    Most horrible company to use for delivery. It takes 10 days for the 3 day package. The is blame shifting between branches, depots and drivers. Your fragile package looks like it fell of the back of a truck. Pathetic service and absolutely no pride in their work. SECUNDA AND GEORGE, never ever will i use your company or recommend it to anyone. Rather use the post office, you know what you get there.

    The Courier Guy, has gone mad! I've been using them on such a regular basis, I knew the delivery guy in person. Their tariff was the best by far in comparison with their competition. They've updated to a new address system and also literally more than doubled their courier fee as they've installed a special rate for plot/farm addresses. We are just off a main road and not difficult to find at all. Sorry The courier guy, I wont be using you again, VERY VERY DISSAPOINTING !!!!!

    We will no longer be doing collections from our customers and delivering them back again, after 10 years of using The Courier Guy, in the last month they have damaged 2 of our customers gaming consoles and then tried to cover it up by putting them in one of their boxes so we can't see that they have been damaged! Now they refuse to replace them for the customer. We then sent the customer a replacement PS4 Slim console, and they have now lost that one too. Stay away from #TheCourierGuy they say they handle your package, yes they handle it very badly and you will probably lose your items if they do collect and send it for you. Or when you get it, it will be so damaged that you can never use it anyway, and then they going to basically tell you, it your problem!     The new system overcomplicates things and now it turns out that payments take much longer to be allocated. So long in fact that now I have to explain to several dozen customers that we cannot even book their shipments with a courier company we have dealt with for the past 5 years every single day. Want to talk to a manager? Get ready to hold for 15 minutes only to be dropped. We will be ceasing to work with Courier Guy as of today. Best of luck

    From The Best Courier Guy in South Africa to The Worst !!!!!! Your New System Sucks ! I have lost so much money with this new system and have customers complaining about poor service delivery thanks to the Courier Guy. Your great Service has become the worst service I have ever had and that's saying something. After being a customer for the last 10 years I am ashamed to be even associated with a company that has become so bad as Courier Guy now. I have always supported the Courier guy and have always held them with High Regard have even told other companies how good there service was to try get them onboard. Now I'm telling companies to stick away these people have changed and gone from Good to Bad over night. Been Trying for the Last month to get hold of management and still waiting for them to come back. I will be stopping there services and I hope who all read this do the same. Also I will be telling all my customers about how the great service has now depleted and gone to the worst. And rather ask them to look for better Horizons.

    The courier guy is honestly the worst courier service in South Africa. They tamper with parcels, fail to deliver and will still have the audacity to OVERCHARGE us on our account. All queries on overcharged amounts fall on "deaf" ears and go completely unanswered and ignored especially if you have a prepaid account as they can just continue to take money from your account. Their advertised pricing might seem attractive but they will rip you off on each and every parcel. We have lost thousands due to their illicit practices and still no one will answer any of our queries regarding these issues. Literally any courier service will be better that this lot of thieves!

    Great rates & quick delivery times, but do not use, if you have fragile/ glass items that need transporting. According to their Ts & Cs they will never pay out any glass related breakages. I highly recommend to the courier guy, that you make this very clear and don't mislead your customers. In my case, latest at my first dispute, you should have told me, you will never pay any glass related damages. Which is fair, but you need to let your customer know before they spend 1+ Million Rand with you.

    I used The Courier Buy previously and was very impressed with their speed and efficiency. However, this time has been a completely different experience. I am needing medication delivered urgently however I have been waiting in vain for a courier. When I try to phone to establish when someone will be coming, I'm either told that the service is "congested" and it just rings off, or else it is permanently engaged. I won't be using The Courier Guy again but meanwhile, I have paid my money and need my medication delivered!!

    I heard good reviews and went for it. I regret because they are really not what I expected. They didn’t go to collect my parcel but they wrote “collection Failed: parcel not ready”. What a lie cause nobody came to collect the item. This happened twice. I am definitely going to try other services.

