We had the worst experience ever trying to lease an apartment at Harbor at Twin Lakes 55+. Don't be deceived by signing the lease and putting down a $300 deposit. We have dealt with their application process for over 1 month. We gave them our income history, past leasing history, our present tax return, and financial statements. Even that wasn't sufficient enough. The last straw was when they asked us for our expenses: gas (vehicle), cell phone, vehicle insurance, parking, and how much we spent at Caribou and Starbucks while we were at it. The last thing their customer service was not the greatest either. When you call, no one answers. They say to leave your number and concerns, and we'll get back to you. No calls back. You would think they would be on top of their game by keeping potential residents informed of where they are in the application process. The whole process was overwhelming and very stressful for anybody 55 and older. We were just looking for a safe and nice place to live, that's all. Beware, and don't sign anything until you are approved.

The manager Ashley barron is rude and two faced. Says one thing then says she didn't say it. If u have issues with ur apartment alot of the residents feel like we can't go to management cause if we do where crazy or a complainer and if we go to much where evicted or a none renewal of our lease. The hvac sucks here, and half the time one of the maintenance person doesn't know what there doing or just doesn't want to do it. Alot of residents feel like we are just a body for them to make money off of us and not like family. Hopefully that will change once I leave for the ones that are left here, because of none renewal of my dad and mines lease, because of my esa dog supposedly being aggressive when he was only being protective of me and trying to let people know not to stand to close to us. People who got to know us understand why my esa dog ( my fur baby) growl at them, and barks, and sometimes he just wants to play cause he is 1.5 yrs old. Otherwise its okay to live here

Like our Apt. Staff are fabulous. Because it is a new place many new home issues around the building. I feel safe and respected. Lovely walking path and close to everything.

I was very pleased with how professional and friendly the management staff is. They answered all my questions and never seemed rushed or impatient with my questions even though I could see that they were busy setting up for an Open House etc. Toy and Myra both helped make the application process easier for me to access and finish online. I was given a wonderful tour of the building and needless to say…it’s beautiful!! I highly recommend this new affordable housing location.

Was super excited to go tour that didn't happen.I had an appointment was on time. I was told it'd be maybe an hour because someone eles had an appointment for the same time and he was there first no we walked in at the same time. I finally got the girl in the office to help me after I'd been at her door 3 times. She informed me they had a no call no show. Ok then she tells me I'll just take you on the tour. I'd been there 30 min. now. We're walking to the elevator she asks do you have section 8? No I don't she said oh good you wouldn't like that apartment the bedroom has no windows! Huh no windows ok.We get to the elevator and it don't work.I told her I was done we get out of the elevator and she took off without saying a word....I honestly thought I was on the TV show Punked lol... Nope I wasn't

Very nice, but did not have what we're looking for. Upsetting, asked for 3 bedroom, was told they did and when we got there, they had no 3 bedrooms for months.!!! Not very honest...I stopped right there.

Clean. When a complex is as large as Harbor at Twin Lakes is there is bound to be issues. We have a beautiful variety of people living here. I am disabled and Management has been helpful in meeting my needs. There are some difficulties in every place a person lives. Management is always quick to resolve the difficulties. I believe I am safe.

We love it. It’s clean, it’s safe. People and staff are friendly. Good location, I like the area.

I think we have a good group here besides the few. Love the ideas that pop up for residents to participate in. Office staff are super friendly and maintenance is prompt to fix any issues. Thank you all

I've been very happy with my new apartment here. The staff has been great. A very nice roomy place for my retirement!
