Visited June 2023. Office is easy to find with parking spaces right in front. The service desk was quick to greet me, explained the functions of the room such as hot water, and verified all billing with me. In regards to prior comments about 'double charged taxes' this only happens when you pay online with Priceline (possibly other services), and when the front desk runs your card, their card scanner company they use to run your card will also try to charge tax. The front desk has to decline the additional charge, so it isn't 'double tax'. The employee was super considerate, very polite, and you can tell the Roseburg Inn listens and is responsive to customer concerns from the past. Most of the negative reviews from the past are totally non-issues with my visit. This is a nice room. Clean bed and interior, even some high-end consumables (check the photos), as they provide Oil of Olay Regenerist lotion (this is good stuff, I use it as part of my skin care regularly). The soap smells delicious, the "Spring Mist" brand is refreshing and spicy. The motel is very close to a busy road, so you will hear traffic constantly during your stay. You have parking right in front of your door, so it is super easy to load or unload your vehicle. You also can keep an eye on it through the window if you need to check on your ride. In 2023, this is a recovering area of Roseburg, after the covid-19 recession, so some people might find it a bit busy for their liking. There are several restaurants nearby, and quick access to downtown/commercial areas of Roseburg (garden valley road, etc). The room, including the showers, sinks, floor, and bedding are very clean and tidy. I am ex military, so I even checked behind the desk, and pulled the bed back from the wall and there is not even dust there. I can tell this room was dust-mopped and wiped down within the past 24 hours. I can tell they looked closely for even a single hair out of place. Very clean, very well cared for. Wifi is slow. The speed test showed 3Mbps upload and 3Mbps download, with 30ms latency. You probably want to connect only 1 device. I mean it, only 1 device, period. If you connect a laptop and a phone, the connection will throttle your loading times on both devices badly. To say it exactly; your web browser will time out before any web page can completely load, IF you have 2 or more devices connected at one time. So, if you are ok using just 1 device at a time, then the internet is fine here. Plenty fast for web browsing to find local business. My advice? Tell your family (and yourself) to disconnect phones from Wifi and use it just for business needs. In summary... For the price, the service, and the quality of goods, this is a nice place to stay. The location is bound to recover and improve given time, so if you can tolerate the busy street then you will enjoy your visit to the Roseburg Inn. Give it a try!

Reasonably clean-ish, but beds horribly uncomfortable. My entire body was locked up and in pain in the morning. My husband went on a naproxen/acetaminophen run in the morning to get us some relief. The office should be passing these out when folks check in, cuz they’re going to need them! I know in order to make money motels such as this one don’t get usually keep the fanciest beds, but my husband and I have stayed at many hotels and these beds were hands down the worst. Room was much cheaper than the others around town, so I guess that’s why. Room dated but not a big deal. As I write this, I’m trying to figure out how I’m going to get off the toilet and take a shower because I’m in such pain. Won’t stay here again because of the beds. If you already have a slab of plywood for a back, then you should be fine. Otherwise , try and stay somewhere else.

It's realy a 2 star but because the lady at days inn was rude and said they has the cheapest deposit for locals I give it a 3 cuz the deposit here is only $25 when days inn is $100 also I opened the the top door on the inn table and what looked to be the usual Bible was a church music book with music notes in it made me laugh and I had to share it with someone

Room is small and outdated for the price. Clean but I was concerned when I walked in about cleanliness due to out dated.

These people tried to refuse a room to someone that was disabled. They wouldn't allow her companion animal and also yelled at this individual. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The room smelled like a 50 year old ash tray. It made you nauseous entering the room.