    If I could give 0, I would. Would not recommend. The company's customer service is atrocious and any problem on their side (lateness, not reading instructions, showing up to collect after closing times, lying that there were no parcels), continuous to be brushed off and the blame is put on you as a customer. 1) I paid and ordered a parcel to be collected and delivered, then they stated that it was collected and delivered minutes after, even though I still had the parcel in my possession. When contacting them, they referred me to one of my previous parcels and kept brushing off my proof of payment for both and stating how can it be delivered minutes after booking. The person who 'assisted' me was no help at all and I had to phone in. The manager later called and put the blame on me 'due to barcode being ripped on their waybill', however, my copy is in tact and the one I handed in was intact. After trying to explain, and continuously being interrupted, they stated that the parcel will be picked up in the afternoon. Even though I booked for pick-up before 12:00. No apology or recognition for their mistake was made and the manager had a lack-luster attitude. Luckily the parcel was picked up at 11:15 despite the issues. 2) Previous issues with lateness and drivers being careless have been reported, however, no change has been made. Excuses given for showing up after closing are: 'driver overbooked, they work until that late (18:00), normally companies are open that late(18:00)'. That was in response to a complaint that the driver showed up 2 days in a row after the company closed at 16:00, as indicated when I booked online. I paid for local overnight, which was only picked up and delivered the week after (4 days after booking). They stated in their email 'fortunately, we were able to collect that day'. but that was because the drivers actually went when the company was open. This is not the first time it happened and promises to rectify the issue fell on deaf ears (or eyes). I will be moving my business elsewhere and hope everyone else does too.

    I had to call the customer services because my parcel kept on being returned to hub and no one was contacting me. When I asked about this, they told me the drivers don't deliver in my area because it's a high risk area. How was I supposed to know this if no one is contacting me? Why am I being charged for door to door fee when they know that they can't provide the service? I was told I need to go to my nearest police station for fetch my parcel as the driver waits there, again how was I supposed to know this? I asked them, why is the driver not letting me know he's at the police station and I should come and collect my parcel. They say there's a lot of parcels and the driver can't call everyone - pathetic! For normal door to door they call to say they are at the gate but can't say when they are at the police station , that's discrimination if you ask me. I understand the security concerns that you have but you need to communicate, that's my biggest issue.

    This is what happens when you trust the courier guy with your goods: - You stipulate the dimensions & weight (40kg & 35kg in this case. 2m length each) - you get charged 2x the amount of their competitors but because you have a pre paid account you decide let's use them - expect 1 delivery guy to arrive to carry 75kg Himself -obviously he can't so YOU CALL to point out their unprofessional behaviour. - they cancel the insurance they already debited you for, but assure you your parcel with be handled with care ( view pic's) - the next day you receive a Email saying oops 'sorry your package got damaged' - you drive to their Warehouse to view your damaged goods ( because they will charge you storage while you decide what to do) - wow 😂 the warehouse what a shocking site. several damaged items, no order, no authority, walk around find your various packages yourself - Finally find your missing package, inspect the broken packages broken with missing pieces which no one can account for clearly this was dropped must be one person trying yo offload yet again. - they will say there's Nothing we can do as we use a 3rd party it's not our fault 🤔 - now the shocker!! they send ONE driver again to deliver two packages weighing 75kg, which is clearly too much for one person to carry - expect to be put on hold for if you wish to complain to a manager while everyone in the office asks if you signed an indemnity form - expect an email blaming it on insufficient packaging - despite the sender asking if it was sufficient packaging and being told yes by the Driver There's no excuse for poor customer service and lack of common sense. If you feel the items are to fragile to transport rather don't accept the money and advise your clients to use some one else. How do you send an elderly driver to carry a 75 inch TV by himself and a unit weighing more than 40 KG and more than 2 meters in length. Pathetic service, pathetic delivery. Your don't care attitude about people's belongings will take you very far.

