The 1 star rating is specifically for 1 employee there. We took a bracelet to get fixed under warranty and the woman with the grey hair in a pony tail and thick framed black glasses told us we broke it when it fact it fell apart due to poor craftsmanship. The bracelet fell apart where they took a few links out and put it back together. She adamantly claimed that couldn't happen and we snagged it or caught it on something. It was under warranty, instead of being so rude and unprofessional and making claims about something you weren't there for when it broke she could have just said ok and asked for our paperwork. Absolutely horrible customer service from this woman. When we picked up the bracelet it still looked like it had a large gap where the links are but the store manager let us know our options and did what she could to shine it up. The lady at the register was also very nice. We won't be spending any more money at this location as long as that rude woman is there. If you don't like your job then get a new one and stop being accusatory to your CUSTOMERS who are spending money to pay your wages.

Never again! I literally came up here on my off day to purchase my husband band. I walked into the store there was 2 whites ladies one black no one greeted me. So I walked up to the black girl remind you I was on speakers with my best friend, I actually walked into the store on my phone. So the black lady says “you need to get off the phone” mind u again there are no signed stated no cell phones! So I asked her why? She says “ in case you was trying to set us up” took my breath away! I don’t know if it was because I was in pjs and slides or because of my color! But it was rude and I was very offended my feelings was shattered! I wanted to say “ I am a whole nurse and make more than you and your manager!” Instead I went to K jeweler’s and was treated as a human should!!!! I will be emailing the general manager contacting corporate and I will make a complaint with BBB and fox 2 news. This has been a very disturbing experience and I pray it never happens again !!! My husband and I will never purchase anything from them in life! I hate he got my wedding ring from these people!!!!

Went in to get my ring fixed, a diamond fell off, went to the Rosville location. The two white ladies were in there. The older white lady was very rude. I had lifetime warranty on the ring she said we can’t find you in the system If you don’t have the paperwork. Mind you I brought it in multiple times to get fixed all they had to do was look it up by phone number. She went n pulled it up than went on to say oh they lock us out the system during holiday time. I have never heard of that before. Than goes on to say you haven’t been coming in every 6 months to get it checked so your warranty is expired and have to repurchase it. Than she says u have been coming in every 6 months assuming I’m lying and knew about it. My husband told her yea Bc the diamonds keep falling out. She was rude and I told her no that’s fine. I didn’t give her my ring. Than she was like let me see it went n looked under the light n scrubbed it for a few seconds. We left I will be calling corporate I would recommend this zales at all.

They service I just called the lady just so she can hang up on me just cuz she don't want to do her job so she getting a one start because of the fact is when I call she want to hang up on me just terrible service sorry

The Good: The staff at the Zales Macomb Mall location is attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. Good values can be found on high quality jewelry. Micrscopic photos are taken of jewelry each time that it is brought into the store, so that stone identity can be verified, and any damage noted. The Bad: It seems that the only services offered at this location are sales, 6 month checkups for loose stones, and cleanings. If loose stones or damage are observed, jewelry has to be sent off to an out-of-state Zales lab to be repaired, which can take 3 weeks. The Ugly: Appraisals of Zales own jewelry have to be sent out of state, take 2 weeks, and cost in excess of $100. Soldering a wedding band to an enhancer (you guessed it) has to be sent out of state, takes 2 weeks, and costs $80. These services are often provided at no charge at local independent jewelers. Store receipts do not adequately describe the items purchased to satisfy an insurer for adding an insurance rider. My fiancee and I are both very happy with the wedding band and enhancer that I purchased from this store. We decided to have them soldered and we were going to have them appraised at the same time, but the soldering and the appaisal can't be done concurrently, so my fiancee would be without her rings for 6 weeks. I don't regret buying the ring and enhancer from Zales. They are beautifful and my fiancee is delighted with them. The local Zales staff is great, but the out-of-state lab is not. The inadequate description on the receipt of the jewelry purchased makes an appraisal necessary. The cost of appraisal of their own jewelry is abusive. Any future jewelry purchases will be made at a local independent jeweler.

The woman that helped me sad to say was an assistant manager. Told me prices that were 3 yrs old. So when I received the phone call about my wedding set I was thrown back on what they wanted too repair it. So I said NO. Please just return it. I also had a couple of chains that needed to be repaired the necklace is horrible you can see were they repaired it. I'm just horrified over this

My husband’s wedding ring needed to be resized. Robin was amazing helping us with the warranty. The band had an engraving that they were able to redo! We are super appreciative to the team here at Zales! Even got the ring back sooner than expected! Now my wedding set was a disaster. I had bent a prong, and broke the shank of band. Robin understood and listened to all my concerns about my wedding set. Received my set sooner than expected as well and my ring looks absolutely beautiful! I’m very pleased with how it looks! This Zales team is awesome!

Good customer service, they followed up with me the next day on what they had found for my engagement ring. Bonnie and Karlie were very nice I didn’t end up going with them, otherwise I’d give it 5 stars
