Here is the list of how bad this place is. 1. Drunk hotel guest cussing my wife out when we checked in 2. Sofa bed had mattress the thickness of a tortilla. We had to get a roll away bed delivered so our done could sleep. 3. Air conditioner sounds like an airplane landing in the parking lot. 4. Sink in kitchen was clogged. 5. Sofa had claw marks from pet ( cat or?). 6. They allow contractors to park their rigs sideways taking up 6 parking spots so you have to park down the hill, then charge you $12/might for a slot. 7. Sink in bathroom runs slow. 8. Pool had scum mark around perimeter at water level. 9. Spa never worked for the 5 days we were staying there. 10. computer and printer for checking internet and printing out boarding passes out of order all the time we were there. 11. Sofa worn and uncomfortable. 12. Guests propping side door open so they could smoke their weed and get back in. Plus side: Decent breakfast. Staff are nice people, but are operating under cost constraints obviously. Either Marriott group wants to run a cheap and shoddy hotel, or local management are tightwads who don’t care about their guests. Worst hotel experience I have had in a long time.

Poor front desk service. Phone is always busy. Some of the breakfast food was not fresh - a week old (according to the front-desk) . Cleaning staff and Assistant General Manager are not flexible with cleaning times. I would not recommend the staff (primarily management) and the Roseville location. If you have an issue, they will refuse to take of it. There are several other hotels in the area that will have better service for you.

HIDDEN PARKING CHARGES of $12!! This location charges a daily $12 parking fee. It is disclosed at the final stage of your booking (buried at the bottom in small font), and they do give you a slip to put on your dashboard with the fee mentioned on it. However, the check-in staff will not mention it verbally upon your check-in, as a matter of policy. This shouldn’t be a hidden fee. If they don’t disclose the daily parking fee to a guest verbally upon check-in, then parking should be free!!

For the most part you understand what you're getting into when booking a Residence Inn night. This property is older but has been refurbished and is in quit good condition for its age. The location sucks for getting in and out of however. If you're not able to park in front before getting your key do not park in the rear as you'll have to walk around the entire hotel from where you came as all the doors require a key except the main entrance and the only way to the main entrace is to back track the way you drove in. Made this mistake this past weekend and when I knocked on the glass door just next to the check in desk the staff stared at me like I was a transient trying to break in. The guests completely ignored me too. It was rather pathetic. I finally encouraged a guy to open the door and thanked him although he looked very afraid from behind his N95 mask. When I asked the girl at the counter why she didn't let me in let alone acknowledge me she said she just thought it was outside noise. Odd since she was staring at me as I held my ID and credit card to the glass saying I just want to check in. In their defense it was about 10pm but many people were coming and going so it wasn't like anyone was there alone. The rooms were well maintained but from early 2000s. Not an issue both were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was decent although quite different from other RIs. As for leaving the parking lot if you exit on Taylor it's right turn only and you have to drive a bit before being able to turn around. Even more so to do it legally. If you exit onto Roseville you're still making a right and can make a legal u-turn at Taylor. I don't frequent the area but I probably wouldn't stay here again if I did.

Front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast every day while I stayed there. Coffee and tea also available all day long. The room was nice with a mini kitchen and had everything I would need to cook if my stay was longer. Also enjoyed the indoor pool and jacuzzi. Someone else said the jacuzzi was broken when they stayed, it was fixed when I stayed 5/11/22-5/14/22. I did see a few dogs on the property, I think they allow dogs on the first floor, I stayed on the third floor.

Manager refused to help us with an issue and hid the fact that she was actually the manager. She told us that the manager was not available. I asked them to have their boss or corporate call me and they refused. Still have not heard back from any one concerning my issue

We called and specifically asked if they had a hot tub, this was important as we were traveling for basketball. Get there and find out that there hot tub is broke (jets don't work and haven't for months). Complained and was told by the manager "the hot tub does work, the jets just don't work" - if the jets don't work it is BROKE!!! Stay some place else. Customer Service is horrible here. We had several 2 bedroom and 1 bedroom suites based on my recommendation for our team. They did not appreciate the business. Toilet was broke and had to be fixed. Door wouldn't lock correctly and had to be fixed. I even had to save their other guests from a runaway Rottweiler that was lose in the parking lot scary their other guests because they were too afraid of the dog. No appreciation at all for these either! Will not stay there again.