    The worst service I've ever received from any delivery service. I ordered something from a store which uses this courier service. First the delivery guy said he tried making the delivery (He never showed up) and phoned me twice, only reaching my voicemail - Where in fact I did receive two voice mails and immediately phoned him back. I asked if there was any problem with my delivery and he said no. After waiting a while I receive a call from the opps manager (Lucky) saying that my delivery has been returned to the depot as the driver was unable to deliver. I explained to the opps manager that the guy never arrived as we were waiting for him and I did phone him back and he said there was no issue with my delivery. The opps manager said he will send the guy back immediately with my parcel. Waited a while longer and phoned him back to check for an update - He said that the driver has disappeared on him and ran away. He has arranged for another driver to come through - Waited even longer and eventually phoned in again, he then said that driver's car has broken down and the best he can do is arrange for a delivery on the next day (Saturday). He promised that even if he has to deliver it himself he will make sure that the delivery arrives as he knows this was completely their fault. I understood and accepted the next day delivery. Comes the next day, I phone in again. To my surprise - No such arrangements has been made, the opps manager then on duty (Johan) said they were not informed of anything regarding this issue. He then managed to grab my parcel and meet my halfway so that I could receive it. In my life I have never received customer service this bad. I would literally recommend you use ANY other method of delivery. It will be better.

    These guys blatantly open your parcels with no repercussions. Boy do I regret choosing them. This is what a brand new box looks like after just 1 night in their custody. How does one trust them after this?

    We ship hundreds of very heavy high valued items every month. In 18months we’ve had 3 minor issues. The couriers are friendly and always willing to help. Admin queries are dealt with within an hour or 2. Best of all our company gets 5 star reviews based on TCG super fast and efficient service.

    We had an original artwork sent from the framers in Somerset West direct to our client in JHB, and the entire artwork arrived at the client smashed to pieces on all sides of the frame and is now completely ruined by The courier guy. The art was appropriately packaged as we always do, and it arrives perfectly fine. It is very obvious that this package was forced, dropped and abused in transit. Our framers also confirmed that the individual that collected the piece was already shoving it around when he collected it and when told to handle it with care, he responded that he knows what he's doing. Which was already a concern. We contacted Courier to advise on the above and their attitude is that they don't take any responsibility for items such as art. DISGUSTING SERVICE!!!!!!!

    Horrendous service!!! My parcels have been delivered late on various occasions. There have been many times that I have had to phone in to get these people to do their jobs and to get my parcels through on the stipulated due date. They are highly disorganized and not a courier service you can trust. One has to constantly monitor them to ensure parcels are being delivered on time. Calling in to head office is a nightmare. Service as a whole is shocking, utterly shocking!

    Fast delivery, but this is the condition a very very important document gets delivered. Corner of envelope actually ripped, lucky my document is intact, just looks like it has gone through the tumbledryer... This in one day after being sent... Ugh disgusted...

    I needed my parcel and it was scheduled to only be delivered the next day. I went into the depot to collect it. I could not believe the activity happening. I was helped by a young man with an unbelievable amount of energy and enthusiasm..... he found my parcel in all that was going on. Sorry that I never asked his name. All I can say is a 1000 thank you's. Then all those bakkies got on the road for their daily deliveries. Wow!!

    Absolutely terrible. We were told our parcel would arrive before 12 and it only arrived 3 hours later. Get a better tracking system so customers know exactly when their parcels will arrive and don't lie about when it will arrive. Also, take a note from Takealot and make it easier for people to reschedule deliveries.

    How I wish somebody from the Courier Guy management will make time and effort to be on Malibingwe Drive on a week day from 07:00, travelling east, from Cosmo Mall to Witkoppen. The drivers are driving like taxis and have no respect or regard for other drivers on the road, breaking numerous road laws as they go. I assume it is to arrive to their delivery points asap, just like the taxis.. Many more photos to share...

