I celebrated my birthday at Gibson's. The customer service was awesome. Our server was very attentive and brought a display of steaks and seafood to show us as she described the process and preparation of each steak/seafood. I was also serenated by the team and given a free dessert. I love when I'm made to feel special. It was very crowed and the seating was tight. I felt a little claustrophobic; however the staff worked the crowd and space in excellence.

Great atmosphere with delicious food for each course, with very healthy portions. Went on a date night with my fiance and we loved the whole experience and plan on coming back when we're in Chicago next! Shout out to our server Alonso! He was amazing and so helpful with advice on what would pair well. Oh and the chocolate mousse tart is so tasty and HUGE (definitely need to share!)

Damn good steak here. Tender juicy meat prefect crush just right seasonnig perfect temp. Everything is so delicious here. Crab cake is all crab meat, king crab cocktail so fresh so meaty and amazing sides. We also enjoyed red wine from the Alpha project and perfect Manhattan. A huge ice cream cake was so delicious as well.

The food here is pricey, but it is definitely worth it if you feel like splurging. Service was prompt, accommodating, and very nice. Atmosphere was okay, though it was very crowded and loud. (Friday night dinner rush, so, to be expected) I do feel the tables were a tad too close together personally, just for the sake of servers and hosts needing to get around the place. The food was downright delicious. I have nothing I can think of to mention against it really! The dip that came with the crab cake was definitely spicier than expected, but was very good in small doses. Servings were HUGE! 2 people could have easily eaten off my plate alone lol. Also, I could drown happily in the mashed potatoes that came with my fish. I added the butter that came with the starting bread to them and it was an 11/10 in my book. I would happily come back~

Visiting or living in Chicago area you must try at least once Gibosons. One of the best steakhouse in town . A large variety of steaks to chose from,cocktails ,wines and list goes on...and don't forget about the desert. You will love that . ☆☆☆☆☆+

The restaurant was very nice John my server did well on service We got the chocolate mousse pie It was soooo rich I got the filet sliders and fries and added a salad with ranch dressing The sliders initially did not have cheese, so I had to ask for cheese the fries they put the salt on for me. They were a little salty for me but they were still were very very good. I did try the lobster bisque. I was really looking forward to it, but it was too salty. I had to return it back. I enjoyed my meal. I was out with friends and the service here was good. I would suggest this restaurant to anyone looking to have a good service and good food. The housemade seasoning was so good. I added it to my salad.

I came to Gibsons for my girlfriend’s work Christmas party. This was my first time eating at one. They do have free valet parking. Please give them some sort of tip like a few dollars. The parking garage is normally $15. It was pretty crowded inside as we made our way to the back private room. The hor d’oeuvres were very tasty. They had a variety like shrimp, lamb chop, mini burgers, some sort of bruschetta, etc. All of them were perfectly cooked and seasoned. We had a set menu. House salad is just iceberg lettuce with red onions, carrots, and cucumbers. Lemon sorbet was a nice palate cleanser, usually before the entree. I ordered the grass fed Australian ribeye steak medium rare. It was easy to cut and seasoned. Portion size was huge. For desserts I tried the carrot cake and macadamia turtle pie. Carrot cake was not bad. I’m not a big fan but it wasn’t too sweet and had good texture. The turtle pie was absolutely delicious. Crust was nutty and crunchy. Ice cream was very delectable. I would have to take off a star because the waiting time for the entrees and desserts seemed to take a very long time. Service was fantastic. They go above and beyond for you.

One of the best Chicago area steakhouses. All food is amazing. Love the grilled asparagus. If you have no budget for dinner, this is the place to go. Valet parking. Update 7/29/23: still a great steak house. This time, my 14oz filet was 7/10. Not bad, but not the greatest. Prices have gone up (again) in the past few months too. Our bill without alcohol averaged $150 per person for lunch. Overall Gibson’s food is very good but the overall value is not there. Service, however, remains impeccable. Manager visits every table and leaves his card… well done.

Wonderful atmosphere. Every single employee was incredibly professional and nice. Food was amazing and delicious. Highly recommend making a reservation because it is very busy. They do offer valet parking or you can park yourself in the parking garage right next to it.

