This is my first time writing a review. It was a very bad experience with dirty tables and cutlery (there was even a body hair on the food from who knows whose body!) . The prices were also rather expensive and cold attitude of the waiters!! Nothing but atmosphere! Not recommended at all!!

The restaurant is really bad, don’t eat here. There are much better places near this.

Don’t go to this restaurant! The food is not good and doesn’t looks like the pictures. We ordered a fish soup that didn’t looks like a soup but more water with vegetables. And then we ordered sea bream and lamb chop. I don’t have words to describe what we got, just look the picture it will be enough to understand…

Went there this week and made the mistake of not reading reviews beforehand. This was the most disgusting food I ever had in Spain. We ordered the Special Menu of the Day, the normal Menu of the Day, and something from their normal menu, and literally EVERYTHING was bad. The food tasted old, the fries were drenched in oil, the meat was dry and overcooked, and the dessert tasted like it was opened 3 months and left out. Don't recommend this place at all! I would give 0 stars if it would be possible.

Lunch: gazpacho soup was weak and could mostly taste water and onion. Chorizo in red wine, zero red wine flavours and not great chorizo. Mushrooms Ronda: doused in oil, only flavour was after we added plenty salt and pepper. Olives were out a pre-made jar probably bought at a supermarket, I think judging by brine and overall taste. There's a McDonald's 5 meters around the corner, that'd be better, and I haven't been at a McDonald's in over a decade! Pictures are close to us being finished.

This restaurant is ideally located next to the famous bullfight arena in Ronda. Its in a nice shaded narrow street lined with other restaurants.. The menu is clearly for the tourists and packed with wonderful Spanish favourites such as Pizza, Spaghetti .....no I am a having a laugh. While they do offer theses Italian mainstays, they also offer Paellas, Tapas and other delights. The staff were prompt and courteous. The mixed salad was very good with a nice variety of items. I did crave a pizza since it was months since I had one. I was not disappointed. It was crisp crust and just the right amount of toppings. The Gazpacho soup was excellent and a nice starter on the warm day. I highly recommend a list if you are looking for a spot to cool off and enjoy a meal close to the Bull Ring.

We ate at the restaurant that is part of the hotel I think as the restaurant is just next door and also called Don Javier. The food was terrible pre cooked and microwaved vegetable from the supermarket ox tail floating in a bath of grease. The wife's sword fish was the worst she had ever eaten and she is Spanish. Avoid at all costs. They have terrible reviews since 2019 and are still the same same just taking tourists for a ride. Gordon Ransey would love this place.

Really enjoyed our visit to Ronda overall and having lunch here topped it off. When we arrived there was only 1 other table however an hour later there was no tables free (around 14 00) so plan your stop carefully and try avoid lunch hour rush. Now to the food.. It was REALLY nice. Cooked to perfection all round. A friend had the fish which did have a lot of bones in which is sort of to be expected with fish. I had the Ronda dish which came with a few different meats and it's a really great way to try a few things in one go. Servers are friendly and can get very busy so it can be difficult to catch their attention at times. Very nice atmosphere and I heard there's free wifi so you can update your family with pictures of the nearby Puerto Nuevo Bridge while catching your breath.

The restaurant was awfull, it seemed like everything was preheated in the microwave. The spaghetti Napolitana was bad, the wine was overpriced. The chicken was all right, but the fries were cold and not flavoured at all. The staff was friendly and that’s the only reason why they deserve their second star.

Poor food comparing to others restaurants. And high prices. Not recommended.

I rarely write reviews, but this was a terrible meal. Service was rushed and cold, wine was the worst I’ve had in Spain, and the food was bland. Do not eat here!

I stayed just one night at the hotel. It's worth 3* with flying colours! Very nice hotel, almost like a "boutique" place; rooms are large and cosy, and the interiors are just like a fairy tale - fantastic! The location is "write there": if you are in Ronda for the right reasons then you'll have all of them in ~100m from your accommodation if you stay at this hotel. NOTE: The entrance to the hotel /the Reception is from a small alley, parallel with the main street. (Alternatively, go to the Restaurant from the main street and get to the back of it). Parking is available nearby - ask the front desk about it.

The food quality is awful. The red wine we got was fully a vinegar. It is not even worth a single Euro. Avoid at all costs.

I can solely review the Restaurant. Quite stylush and vibrant, just within the city center. The suckling piglet was a signature, though a bit dry, while the Sangria was one of kind, benchmark to all the rest. Service was a bit unpleasant, with some expressions of inpoliteness. Generally a good Restaurant.

We really enjoyed it, lovely restaurant, nice staff and delicious food! I recomend the gaspacho soup, it's very very tasty. Hint: try the menu of the day

Looked pretty cozy. Rather bad food. They ran out of bolognese pasta. And the « daily menu » which they had a big poster mounted on each side of the restaurant is not valid anymore. I had pasta napoletana and it was pretty darn mid was like pasta with some ketchup and cheese mysteriously melted into it. Didn’t taste special at all. No vegetables, no spices, nothing. 3 mere ingredients (Cmon bro). The best thing about our meal was the water. The price isn’t worth the food. Staff was neutralized. Fresh frozen hihi

👍👍 Possibly my favorite spot i visited in Ronda! Our receptionist recommended this spot as his favorite so we thought to try it out. We had the acorn fed pork which was possibly my favorite food of my entire visit to Ronda, so crispy and tender! We also tried the spinach croquettes which were delicious...