I’m quite surprised at all the positive reviews and at a stark contrast in my experience over the phone with the Marriott front desk staff here. I’m a Titanium elite Bonvoy member and travel a lot for work. My work made reservations here 13nights and 4 days break and another 8nights.. I wanted to call and make sure the hotel has certain amenities in place so I could pack accordingly since I will be staying almost entire November here at this hotel. The lady who identified herself as Adrienne or Adriana was not helpful, she didn’t even tell she couldn’t answer my questions nor transferring my call to someone and she did.. Now comes some obnoxiously rude woman on the phone named Shenae or Chanel as the designer purse and didn’t even tell me her name who she is because I wasn’t even aware that the earlier lady transferred my call and she bursted out without allowing me to speak at all… Needless to say, they don’t get my business and I hope the hotel management sees this review so they know how their staff is hurting the hotel’s business… I’m also a Diamond Honors member at Hilton so I immediately canceled my reservation and made mine at the next door Hilton who were beyond polite and accommodating… It’s a shame Marriott staff in Roseville are this level rude and arrogant..

Clean and functional rooms, very homy. Friendly ans helpful front desk people, decent breakfreast options, commendable ammenities. There is an awesome trail in the back to walk, just watch out for the homeless that live there. Close to anything you need during your travels and very comfortable. We had a full kitchen with a dishwasher, stove, full fridge, and all cooking and eating utensils needed. The couch is a pull out but not comfortable. The master bed has a confortable bed and both the living room and master bed had smart tv's where you can stream many different venues.

I stayed or more accurately lived here for a month. The room was nice, the amenities were solid, and the staff was wonderful. Zak in particular helped me with a number of issues, he’s amazing! Would stay here again.

Marriott is usually the only place I stay when out on the road. Everything is always a great experience besides at this location. The lady at the front desk was rude, racist, and unprofessional. I've been here for over a month because of my house burning down. My mother has a caretaker who comes and goes because she is a burn victim from my house burning down with burns to half her body. The caretaker locked himself out and was not able to get into the room to assist her. The lady at the front desk refused to give him a key or even open the door for him to assist her while making racist remarks about his appearance. She would not allow her caretaker even with my approval to enter the room and assist my mother to use the restroom or to feed her or anything. She then hung up on me and proceeded to forward my calls. If this how Marriott Bonvoy allows their staff to treat their long time guests I will never return to Marriott Bonvoy or it's establishments again especially two days before Thanksgiving. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional.

Marriott is normally my “go to” for hotel stays but this one was awful. I wish I got the woman’s name that checked me in but nonetheless she was quite rude. Long story short. She had an issue with my reservation and I had to step aside to call my husband to help me fix it and while I stepped aside she proceeded to engage in a conversation about me to the gentleman that was checking in. Very unprofessional. Every other staff member I engaged with throughout my stay was very nice. The $12 for parking per night is a little confusing. Not sure why this location would charge. Other cities that are big and would have issues with non guests parking, I get but this location shouldn’t

The staff was absolutely amazing! So friendly and helpful and welcoming. We stayed for two weeks in early June while waiting to move into our new home. Staff was quite pleasant to my dog and area was very safe and easy to walk dog (lots of green and sidewalks). Yes, the hotel is ready for some updates (especially windows) but every single person working there worked hard and was helpful and pleasant and made us feel welcomed, Thank you!

Wow. Had to come out here due to my oldest daughter giving birth. They were so accommodating from the jump. I forget the young lady who took my call, but she assured me I could handle all my business, drop by the hotel to request and early check in which they gladly obliged. When I got there Emery was quick to get me in and out, get me a room with easy come and go access and let me know the breakfast times. He was instrumental in getting me to the hospital in support of my baby girl. At this time I’m here for another day as she’s still in labor, but they have made sure whatever I need is at the front desk at any time. Also, the location is beautiful with a wetland reservation out back for small walks and hikes, it was a place to unwind before I head back to the hospital. This is a must stay when in Placer county

The staff is kind and friendly. The rooms are your standard Residence Inn rooms with a good kitchenette. First floor isn't exactly quiet especially if you're near high traffic areas. For an extended stay place, the laundry room is lacking and only takes quarters. Only 2 washers and no change machine. Front desk won't make change for anything less than $10 cash. Parking can be a premium and fills up and it'll cost $12 a night. I gave this place a second chance due to the decent cost but there are much better extended stay places you can stay in the area including other more extended stay friendly Residence Inns. Great place for a night or two, but not recommended for much longer.

Great staycation for Valentine's Day. Perfect location close to yummy eats. Pretty surrounding. Says non-smokinhg, but a room above was smoking weed...🤧

Do NOT stay here. Our tail light housing was stolen off of our dodge ram in their parking lot. This hotel has NO security and they do not have cameras. A thief's play land. The girl at the front desk stated that there was nothing she could do.

