Lots of things I loved here. Although during the week day hours there was a day camp for children. Which meant the area near the bathroom had children running around screaming. Also the play ground is very near the camp sites. So often from 9am-8pm children would be screaming and playing loudly. So we left 2 days early from our tent campsite. We was to stay until noon on Friday. And we packed up and left by noon on Wednesday. Because I do love children although It’s not peaceful or relaxing hearing 20-30 kids just being kids. I do wish this was something I knew prior to booking this site. We was at tent spot 4. It is a beautiful park with nice spacious spots and hot showers. Although not many flat spots for your tent.

The place is super quiet, beautiful people surround the place exercising, taking photos or just talking. Super clean. A bit cold in autumn in summer it is excellent for camping, the place is safe. Surrounded by houses there is a golf park. In short, it is not big kiy compared to others but cozy.

The disc golf course is really confusing, needs a map or at least the hole number called out on top of the basket. Park is pretty, but the disc golf was not a great experience. Park 4/5, disc golf 2/5. Has a lot of potential but needs better management. Couldnt even find where the drive pad was for hole 6, 7 and 8. I stopped at hole 10 out of frustration. Maybe color code the baskets?

Polaris just had a picnic there and as a newer relocating employee...IT WAS AWESOME!!! My kids and I had great food, were allowed to throw axes and paddle kayaks in the river. We were a little old to do the bouncy houses, but getting tipped over in the kayaks was way more fun anyway. Shout out to the axe attendants who let us handle sharp objects and the Polaris receptionist who comforted us as we tried hauling the kayaks back to shore.

Really nice clean park with an open playground, grills, clean restrooms. Quiet and just really pleasant.

My parents parked their camper here when they came to visit. It was such a great spot to come and visit. They were able to.bring their dog as well. The camper spots had partial hook ups, everything except the sewage, but they do have a spot to dump.
