Everything was great until my sister found a cockroach in her food and unfortunately she had already eaten half of it. The disappointing part is that this matter was just pushed under the carpet has if nothing happened.

Just a quantity hotel that has an amazing restaurant that has fantastic views and a really fantastic food and service. The hotel is comfortable and quiet except on a Sunday when you rudely woken up by a church service @4am that continues throughout...like inside the hotel a huge let down...if management didn't rent out the space to the church the experience would be 100% please management we don't go to a hotel to be woken up by such loud noise that just goes on and on!!!

Wow wow wow! What a hidden gem. Never knew about this place. Date night dining promo was the best value for money. Service is outstanding and rooms were very very clean.

At the restaurant. Food presentation fantastic. Food was delicious, but fillet was served ice cold. Would have been a 4 Stat experience if there where waiters around. Condiment bottle broken by waiter , only replaced end of meal. Up the service waiters need training. Will be back for sure. Food was great 👍

If you planning on staying there and using all the amenities, DO NOT BOOK YOUR STAY if there is a “private function” there. You still pay for the pool etc, but you will be refused from using it and no price reduction will be implemented even though you can’t use the facilities that are factored into the price! So in other words before you book find out if there is a private function otherwise you just wasting money!

A fantastic hotel with good service, great views, and very clean and comfortable. A couple of areas where it could improve would be to not replace barely used soap, shower gel, and towels every day (even when asked not to to try and help the planet) and for some of the staff to smile a little more (although many were incredibly friendly and helpful).

Went to Oko restaurant for my friend's birthday. Service was efficient and friendly. Starters platters were great but we were let down by the mains, they left a lot to be desired.

A nice hotel in a bustling area. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, the staff friendly and the overall process of reserving the room, checking-in and out, were quick and painless. There is a rooftop restaurant and pool. It's a decent spot to grab a sundowner and there is a nearby shopping centre and petrol station where you can grab a bite and basic items.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The view on the rooftop overlooks the house it's such a beautiful view. The food is also amazing.

What a fabulous venue. Great position, safe secure parking, friendly reception and that's just for starters. When i booked i asked for a special table, Wow never expected a private dining suite with such amazing views! Our incredible waiters so professional and attentive. The menu is delightful and varied and the standard of the food was excellent. You cannot fault this restaurant on any level.

Celebrated my birthday here. The spa is nice and the staff is friendly, my mom got a Swedish massage and she said it was relaxing. Oko restaurant is nice and the stuff is helpful. We went with 3 kids under 12 and we didn’t have hustles. The food is nice and they have variety. We had cocktails and meals. Also got complementary champagne and a chocolate muse since it was my birthday. The restaurant has a rooftop view of the neighborhood and there’s a pool. Beautiful place

Didn’t even realize this was a hotel until being invited for dinner there recently (despite driving past it many times. Food was wonderful and the views of Magaliesburg and Johannesburg were amazing from the restaurant level. Heard it was fully booked the night we were there so something good must be happening on the accommodation side too!

What an amazing place the roof top restaurant with the pool is amazing. The food is out of this world and the 360 degree view is stunning, even more so when the sunsets.

Spent New Years Eve here. Service was awesome, atmosphere was good and food just Yummy. Had a really good time. As a follow up to this review - Had a terrible experience when returning last night - 16 June 23 Came to Oka for drink and meal. The singer on June 16th was so loud that you could speak to each other. He also spent more time preaching than singing. Telling you how a tight money is and that you must give him a tip. Then told you free range chickens go to private school. Why could he not just sing a song. He kept saying it was his last song and would never stop and carried on preaching and signing. When we mentioned it was very loud to staff he made a comment thinking we were residents in the hotel and that we were too old and needed to go sleep. A total disgrace!!! Considering I rated you guys 5 stars on New Year’s Eve

We had booked a table to have my brothers and sisters birthday at the restaurant a month in advance. We had called to confirm the reservation the week before when we were told that they had cancelled the booking without any reason. We were then given a private room for the inconvenience. Only on the day of the event we were notified of the late comers penalty fee, which was very unprofessional as some guests had already confirmed during the week that they would be late due to prior arrangements. Upon arrival we were treated very rudely by one of the managers Jethro feeling almost like criminals. Absolutely no respect, I’m very disappointed. The rest of the staff however were very friendly and I give 5/5 stars to them ! :)

Most amazing in the heart of Honeydew. Clean, comfortable with roof deck restaurant and rooftop pool. Perfect for sundowners at the end the day. Friendly staff and just around the corner from Blue berry square where you can grab food, meds, etc.... So after 71 days i stayed at Blueberry Hill Hotel, sadly i had to return back to Ningbo, China where I live. I will sadly miss all but I will be back and I have to thank each and every staff member at Blueberry Hill Hotel for accomodating me and taking care of me during my stay. It was truely a home away from home for me and you guys Rock!!! Thank you Blueberry Hill Hotel. From the security that always greeted me with a smile when i arrived in the evenings and left in the mornings, to the reception staff that went above and beyond their call of duty for me, to the housekeeping staff that made sure my room was always clean and fresh and lastly to the staff at OKO who made sure i got my food order ontime, hot and tasty.

Stunning views - the staff were amazing and catered to a large group. Definitely great for corporate events without the “stuffy” feeling.

My wife and I stayed in the hotel on the 17th July. The price of the room does not justify the quality of our stay. The room that we were allocated had virtually no internet connection. The turndown service did not come. The mini fridge was not stocked and didn't work. There was a loud banging noise from inside the hotel that woke us up which started at 04:30 in the morning and continued until just before 06:00. The experience that we had was disappointing and we do not plan to return.

