Very nice campground. It has all you need and it is close to the city. There is also lots of hikes around. Very friendly staff, amazing swimming pool, laundry, quiet at night and good price per night. Very recommended. Thank you.

Nice camping! Reception works well, with friendly and professional staff. Organized and clean facilities. The only less positive point: almost without shade for the tents..But a pretty camping, good quality-price, I recommend.

We stayed for 2 nights in our campervan and the site is great. Staff were lovely and friendly, pitches good size, facilities were good. Location is great...20 minute easy walk into beautiful Ronda. Site was easy to find. You can choose to stay on site or on the parking area which is cheaper and as electric and facilities. Really enjoyed our stay here.

A very well managed site with modern clean shower facillites, some of the best showers we've come across in our time touring Spain. We received a friendly welcome from the reception staff who spoke very good English. The site is conveniently located just 20/30 minute walk from Ronda. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend

What a great place! Beautiful campsite 20 minutes walk from Ronda old town. Very welcoming and helpful host. Even, spacious pitches, nice and clean sanitary facilities. Hot water in showers and for washing dishes. Bread in the morning. Excellent value for money. One of the best campsites, I've been to in Spain. Really recommend!

We stayed at this site in our motorhome. A well thought out and highly maintained park with everything you'll need. Spotlessly clean and modern showers and wash area, launderette with drying area, easy EHU, waste and fresh water. Very large flat gravel stands. Totally safe and secure site. It's a relatively easy 20 minute downhill walk into old town Ronda but of course its uphill coming back. Loredana at the reception is a pure delight with her infectious smile and willingness to please. She seems to speak every language fluently.... whilst waiting to check in I heard her speak French, German, English and of course Spanish. We were allocated a numbered space but she said we could pick any pitch we liked but to let her know which one. If you are visiting Ronda this is the site....it's around €27 inclusive a night but gets cheaper the longer you stay ... not the cheapest but worth it for the pleasant, clean modern facilities. Would highly recommend

We stayed in our motorhome and loved this site. The pitches were ample and level. Electric hook up was on the pitch and toilets, showers were nearby. The toilets and showers were clean and the best I've seen, there were plenty of both. The staff were friendly, helpful and very cheery. We arrived late Christmas Eve and although they were closed, the security guard, took our detail and found us a pitch. We stayed two nights and were able to walk into Old Ronda and take in the fantastic sights. Fully recommend this site. Thank you to the staff.

Great camping ground with spacious lots and lots of things to do. You can play Minigolf, table tennis, chess there's two playgrounds and you can go to the pool. The amenities are clean and spaceus and the staff is friendly, apart from the waiter in the restaurant he was very unfriendly, banging my crumbled recipe in front of me after me asking for it and waiting 20 mins for it. The food there was great though. Wifi is free, however you might not want to use it since it is extremely slow. Would come again.

Made a last minute decision to come into the campsite with our camper at 19:30 telling the woman at the reception we need 3 things - quiet - shower -wifi We got a spot for 45e for a family of 6. The most we paid in 4 weeks in Spain. So expectations were high It was quite. The fact that my wife did not sleep because of a crying baby all night could happen in any camping Shower was ok. Clean. But the water was hit and miss. Hot water changed often depending on other users near you Wifi - there was none. Nada. It was really important to us that evening. But it did not work. When I complained at the reception in the morning the reply was that they use satellite wifi and sometimes it does not work. Too bad this was one of the main reasones entered. Apart from that seems like a nice place with activities. But we did not need or use them...

Stayed there middle of May for two nights without reservation, easy check in upon arrival. One of the nicest sites we had been so far, somehow rural but super clean and well maintained. walking to Ronda (about 30mins), or by bike (15mins) is easy, just down the road. Restaurant was also good. Certainly a place we would recommend.

Very nice camping, owners are exceptionally friendly and helpful! Also there are artworks around the camping which makes it a bit special. The pitches are large and flat, the facilities are good and clean. And the bread in the morning is delicious. I definitely recommend this place!

Modern and well organised. Very friendly multi lingual lady in reception. Excellent but not cheap restaurant. For us, it was lacking in atmosphere and felt like a huge car park. Nobody’s fault. But toilets and showers great.

I had very bad experience with the personnel of the camping. Arrogant, unprofessional and impolite when it comes to customer service. Not speaking English. After checking with the personnel if it was possible to do the check in after 22:00, their response was that there was no problem and that a security guard would be waiting with the keys of the bungalow. When arriving, the security guard (not speaking English) asks to retain passport, ID card or driving license which is totally illegal. In the end we provide the health insurance ID with personal data. The following morning we complain about this kind of behaviour and the process in place (retaining ID, passports and personal official documents). The owner of the property clearly states in a very bad manner: "This is how it works in Spain and how we do it here in the camping". After this response we are surprised about the arrogance and they lied thinking that because of foreigner people we are stupid. We suggest that instead, they could just take a picture of the ID/passport or make a copy of it as it is done in all hotels, hostels, campings and any other touristic properties in Spain. Retaining personal documentation of a citizen is totally illegal and a crime. We do not recommend staying in this camping! Worst touristic experience of our life!

We stayed in tent here for 3 nights instead of just 1 we planned. Everything was excelent - facilities were clean, comfortable, we had a spectacular view of the city of Ronda which is only 20 min walk away, surroundings is beautiful. Many thanks to a very friendly reception lady. 🙂

A fantastic camping site ( we have a caravan), lovely pitches and attentive staff. Ideally located on the outskirts of Ronda. A short walk into the town, and short drives to some incredible hiking trails!

Appreciated the free mini golf and ping pong. Great facilities. Fantastic for children. Very friendly staff. We Will return.

Very nice and clean camping. You can choose if you want to use the the camping plot and all the amenities incl. swimming pool for full price or only the parking area next to camping at lower rate. The restaurant at the camping serves delicious local food. Wonderful Ronda city is within walking distance.

Seriously good camping, not too big, good sized plots, and all facilities very good - toilets (paper), hot showers, nice basins (soap and hand dryer).Full camper facilities very nicely done regarding grey water, potable refill, toilet waste. Very friendly reception and €25 per night in winter after a little negotiation. Roughly 30 minutes walk to Ronda down a gentle gradient, which seemed steeper coming back after a long day. Simple supermarket 20 minutes walk, bigger ones the other side of Ronda. Th town is well worth a visit, especially the spectacular bridges and gorges.

Staying at Camping El Sur is a delightful experience. The staff is very friendly and makes the visitors feel at home. The spots are big enough to fit caravans, motorhomes and RVs. The service area has all the needed resources, like fresh water and drainage of grey and black water. The proximity of Ronda town center makes it an even better choice to spend a few days visiting this area.
