We asked for Lamb Tajine but the meat was definetely not lamb perhaps veal. The side pitabread could have been better. Moroccan salad was quite nice and the soup was also exotic. **** Neutral faced waitress though the place is pretty much empty. She was doing her job okay otherwise *** Interior decoration is not very cozy. Too much white light, perhaps candles or oriental lighting with dim and yellow warm colors instead .

Omg. This is such a hidden gem and the best food we had in Spain. (Majorca, Malaga,Ronda,Seville and Barcelona) The waitress was very good and super sweet. Everything we ate was exceptional! Best hummus I have ever had. Kefta was so full of flavor, just mouth watering. The chicken pastry was so unique. I wish one day to return!

Food was excellent. Took pictures of the carrot salad and the vegetable tajin. Was so full I forgot to take pictures of the "Arabica" pancake, which was also very good.

We are vegetarians and always searching for new tastes. This was much better than the veggie burgers which you often find. The staff was really friendly. Try it and you wont be disappointed. There are not many tables so it could be better to make a reservation.

What a fantastic little find this was… the food was to die for! Great ambience and really nice staff. You can’t go wrong if you want delicious Arabic food. Would highly recommend to all.

Their tabouli salad, harira soup, and chicken couscous were delicious. The chicken couscous dishes are meant to be shared, and we both remarked that it was the best tasting dish we’ve had in a while. The service, too, was excellent. We plan to return soon.

As part of my Andalusian cycle tour we always stop here for dinner as the food is made with love and full of flavour. It is amazing how similar ingredients to the Spanish kitchen upgraded with herbs and spices can take you back to the Moorish times. The fruit and veggie juices are as good as the food...

Fast serving and extremely tasty food. Worth going here if you're looking for a good place to eat in Ronda.

Lovely authentic Moroccan/Moorish food which is very on-theme with visiting Ronda. We had chicken skewers which were very flavourful and a pastella with slow-cooked lamb which was sweet and a completely different flavour. Would highly recommend, and also reasonably priced.

A nice little restaurant serving middle eastern food. Went there because of vegan options. There are few, but all very delicious. Pastela was a positive surprise for me. Prices were reasonable and staff very accommodating.

Food was delicious. The waitress was very helpful and very friendly. Had the pastel de pollo and pollo tagine with lemon. Very nice. The pastel was spectacular. The meat was very tender.

PHENOMENAL!! The chicken pastela was unlike anything I’ve had before and blew my mind. Some of the best food we’ve had yet in Spain, and absolutely the best meal in Ronda. We will be back next time!

A lovely place!! The food is delicious and authentic, many options and very special and exotic spices. A lot of the offered dishes are naturally vegan. The staff is super nice and also speaks english.

Clean, extremely friendly even though we didn't speak spanish. Couscous for lunch was a perfect choice and extremely tasty! The bill was also a nice surprise, not expensive at all. 10/10, would recommend

What a great meal! The minute you walk in you are hit with delicious scents of spices. Everything we had was delicious. The hummus was the best we have had. The juices are healthy and refreshing. The lamb pastela was a revelation. Perfectly savory but also sweet. Mind blowing! My husbands tajin was also super flavorful. On top of this, staff were so kind and welcoming. The restaurant was also cool and comfortable. If we lived here this would be on our regular schedule. We hope to return before our trip ends.

Excellent meal, nice and cosy place to hide a way from scorching heat. Great prices and lovely host who makes sure everything is up to your standard. Would come again anytime.

Amazing flavors, great value ($8-9 for a freshly prepared, massive meat filled crepe!) 5 stars, would definitely recommend

We are here in our last night in Ronda and it was wonderful. There is a lot of food and two people can easily share an appetizer and a Tajin if you’re very hungry. Everything was delicious and it was great to hVe something different other than tapas.

Heavenly! That's what my hubby said when we tried their veal and plums tajine. Absolutely a must-try! Attention by the staff super friendly and thei recommendations to go for the house's lemon tea (all natural ingredients), hummus as entry, tajine and lamb pastela as mains was spot on. Love their creativity, even with the way the bill is handed over to the client 😊

👍👍 Possibly my favorite spot i visited in Ronda! Our receptionist recommended this spot as his favorite so we thought to try it out. We had the acorn fed pork which was possibly my favorite food of my entire visit to Ronda, so crispy and tender! We also tried the spinach croquettes which were delicious...
