Desiree was SO RUDE. Asked her for a size small in a sweater and she said “whatever’s out is out” then walks away. I ask a man who works there and he said sure let me go check the computer. Checks the computer and says there’s one in stock then went and looked for it. For Desiree being a manager she should take the time to go do what her co worker did. Then jeans were on a rack that says 50% off in a red sign. Not saying buy one get one 50% off. Desiree said “it’s buy one get one” then rolled her eyes and we’re SO RUDE. I will not be returning to this location again and I will be sure to tell everyone about the managers attitude and how she treats her customers. As I was walking out I was scolded the whole way out the door. I will not be treated this way especially from a retail store manager.

Took 2 stars for customer service. The cashier had another girl come over and she asked were a coupon was from and that usually you have to be a member. A simple scan of the coupon was all that was needed. I finally asked if they could just try the coupon after scanning the item. The coupon worked, it came from their website.

Great customer service! I was having so much trouble finding a specific pair of jeans that my granddaughter loves and I was stressing about working up the courage to ask one of the young workers for help, as I am an older woman. However, I was then approached by a lovely young worker who helped me find the pants and even assisted in finding a matching shirt. Thank you, Ashley, for that wholesome interaction! (And for making me feel young again😊)

I had the worst experience here tonight!!! I traveled about 50min to this location to spend $150 gift card I got for my bday! I was shopping with my husband and toddlers and you already know as moms we don’t get the chance to shop or even have time to look for clothes. As my husband is pulling a pair of pants from a pile an associate steps in front of me ( which is directly in front of me and behind my husband and next to my babies) LITERALLY IN A CIRCLE AND ME AND MY FAMILY ARE AROUND HER. It was the weirdest thing ever in life!!! I’m like what is happening right now? I thought it was a shopper rudely stepping in front of us, I moved away and noticed she was fixing the pile of pants my husband is grabbing from. I’m on the other hand grabbing crop tops in every color. I ask “ why are you cleaning and straightening the clothes that were picking up to purchase? She said “ this is my job” I told her I believe you’re suppose to allow the shoppers to grab the clothes first. She was fixing clothes as we were picking them up. She was so close I couldn’t pick up anything else in front of me. I never experienced this before and this was my first time even shopping at this store. I complained to a manager but I really wish they will pull the cameras and take this as a teaching moment! You definitely had a store to clean as it was empty. ! This was totally unnecessary and completely rude! Mind you, she never turned around to look at me as I was talking to her. I’m so upset that I came to spend money and had to leave. I’m not stopping here, corporate will hear from me also. I know for sure if they view the cameras she would be fired ASAP.

Went to this location and desperately needed some new Jeans, I stopped in two days ago and I can’t believe how kind and welcoming and helpful the staff are! They gave me the absolute best experience I’ve by far ever had. She helped me find the perfect pairs of jeans. She went above and beyond with clothing choices and answered all my questions! and I couldn’t be more thankful! I can’t find customer service like this. And the store is well organized and it has a wide selection of clothes. The materials they used was on highest level. I’m so glad I stopped to American eagle to buy my jeans. It was exceptional service I received. I would definitely be back again for my future jeans needs.

Yesterday I went to American Eagle at the Rosemont fashion outlet mall in Illinois. I go a couple times a year to buy my nephew clothes. I saw a girls t-shirt that I like, so I unfolded it to take a look at it and the sales associate got so angry with me for unfolding a couple t-shirts to look at. She came and took them from me in order to refold. I had every intention of buying the top plus the tops I had picked out for my nephew. I ended up just buying my nephews tops. She kept watching me and giving me the evil eye and following me to angerly refold items I was looking at. It was so uncomfortable and insulting. If my nephew didn't have to have those tops, I would of left with nothing.

I wish I knew the cashier's name that assisted me. He was AMAZING. This was a very rare employee who went above and beyond for my shopping experience. There was some confusion with a pair of jeans I had put on hold. He went to go find the same pair in the store so I could do an exchange instead of just saying they did not have them on hold. Then my hubby saw a hat on a mannequin he really liked, but did not see it in the store. He mentioned it to the cashier when we were checking out some other items and the cashier went to the back and found the hat! The cashier was super polite and genuine, which is hard to find in customer service these days. Overall I had a very positive shopping experience and would shop here again.

Great deals to be found. Super staff! Always on point. Can I wear mom jeans if I'm not a mom??