I am from Florida, traveling the states. Having major vehicle issues. Came to Roseburg Inn since Midas is a rocks throw from it. My stay is extended until Car is looked at. The staff has allowed my extra stays, have accomidated me, and have the greatest personalities. As far as the rooms go .. if you are looking for snob hill uptown high rising hotels, this is not for you. If you are looking for clean, no bugs, clean sheets and towels, with many room updates including wood tile like floors, this is your home. It has a studio like apartment feel to it. Fridge, microwave, sink, etc. During the loneliness and most home sick days of my 6 months traveling, Roseburg Inn in Roseburg, Oregon has provided me comfort. And extreme air conditioning cooling from the heat outdoors. Along with privacy and not banging on my door at 9am screaming "housekeeping". So if silence and privacy is something you crave in your travels, this is the best place. I will absolutely extend my stay if my car can not be fixed right away. Even of its $5 cheaper down the road. The staffs personality is the very reason why for me. The only flaw ... which does NOT fall on the hotel or staff ... the busy highway. If you can't handle street noise and will complain to the staff about it, don't do that to them. They can not control the sounds of outside. The sounds for me are not an issue. Just thought I would warn for the picky ones.

Place could be great- but was in the middle of a business phone call at 10 am and the manager is calling to make sure I'm checking out so they can come and clean the room- I normally only stay at name brand hotels for this exact reason. If you pay for a room you shouldn't be bothered by any staff until checkout time- turned a pretty decent stay into a frustrating/irritating stay. Use your money to stay elsewhere.

I've only been in the parking lot. We were bumping our stereo with a sub and the manager came out but didn't give us a hard time. He just came to see what was going on, made his presence known, and left it alone. We did turn it down once we noticed he was standing there with his arms crossed. Most managers at motels and stuff are just extra so I appreciated his attitude . I'll give another review after I actually stay here

A nice, clean, comfortable, affordable stay in Roseburg.

Aside from the hot water being on the right side, the light in the bathroom not working and us replacing the bulb by the lamp beside the bed, it was a decent room and the staff was friendly. Didn't mind paying the deposit for the room. Hopefully if we return, we won't have to pay the deposit again. I was a maid in a former life and always keep the room clean. Heck, I'll even prep the room to make the housekeepers job that much easier. And, the office smelled divine with the incense and mix of curry... Yum...

Clean, nice staff, $110. 00 nightly. Very basic, but quiet & clean place to stay. Has t.v., fridge, microwave. No morning coffee. Close to stores & gas.

Clean and quiet but..... No closet or place to hang clothes, tv reception is very poor, step up/down to our unit was almost impossible for someone with mobility issues and fan in bathroom sounds like a motorcycle

At first glance this would have been a 5 star rating, as we all know there is a BUT. We got a non smoking room no smoking signs up and everything. Then, you glander at the bed spread. Guess what we find. Cigarette burns all over the bed. So I'm stuck here thinking, "Okay the maid forgot this was a non smoking room and gave use a cigarette burned comforter." Then, we look around the room theres a few cigarette burns in the carpet. So its wasn't just the maid. We go to the bathroom, thats just what you do after a long car trip. Only thing in there, 1 half used roll of toilet paper, and 2 towels, no soap, no extra toilet paper, not even hand soap. So, now i can be a savage and go to do my natural thing in bathrooms and not wash my hands. Awesome. A few times my wife and I stepped out of the room to continue chatting we get a phone call saying we are to loud. So we tone it down. My wife took a shower in the night, she was telling me, "these showers are for little people not adults." I didnt realize til the morning when i took my shower what she had meant. The shower head extremely low, the water was weak, and drained extremely, and I mean extremely, did i meantion extremely, slow. I should have known better. Just to get the toilet to flush away the bad stuff, it took us about 6 tries before it actually flushed. After my shower i had outside with my wife. Thats when this stay was not any longer welcoming. They literally started freaking out. They followed me to my car, and started the harassment. They even wanted me to stay so they can do a room check, whats there to check we didnt leave or tear anything up. This was not a good place to stay. Not welcoming, not friendly, and if you read all the way thru this you can see i didnt enjoy it. If i could give negative stars i would. I wouldn't listen to other reviews you read on here. This is the real deal. Thank you for reading this far. I would heed my warning and stay clear.