Had a nice evening at Gibson's Steakhouse in Rosemont. We were greeted by the hostess, the bartender as well as the waitress. Very welcoming environment. Before going to our booth for dinner we decided to go to the bar and try a drink or two. The bar area was very nice. Had a great vibe and the bartender was very professional. After our drinks, we went to our booth and was greeted by the waitress who was very knowledgeable about the different cuts of meat, the fish and the other seafood entrees. She brought out a tray of different meats and seafood and explained the different ways that they were prepared and aged. I decided to have the ribeye and my wife selected the marinated skirt steak. Both were delicious. The ribeye seasoned very nicely. We also decided to order some sides. Our first side was the mushrooms which were terrific. Very flavorful and the second side was the creamed spinach which was a little to soupy for my taste. Overall I have to say it was a wonderful time and a terrific restaurant. The professionalism and knowledge of the staff was top-tier. Amanda, our server was outstanding!!!

Amazing food and customer service. 14oz fillet was perfectly cooked. Chicken Caesar salad had just the right amount of dressing on it. 3 Complimentary samples of bread were so good. Every staff we passed thanked us for dining with them. Definitely a place to come back to.

Superb steakhouse with old school, old world charm and clubroom atmosphere. Oozes luxury and decadence. Service is first rate and overly attentive. Steaks and sides are perfectly prepared, and beyond reproach. Delicious. A perfectly wonderful dining experience in a sumptuous environment. Bravo!

I went here to meet with a friend . It was excellent overall . The shrimp cocktail shown below was great .,I ordered a steak and it was overdone but I didn’t complain because if I would have they would have replaced it. I ate it in the spirit of my Grandfather who used to tell the waiter tell the cook to make pretend he made a mistake and burn it haha . The atmosphere was great as well as the staff . It was a blast!!! I highly recommend it .

The waiter was good, the food was better. Ordered the tomahawk and was not disappointed one bit. Crab Cake was good, sides were are big enough for two. Will go back when I'm in town for sure. It is pricey but worth it.

The best! Went for Father's day. Leslie was our waitress. She was very patient and accommodating. Steaks were fantastic. Whitefish and salmon were fantastic. Great experience as always.

It was my first time in US and my first time at Gibsons but the food... OMFG Amazing. I've ordered a 13oz New York style steak and as I love steakes this one was just HEAVEN. Perfection!! I will defo come back there again once I visit Chicago again. Honestly it was the best steak I ate in my life.

We had a group of 6 people and we were sat at a round table. This was perfect so we could have individual conversations as well as group conversation. The menu options were fantastic for a diverse group who liked steak, meat and seafood. The food was very high quality and delicious. We had a number of servers to ensure we always had what we needed. Overall, fantastic experience!

Had an absolutely wonderful dinner! My company did a small party of 20 and gave us the option of a fixed menu which made everything easier! We had a dedicated team to help us and had a small bar for our party! The bartender made an excellent old fashioned!

Steak was really good, but the baby back ribs were terrible ! Super dry, barely any meat literally warmed up in a microwave. Don’t recommend the baby back ribs what so ever !! Also the fries were very soggy ! 🤢🤢

I had never been to Gibson's before. Friends took me here for my birthday. The seared Tuna was out of this world! However, the prices are astronomical.

A+++ restaurant! Start with the free valet. A “Happy Anniversary” greeting by the hostesses and waiter. Best Old Fashioned I’ve had in a long time, maybe ever. The waiter showed us all the different cuts of beef and the crab legs and lobster tail. Every single person greeted us with some form of hello/goodbye. Management stopped by our table to make an introduction and give us his business card. Our entrees were perfect. It was my first experience at Gibson’s but I’ll certainly be back.

Normally I would eat in the bar or restaurant but got a to go order (through mobile online order via Google). The Prime Ribeye Steak Sandwich exceeded my expectation. It’s an incredible value with the flavors all blending well in this well built sandwich. Also, the shoestring fries were crispy! Thank you for not over salting / seasoning your meals! Bravo.

I have to admit, I was a little leery of the pricing, but, it was worth every penny. My brother and I both had the 10 oz Filet and my mom had the whitefish. We were not disappointed at all. Sides are very shareable and the portions are generous. I would definitely go here again (my mom and I are trying to find a reason to). I had the Crab & Avocado appetizer and it was delicious!

Love this place and will continue to go back- however a bit disappointed with the macadamia nut pie we took home…we took it To go because the kids needed to get home. The server did not tell us it was packed in ice. Needless to say the ice melted and proceeded to make the dessert soggy and almost not edible. Disappointing when we were looking forward to it. Won’t take dessert to go next time.

