The room itself was fine although upon entering the building at check in I did smell pot smoking very strongly but did not make a fuss . Checked in and next morning before check out I decided to throw a quick load of laundry in because we are traveling . When I returned to get my laundry from dryer someone had removed my laundry and put into machine below and STOLE MY BRAND NEW PANTS ! I did not notice when I gathered it up put in van and proceeded to go home to California ! I AM SO TIRED OF THE LOWLIFES I HAVE TO SHARE THIS WORLD WITH !

It's hard to come by a pet friendly motel with friendly staff and clean rooms. My three cats and I were made to feel very welcome and I had no complaints during my 2 day stay. The hallways are pretty noisy though. It was a woman across the hall for me that kept on coming out and checking the hallway and closing her door every time she thought somebody was walking by. So I just chose the bed farthest from the door as I always do.

It's everything a Motel 6 should be: a clean comfortable room at a reasonable price. Since I travel with a dog, I stay in a lot of Motel 6's. My only complaint about this location is that, while they have a no smoking sign prominent in the lobby and on every floor, they clearly allow people to smoke in their rooms. The smoke was so thick it was hard to breathe in the hallways. While this Motel 6 was okay, with a nice room, a comfortable bed, and good Wi-Fi, I would choose another location where the smoking ban is better enforced.

Booked room for 2 nights. When I checked in front desk person Craig was rude and snappy. I had my daughter in the car sleeping and her dad was waiting in the car with her. Craig asked for my ID and I showed him my spouse's license and he was rude saying my spouse needed to come in to verify who he was. I was the one paying. I explained my daughter was in car sleeping and he was waiting with her so she wouldn't be by herself. He said that isn't my problem so figure it out or you can't stay here. He gave us a room that smelled like cigarettes bad. Also, garbage hadn't been taken out. He gave us attitude about changing rooms. Housekeeping took our towels and didn't give us clean ones. Hotel staff needs attitude adjustment. Very rude staff. Next time I will spend my money on a better place. Wished I wouldn't have wasted money on this lousy place.

I stay here alot. Staff is friendly and they do their best. Times are tough. Rooms are okay. Little pricey but doable. Good parking. Restaurant right next door. Highway close by. New stuff being built close by.

If you can go to the one in Sutherlin. Few more miles up the road but it's a lot nicer and almost always cheaper. As Motel 6 goes this one would be somewhere in the lower middle quality wise.

This was by far the best motel 6 I have ever stayed in. The staff were pleasant and helpful. If they were not busy at the desk then they were cleaning in their areas. Thus it was also the cleanest motel I've had the privilege of staying in and I have visited 5 star motels that would have a hard time comparing to this motel. The hallways and doors are all inside the building which is very nice on those cold or wet winter days and nights. There is also a wonderful little restaurant on the property that serves excellent meals just a short walk across the parking lot. Thank you for a wonderful stay. I highly recommend this location for your stay in lovely Roseburg Oregon.

Have stayed here a few times in the past nice way to have a staycation but this time they have implemented some new policies and changed some things. First never have I ever had to show id's for all of the guest staying. Which was a huge inconvenience for not just us but the large group behind us. There was no fridge or coffee makers in the rooms anymore. I will say room was clean and actuality smelled good for being a pet room. Safe to say after last night I don't think we will be going back. And I would ward anyone else off this place.

Cheapest management I've ever seen. I've stayed in many motels, including other Motel 6's, and never seen one that charged extra for a fridge and microwave. Otherwise, besides being run down it's fairly clean. The desk clerk was easily confused and didn't seem to know what he was doing half the time while checking me in, but maybe he was new. It took over half an hour to check me in when I had reservations, when it should have taken 5 minutes. I'll definitely check around more before I stay here again.

BEWARE! BED BUGS! Checked in after a long day of driving to be put in a room with bed bugs! We rented a room with 2 queen beds and both had bed bugs under the mattress and within the sheets! The hotel was booked out so there was no room to be switched to (not that we would have wanted to). We ended up staying elsewhere. At least the staff was kind and helpful.

One of the better Motel 6’s I’ve stayed at. The room was surprisingly clean, the receptionist Tyler was really nice, and helpful on the phone. One of the only places where it’s a pet friendly hotel that allows more than just dogs, so my cats were able to stay. The bathtub was large and really clean. The only thing that bothered me was the room next door smelled like they were smoking in the room, and I could smell booze and vomit coming from their room. Definitely not the motels fault though.

I love staying here. Clean rooms, great location right by freeway. Friendly staff. Very cozy atmosphere. I've never had any theft issues. My pets love it when we stay here. I've stayed at this motel many many times and it never disappoints. I would highly recommend staying here.

It is great for what it is. For us, just a stop on our way home. People were friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Our two dogs were welcome and no extra charge! No coffee in room, but nice setup in the lobby along with snacks and soda machines (a bit pricy). If you're just looking for a place to spend the night on the road, this is the place.

Was not satisfied the way we were greeted on arrival, the staff was not in good health, we booked two double bed , short of towels, only soaps given when compared to our stay in south padre island visit with motel 6, sorry to say not recommended from my side, disappointed.

The location of this place is close to I-5 and the rooms are clean and freshly renovated with nice decor. However, the elevator was broken and the stairwells were filthy. The ice machine was also broken. The power went out during the night of our stay and the room became very hot, so we checked out early. I'm sure the clerk was fielding lots of questions about the power outage, but he was impatient with me and others.

Rude front desk associate. The elevator tried closing with my dog on the outside and me standing in the doorway, and the elevator door was forcefully closing on me. Room phone didn't work, and the bedding smelled bad. And their sign that says the cost for a room was not accurate.