    Worse service ever. People are rude!! My parcel was marked as same day delivery on the 22/04 from the supplier company. for the first time on the 24/04 the courier guy phone me to get directions for my delivery. I send my pin location to the number provided, when I phoned them they state I will only receive my order tomorrow. I worked with the Pretoria branch before exceptional service, but wont recommend the Kay Sand branch to anyone!!!!

    Pathetic service. From the drivers to the customer service line. Rude and entitled drivers who refuse to help customer, and unhelpful uninterested call centre unwilling to help (who even hang up on you). 0 stars is deserved. Update: your drivers have marked my package as delivered and stolen my items. Is this how you run your company? By stealing from your clients?

    Honestly if I could rate them zero I would. I was suppose to receive a parcel and received an sms that it will be delivered on that day before close of business no one contacted me o that day when I called they said they tried to call me and I didn’t answer which was a lie no one called me no one came to my house. I spent R1000 to drive to their hub because I needed the parcel urgently and the matter was not even escalated because they protect each other terrible service to customer. Never using this service provider ever again . I do not recommend them at all try other service provides.

    Exceptional service, they took less than a day to courier a parcel from GP to PMB which I thought would take 2-3 working days. I'm was really touched by their efficiency. No troubles with my parcel being couriered. Will definitely use them for any parcels I courier from today.

    Guys let me just begin by saying well done. You managed to provide absolute fantastic turn around times within the Modderfontien region and I definitely believe it is because of your Guy Tebogo. He is one of the most friendly guys I have met and he answered any question I had to ask. He has always been prompt and on time each and every time we have requested either a delivery or collection. This man deserves to be praised to the highest extent possible. Thank you guys keep it up!

    I entered the Bedfordview branch of Courier Guy at 16:45 today and walked up to the first counter. A lady with light brown hair mumbled something inaudible so I asked her to please repeat it because I couldn't hear her. She again mumbled something and I struggled to figure out what she was saying. She had an irritated look and the most unfriendly and unwelcome vibe about her. Eventually she spoke up and said they are closed. On Google they state their hours are 8am to 5pm so I still made it in time. She just stood still while glaring at me so I asked her would she be willing to process my parcels, or must I come back tomorrow. She said "We close at 16:45 so come back tomorrow". A person who is so incredibly snooty, unfriendly and inflexible should not be working in a customer facing job. Her male colleague sitting at the next counter offered to help process my parcels but it was with very little enthusiasm. This branch has as much appeal as a post office or the Home Affairs, and the staff need some serious training on customer service and how to be professional in the workplace. They shout to each other from opposite sides of the office and talk about personal things like cosmetics to each while the place is full of waiting customers. Courier Guy's delivery service is great, I've used them them lots. However, the staff at this branch are an embarrassment to this company.

    I am really disappointed. I was in need of assistance from the client support team and the lady that assisted me didn’t want to help. I am not sure what happened to her that day but clearly she went out of her way to NOT assist us with our need and it’s been a few days now and she never logged our pick up. I have all her details (I won’t mention it here) and want someone to please reach out to me regarding this. We lost a client and work before Christmas due to her. I really think she should manage her work ethics, being friendly and respectful shouldn’t be too much to ask for. I’ve never logged a pick up and she clearly wasn’t going to help me do it too. Please manage your support team and teach them decent manners on how to SUPPORT clients in need or move her to a different department. Thank you.

    If you cannot wait for your parcel to get delivered, this is where you come to collect. Just call and confirm that your parcel is at this outlet. They however have very limited working hours during the weekend and holidays so also be mindful of that. Also come with your ID. The staff is very friendly and they are always willing and ready to assist you. Would definitely use this service again

    Poor service and lack of client empathy. The admin at PUDO are obviously unhappy with their jobs. I placed 5 parcels with the correct weight in 2 lockers at R200 a locker. Each box was clearly marked with waybill no. Pudo removed this due to their terms and conditions that you can only place 1 box per locker, took the goods back to their dispatch and then advised me to book an XL locker x 3 for R200 each. Total delivery of R1000. For five small boxes. Train your staff courier guy you are losing clients left, right and centre.