Came here for dinner to celebrate my daughter's birthday. I recommend making reservations as this location always seems busy. Everyone was pleasant. Edgar took very good care of us. It is always a pleasure to see Mr. Brown, and he stopped by our table to welcome us and checked on us to make sure we were enjoying our evening. We always have a great experience dining at the Rosemont Gibson's. Thank you.

I came here with my family about 4 years ago, and it was awesome, so I decided to take my fiancé there well we were in Chicago area. But the experience this time was not on par with what I had last time. Now, not everything was bad and they were packed, so it's understandable if not everything came out perfect. But the steak we had was grilled on high flames and was on the verge of being charred. We were thinking about sending the dish back, but decided to just eat what we can, since we had a two and a half hour drive back. The asparagus were decent. Some over cooked, but some cooked right. The miso marinated Chilean sea bass was WONDERFUL!!! Although, we felt the jumbo crab cake was the star of the show. Perfectly flavored and tender. The sauce was perfect, but not necessary.

Really lives up to the hype. Quality of steaks and seafood is excellent. Service is fantastic. The char on the outside of the steaks while still getting it cooked to order (medium for me) is so so good. Only downside is it gets pretty loud in the dining room, even on a week night. Not exactly an intimate dining experience.

Delicious food (him steak, me salmon) and generous portions. Waitstaff helped with choosing an excellent wine for me. Always top notch in every way.

I have heard so many wonderful things about Gibson’s Bar & Steakhouse Rosemont for such a long time. Many people I know have recommended this place. I was excited to finally dine there. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. There are better choices in the area. I don’t even know where to start. First, we were a group of six and our total bill was way over 1K. The money spent was not a problem, but when you spent that amount you would expect world-class service and amazing food. Neither was the case. Let us start with service which was mediocre, and I am being kind. The manager was corny and inappropriate, making jokes and comments off brand for a steakhouse of this caliber. Our server was slow, and we waited longer than usual to order drinks, appetizers and then another while to place our actual order. She was nice but not attentive and slow. We had to beg for a second round of drinks and remind her a few times about the cake we wanted to celebrate our friend’s birthday. She wasn’t even discreet about it. The food was disappointing to say the least. For appetizers we had Shrimp Cocktail, Oysters on the Half Shell & Crabmeat Avocado. These were some of the only good items we had. The shrimp cocktail was amazing and fresh. The Oysters were subpar, but the Crabmeat Avocado was delicious. The only thing about the crabmeat avocado is that it was a dip and they placed it on top of ice. The shrimps and oysters on ice make sense, but not a crabmeat dip. It was falling inside the ice and was difficult to scoop out. Would have taken no effort to place it in a nice bowl in my opinion. The sides we ordered were Sautéed Mushrooms & Mashed Potatoes. The mushrooms were under cooked and lacked seasoning and the mashed potatoes were just not good. I had better mash at a fast-food restaurant. The biggest disappointment was all the steaks. First, they missed the mark by a landslide on how each wanted their steaks cooked. I ordered my steak medium and got a medium well. Hardly any pink at all. My friend ordered her steak medium well and got hers well done. It was burnt and dry inside. I can go on and on. The side sauce tasted old and had no flavor. I have had better steaks at a chain restaurant like Long Horn & Texas Roadhouse and better service by far. I just have two words for management. Do better!!! To anyone looking for a good steakhouse in Rosemont or the Chicago area…..Believe me when I tell you, there are WAY BETTER CHOICES!!!

The mashed potatoes and gravy tasted exactly like KFC, that was my only take away. The steak was okay. Service was flaky, our server only came to our table like 2 times and we were about 8 people.

My wife had chicken with spicy peppers and a baked potato which was horrible. I had a 14oz filet steak was good and mashed potatoes were good just wish they were hot. Service was ok. For the type of establishment I would have expected better. First and last time there

My favorite steak by far, but unfortunately if you want proper and attentive customer service you need to visit the downtown location or the sister restaurant Hugo’s in casino just down the road. If you make reservations and you show up on time the last thing you want to do is stand in the crowd of people while everyone is bumping into you and wait for your table for another 20 mins especially during covid times.

This was our first time at this location and they did not disappoint. From valet, to staff everything was perfect. I had the burger and fry and my husband opted for the ribs, since we always get the steak, and I'm glad we tried it. Great way to end a relaxing trip.
