La Barrafina is amazing! We happened upon this place while on a walk and are so glad we did. This was our favorite meal during our entire trip - and we ate in several well known places. In addition to incredible food, the entire team was welcoming and kind. We were fortunate to have time to eat here twice and both experiences were incredible. The pulpo was one of my favorites ever! We look forward to coming back the next time we are in Spain.

Loved this place. Absolutely delicious food and top service. We visited twice during our 4 night stay in Ronda. We shared a number of dishes on both visits. The Cantabrian anchovies with butter and peppers served from the tin with crunchy crackers were excellent. Rich butter and the best quality anchovies. We repeated these on the second visit. The foie gras and Goats cheese mille feuille is caramelised at the table super crispy top and tasty. The octopus leg is immense. The cloche is removed at the table with the smoke bellowing out.. which gives this dish a fantastic smokey flavour. There's Chipotle chilli, and the octopus is perfectly cooked.. soft with a little resistance on cutting and excellently charred. We repeated this dish on the 2nd visit. Next up, Cow Tataki. Seared/caramelised on the outside and perfect rareness in the middle. Excellent flavour and melted in your mouth. Another repeated dish second time round. Dessert had to be done. The baked cheesecake was very nice.. sadly, they were out of the nougat ice cream and chocolate cookie. We had the Tuna carpaccio with wasabi on the 2nd visit. Delicious. Good choice of wines. The Bad Man Chardonnay was very drinkable, and they make a great Aperol spritz. There is plenty of choice on the menu and a list of changing specials. Excellent dishes to share. Jonquil was very welcoming and looked after us very well, and Kiko the chef is absolutely brilliant. We were extremely grateful for the chestnut creme brulee and Piamater Moscatel. A perfect end to our time with you. 🙂 We thank you both for 2 excellent dinners whilst in Ronda and wish you every success you deserve it.

On our holidays we stayed in Ronda for a few nights and coincidentally passed LaBarrafina for a short Lunch break. The sandwiches and breads they offered were outstanding. Perfectly balanced and made with attention to every detail. That lead us to visit again the day after in the evening. Kiko's cooking and the Service of Joaquin were awesome. The best food we had in the Region of Málaga so far. Not sure why this Restaurant was nearly empty that evening. Definitely worth a visit (or even more). Thank you!

This place is a hidden gem! Amazing food, beautiful cozy place with exceptional service. Joaquin (the server) and Quico (the chef) and the owner were all super funny, friendly and gave us an amazing time. Highly recommended and we will absolutely go back whenever we’re back in south Spain again

Incredible food and service! THE BEST PASTRAMI SANDWICHES OUTSIDE OF NEW YORK! Plenty of seating outside in the shade and inside. The menu is great and you are spoilt for choice between the octopus, turbot, wagyu beef, sandwiches and so much more! Excellent value!!! A must visit when in Ronda!

We were actually just looking for a place to have a refreshing drink and continue our walk, but ended up having a small bite. The one dish we had was absolutely outstanding, and got us to make dinner reservations on the spot.

We spent a month eating our way across Spain's ubiquitous and almost always delicious tapas bars. Stumbling into LaBarrafina to get out of the rain brought us the best food and the best experience of our whole trip. Magic is produced in that tiny kitchen and the place was super welcoming.