    Never had a problem with the courier guy but today i called to find out were my package is as it was collected the 19th december and booked the 17th december and now im told that it was only booked today from bobshop thats a blatant lie even your website said its in transit. Its great to know that i get lied to by aparently the best couriet company in south africa...

    I sent a package from JHB to Nelspruit overnight service on the 12th December to arrive the 13th December. I followed up on the 12th December to at 15:00 to say my delivery has not been picked up yet. Courier Guy said that the package was assigned to the incorrect driver and will be picked up the next day. It is now the 18th December and my delivery is still not available in Nelspruit. I’ve had numerous calls to the Courier Guy and promises that management will call me back with not a single phone call yet. Funny enough we were going to open a corporate account with Courier Guy as we had a sales consultant come sell how good you guys were. Unfortunately this will not be the case.

    The worst courier company!!! You try to run a small business and make a living but then courier guy makes your life a living hell and costs you thousends more unecessary because they cannot deliver a service that they “promise” you. We are getting a laywer and taking it further. You can not do business like this everyone is trying to make a living in this tough times and this money grabbing basterds just dont care.

    We have been spending a lot of money with courier guy via out online business. They are the best when it comes to delivering our goods. JUST HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH OUR PICKUP DRIVER. ILL NEVER FORGET THAT THIS DRIVER THREATENED ME. EXPECTED THIS COMPANY EMPLOY PROFESSIONALS. Just another bad service provider now.

    I cannot believe the horrible dont care attitude we get from your company. I understand your terms and conditions does not keep your customers in mind but taking responsibility for your mistakes might be something to take into consideration in future. I understand for you its all about the money but if you keep on treating your loyal customers like you treated me today your doors wont be open for long. I don't even want to give one star but I dont have the option of zero stars. I took a loss of R34495.00 due to your staff's incompetence. For a small company that is a lot of money. The wheel will turn on you slowly but surely. I will not support or recommend your company to anyone in future.

    I honestly don't know what we would have done today had it not been for your assistance. I know you try your best and we've had issues with change of addresses not being actioned on time. But overall, thanks for the service quality, the promptness and assisting with the sensitive matter today. Our client was in tears and you helped to turn that around saving us from a dent in reputation and loss of customers. Thank you.

    I have noticed an improvement in the service quality by The Courier Guy since they upgraded their system. In the beginning, there were a couple of hiccups with the PIN, etc., and over the years, we've had a couple of shipping delays - But we got them resolved in the end. The company seems to be growing and managing a giant structure as efficiently as possible. The drivers I have interacted with are always cordial, and their vehicles are in pristine condition. The driver in our area is nothing short of fantastic, he's built a relationship with his customers, and we've contacted his Manager to share the positive feedback. I would recommend monitoring the online chat, though, because I've always had to phone due to a lack of response.

    Each time I see a marked vehicle, they're driving recklessly and dangerously. Today I learned that I'm not even alone in believing that the drivers for this company are lethal hazards on the road. From a hit and run, to sideswiping cars regularly!!! Please avoid using this company for the safety of everyone on the roads. And please, if you see their cars on the road, stay far away. Also, review and report all bad driving, they need to be made more aware.

    A promise to pick up my package was made the the next day, after payment was made and waybill received. At 14:33 on the day of pick up (09/11/21), I receive an email requesting that i be liable for any damage to fragile items, and only then will the items be picked up. 1. No additional insurance offered during payment. 2. No accountability for damage caused on Courier Guy's watch. 3. No apologies for not collecting my package by the afternoon, and throwing me a curve ball at the final hour. 4. No response to my email. 5. No respect of timelines and urgencies experienced by the customer. Not trusting this delivery team again.