Went there for late lunch on Friday with colleagues. We love champagne and there was not lot of choices. We orders sea food platters and their rice was very cooked, but the rest was nice. We loved the sunset and deep house music, it was not too loud. 👌. A great place for late lunch on Fridays 📍. Will definitely make it

We had booked out over 20 rooms for my wedding week in Joburg. From the initial communication months prior to our stay, the service my guests and I received was exceptional. We hired the Halo terrace and the views at sunset are absolutely spectacular. A big shout out to Thabile who was just so helpful and executed my plans and ideas perfectly. Without her and her team, it wouldn't have been possible. The food throughout was also so delicious. In summary, the best time and lifelong memories made!

Been there before in mid evenings and had to try during day. Totally loved it as had lots of cocktails by the pool and lunch. Totally going back for sun downers soon.

I went for 2 nights for a quiet weekend away to rest. The 2 nights I was there I hardly slept because of parties and events at the hotel. It was extremely noisy so I did not get to rest. But rooms are nice and food as well.

Very disappointing service! I sent an email to the Manager Ryan to complain, but it's been a week and he has not responded. I called to double check that he is at work and the email address is correct. Complaint: 1. It seems that no one is in charge of the Facebook page or checks Facebook messages at all. I have sent messages from months ago and recently that were only replied to when I emailed now. 2. The staff responsible for emails and Facebook both gave me different information to the question I had about the date plate special you have at Oko. One person told me the special ends at the end of October and the other person told me at the end of December. How do staff who work at the same place, don't know what is going on? Very unprofessional and inefficient! I have stayed here for a work conference last year. We had the best food, drinks, service and a fantastic modern room. If only one on one service would improve!

We went to the Oko restaurant at the top. Food was ok, never had a deep fried eisbein before and was just too overdone for my liking. Place was also extremely noisy. Thought it would be a more romantic restaurant but was very wrong! Food presentation was excellent. Service was good. Just wish we could actually talk to each other as it was just too loud in there.

Great vista, location - did not know this place existed. Food excellent, service great, staff are friendly, thoughtful and kind. There is a restaurant and Butcher that do home deliveries... On our "to do" list. Hotel experience was fantastic and is highly recommended. Thank you Blueberry Hill Hotel staff and chefs.

Been there, done that. Staff was friendly, but the overall feel was not what I expected. The food and drinks were ok but really not anything beter than a normal mom and pops restaurant. Don't think I will do a return.

The Blueberry is an excellent business hotel or even for just relaxing. The staff at reception were polite and welcoming. Rooms are well appointed with convenient amenities. It was clean and prepared upon check-in. A lovely spa is on property and the service is great. We were very impressed with the restaurant. The service was excellent and food good.

I fell in love with the venue from the moment I saw it. I had my 30th birthday party there. It was ABSOLUTELY incredible. Ryan was a star who helped my vision come to life. Thabile was so friendly and helpful. All the waiters were lovely. The food they put together for me and my guests was honestly to die for. The view alone is spectacular. Absolutely wonderful! Modern, comfortable, not-chic but rather more comfortable- modernistic. From the welcome and directions by the parking security (all secure inside the property) to the waiters, it was very warm. The setting is stunning and the rooftop provides a 360degree view of Jhb from a very different position ...just wow! The food was very good (not the cheapest) but the quality and quantity was 'large' with a menu containing a variety that will take me many visits. A positive take-away is that their vegetarian menu has clearly taken thought and creativity and some non-vegetarians in the party were tempted. In all a great evening, wonderful venue - will be back to try some more...

Lovely view for a birthday dinner and that was it. A few drinks "out if stock" on the menu, food was not at all exceptional (except for one meal out of 8) and the service was poor. Quite disappointing as reality did not match the reviews I had read. I have since been contacted by the hotel by the most kindest gentleman who addressed our concerns and promised to take it up positively. Appreciated that!

What an awesome venue to host a function or just hang out, the staff were impressive and service was amazeballs not to mention the view from the venue. Spacious, very modern, convenient, plenty parking and super safe. All #covid protocols were followed. Will definitely return. Highly recommended if you are based in this area. 👌

We enjoyed a night of fantasy combined with scrumptious food through Le Petit Au Chef Naturel. The staff was friendly and the service during the course of the meal professional. The food was creatively presented and I loved the bubbles. A suggestion is to provide take-away boxes for the food a person is unable to consume… my heart was heavy considering food wasted.

To me and those I was with we really loved everything about the place, the service was simply amazing, friendly from the security guard, reception also amazing, waiters service was excellent. The rooms were so perfect, very beautiful, I mean 5 star in a way. My time was short because I was staying there because of a course but I really wish I came with my family, but I will do come back with my family 🙂🙂. The hotels location is in the the center of everything that one can ever need when in vacation. I mean the view when you are in the balcony is simply excellent, I mean perfect. The only one thing I did not like about it's location, is the curve that is next to the gate, I feel it's a bit dangerous but apart from that the experience was a 5 ⭐ experience.

It's a beautiful hotel but the only reason you don't get 5 stars is: 1. We arrived in our room just before 1am and the pillows weren't covered with pillow cases but the guy at reception quickly sorted that out. 2. The room had 1 towel. Other than the above, what a great place! It's clean and absolutely beautiful😍

Seems to be a top class hotel. I don't have much detail about the hotel and it's rooms though. Was there at the restaurant area for LE PETIT CHEF What an amazing experience, would definitely recommend it to others. Fine cuisine to go with the great entertainment