This is the 4th time we have stayed at this property and this time was the worst. The fire alarm kept having issues and going off randomly during the day and night once at 9pm and worse on our last night it went off at 3:30AM. It was horrible, loud noise, flashing lights so you can't see anything and trying to calm down children who just got a very rude awakening! The hotel is okay, rooms are a good size, staff is nice. Storage space (e.g. dressers) is very limited even in the larger two room suites. The internet connection is questionable at best and though the property has been a Marriott for years now, it doesn't have Marriott's internet infrastructure (sign-in, reliability and speeds). The laundry room (yes singular for ~200 rooms) could use some updating-new dryers for sure. Honestly after the 3rd day in a row of fire alarm malfunctions, we were glad our trip was ending.

Definitely an older hotel and not remodeled. Ants in my room, couldn’t get housekeeping (asked twice during a ten day stay), dirty stained towels, just overall horrible hotel. Don’t waste your time or money. New management needed.

The good Friendly staff, prompt responses The bad Tiny bedroom with little room to move about. Outdated building. The windows in my room were either defective or difficult to open. The free breakfast is just OK. Coffee is just bad.

Elected this property cuz there was an indoor pool and jacuzzi, which I had planned to relax after daughter's vball tournament. However, water heater for both was broken so couldn't use, which was a bummer. The room was cleaned and didnt have any particular off smell. The suite appeared to be smaller due to the smaller configuration of the bedroom. Footsteps from above were very prevalent but fortunately, it went quiet at 1000pm, 4*. We slept in and didn't try the breakfast but then again, probably the standard fare and offerings. The gym was shared with sister property, Courtyard, which actually was very decent with dumbbells even up to 75lbs, 4.5*. Front desk staff provided friendly service, 4.5*. Our stay overall was 3.5* for a 3* property.

Each room is a smaller version of a studio. Is fully furnished with kitchen supplies. Good bathroom and bed. Breakfast is a nice assortment of oatmeal, cereal, waffles, drinks, and some breakfast treats. Has a pool and spa. They do go grocery shopping for you, if you are staying there for a while. Beware of the homeless people the first night there a car got broken into in the back of the hotel, where there camp area is.Didnt happen for the rest of the week long stay we had there. Do not leave anything valuable in your cars people do steal in Sacramento, California.. You may see wild turkey walking around the hotels also.

We were here over a month ago and the hot tub wasn't heating. They still didn't fix it. The computer in the lobby also didn't work. Our room was only mostly clean, and we weren't confident that the sheets had been changed. I like the residence inn brand but this hotel and its other Marriott neighbors are not well managed. edit: I love that Marriott thought this was a positive review. Sheets weren't clean, lots of stuff were broken and the hotel is mismanaged - and Marriott thinks that's "positive feedback" and is "celebrating the great guest experiences" they delivered.

Very nice hotel. I stayed here for my bday using points and i got the 1 room suite. Very clean and spacious. I didnt want to leave. Check in was quick and easy. They offer free breakfast. Times vary depending if its a weekend or week day. It was a lil different than what im use to and was expecting.. But it wasnt bad. Everything was pre packaged. They had quiche which was good, single waffles, breakfast burritos, and bacon egg and cheese on chabata (sp?) Bread. Thats was tasty. They have an indoor pool and jacuzzi thats open till 12am. Didnt get a chance to use it.. But knowing it was there to use was good. Also there is a patio area with what looked like a fire pit with chairs set up around it. In the breakfast area they also have a lil market where u can purchase snacks, drinks, etc. They even have a coffee machine to make your own coffee. Not sure how much that was tho. Overall this was a really nice hotel. I will be staying there again soon.

Room was clean and the staff friendly but had a terrible sleepless night experience. (Without being informed at check-in, I was given a room with no working central A/C. Instead it contained a large and extremely loud portable A/C unit, which I was unable to adjust throughout the night.) Management did give me a small courtesy adjustment in price, but suggest that you confirm status of their A/C refurbishment project before checking in. Also their continental breakfast was nothing special. Expected more from this hotel for the $$$.

This hotel has been recently updated. The rooms are clean and spacious and they all have kitchens with a nice size refrigerator. Every person that works here was kind and friendly especially Hailey and Justin at the front desk. The manager, Adrienne, went above and beyond by helping me extend my visit without a lot of extra cost and was very nice to us throughout our stay. They had a crib in my room ready when I arrived. There were so many cute dogs! My only complaint was there was not an extra comforter for the sofa bed. I would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was okay.. you can't get eggs unless it's the weekend. Dog Friendly (awesome) The homeless camp in the woods near the hotel. Gym is better than could be expected I just wish it was colder in there. Excellent staff. Standard showers in the rooms.