Nice and clean room! Need to put some softer pillows in the room. And front desk customer service was fair. We also had to change rooms because our key did not work, so a little bit of a hassle since we had a lot of luggage!

Clean, well managed, easy over the phone, seamless check-in, clean linens, what more does the I-5 Traveler need for a great price! A well run Motel and it shows, coffee ready before you wake, employees treat each other well and employees treating Travelers with respect and Great Service! Thank you Motel 6! In Roseburg, OR Steve

Very clean, comfortable beds and pillows, amazing shower, and a good pet area with poopy bags. Very accommodating to our needs.

I was with a group of 6, 2 single rooms & 2 doubles. My friend and his wife were sleeping on the 2nd floor. They heard hammers pounding on the floor above them on the 3rd floor, in the room above them. They called down to ask them what's going on and to stop. The desk replied that if the guests didn't like it. They are welcome to leave! Apparently Motel 6 was re-modeling the floor all Night! Motel 6 didn't offer another room or apologies when we checked out the next morning! DON'T bother booking with the Roseburg location. They want to collect your money, with NO Customer Service! 😡

Very nice. And got a smoking room as well. That’s a rarity now a days. Friendly front desk clerk and no nasty carpet in the room. Ice cold ac. What more could you ask for?

The motel and rooms are good. Staff is very nice. Other guests were not polite and allowed their children to run up and down the hall and jiggle the door handles to rooms. This kept disturbing our dogs and try would start barking and keep us awake throughout the night.

The room was very clean, near the freeway, shopping, and dining. Pet friendly, safe and ample parking. Every staff member was outstanding by providing excellent customer service continuously for the three days of our stay: kind, positive, professional, and continuously made sure out stay was comfortable and accommodating.

The staff here was great but the facility was mediocre. Worn bed linens, no microwave or refrigerator in room, drug buys in the rear parking lot. Very uncomfortable surroundings and access to people walking in from the freeway and bushes at night.

Called motel direct to make reservation for next day. They automatically switched me to Booking.com and made my reservation. Problem came up and had to cancel, motel said no problem but to call Booking.com. They said I was too late (before 3) to get refund. Will never go thru booking again and am finding other pet friendly motels that are neater and cleaner like Super 8. Motel 6s aren't what they used to be.

Made reservations ahead of time. When we arrived they said they have 2 rooms left. One room didn't have ac and the other was dirty but had ac. So we chose the ac room. The bed wasn't made and had towels all over the floor. Wasn't thrilled about this 😕

The 1st thing is: TV didn't work, and every night it would revert into a blank & black screen. Every day we would need to have the clerk on duty come into our room to “reprogram” our TV so that it would be able to be watched. He would come in every time with his remote and said that only his remote would fix the problem. Yet every night the same thing would happen & he would need to come in & fix it. Absolutely appalling! The 2nd thing is: we had to plunge our own toilet EVERY SINGLE DAY because it clogged and wouldn't flush. When we asked for a complete room cleanup (new bedsheets, etc, mopped floors, toilet thoroughly scrubbed, shower thoroughly scrubbed & cleaned, everything dusted) — all that was done was the floor was swept clean & then mopped. Shower wasn't cleaned, the toilet was black, filthy & grungy as before so I know it was NOT scrubbed and we specifically asked several times in our 2-month stay at this hotel for it to be scrubbed clean. They just totally ignored our requests! The 3rd thing is: our room 102 was right in between the main office room and the hotel's laundry room. Right outside our room the carpet in the hallway ends and there’s a metal piece on the floor which then turns into regular flooring for a while, then another metal piece at THAT end, and then carpet begins again for the rest of the hallway. The regular flooring was so in order to accommodate the hotel’s laundry room. The clerk’s laundry cart would bang back & forth on those metal pieces EVERY TIME the cart went through. And every 10 minutes a worker would SLAM the office door (the one that has a built-in security code lock) & go to the laundry room & SLAM THAT door! In a few minutes then they’d exit the laundry room, slam THAT door, then enter their locked office door and slam THAT DOOR! This went on for the ENTIRE 2 months we were there. At ALL HOURS OF THE NIGHT & DAY. My wife tended to stay up nights because of pain, and she can testify to the constant slamming!! Like clockwork, every night BOTH THESE DOORS WOULD CONTINUALLY SLAM OPEN & SHUT ALL NIGHT LONG!! And the carts never failed to hit those metal pieces, further adding to the incessant banging & slamming!! We were never able to sleep! Our stay here at this hotel was simply pathetic. Absolutely undeniably stressful & horrible!!! We spent nearly $6,000.00 for our 2-month stay here, and it was such a waste. Wish I would have known these horrific things would be happening all the time, we would have spent our hard-earned money elsewhere! For sure, this will NEVER happen to us again! Not at THIS hotel.

Never coming back we got kicked out of our room for noise? When they found out it was someone else no refund for that one night dog barking at my service dog dogs all over off leash as well the vending thing is expensive you can get a water for 99 cents At a store but it's 2 in the vending you have to ask for shampoo sticks like cigarettes 🚬 and more. Keep in mind this was a litter time ago

  • 1/5 Michelle D. 2 years ago on Google
It was literally a place to sleep. The cigarette smell was overpowering as soon as we walked in. There was gum stuck to the door near the lock. Curtains smelled the worst and were stained badly. Apparently you only get a small packet of shampoo on request only. We had a bad experience here last time with noise and people smoking right by the stairwell by our room. We thought we would give it one more try. Nope, staff was very short and rude. Not sure what exactly we were paying for. Never again.
