They say malls are a thing of the past. This mall definitely is in decline, but it is still very clean and well maintained. Almost every store may be accessed from the outside. Several stay open later than the mall, especially the food court. When I say it is in decline, I refer to the stores located here. There are many empty storefronts. For the existing stores, several have locked the interior mall doors, forcing you to enter them from the outside. The bathrooms are small but reasonably clean. The corridors are long and winding and fairly quiet. I always see security present, especially in the parking lot at night. UPDATE: A new liquor store was added next to the bookstore.

This is not best mall... but it's also not the worse. There are a few good store options. The bathrooms are usually dirty though and security locks the doors well before the mall is closed. This has happened to us a few times and then we had to walk around with our young children. We like the location though.

Nice little mall with a good variety if stores. Home Goods, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Cub Foods, shoe stores, beauticians, …pretty much anything you would need you will find.

This place used to be thriving, now it is just a shell of it's former state. A lot of empty stores, and the ones that are still there didn't have a lot of business with the exception of Barnes & Noble. What a shame. I have a lot of good memories from this mall from the late 80's.

Always feels like it's on its way out, but has been a hangout for me and the friends for over a decade. The sushi place there is decent and the cub foods being connected really makes it a better place. If it was missing those 2 things i think it would lose a star for me. It's an okay place to get a few things or gifts. But really a mediocre mall that feels like it's about to go under.

Nice extremely clean mall with wide corridors. Not crowded at all on a Friday at 6 p.m. marshals is great Burlington is the knockoff my biggest complaint is why do all stores shutter close in the corridors within the mall? Please note how thin the walkway to the bathrooms is

Har Mar "Mall" is really no longer a traditional mall. The inside is empty and frequently they have the inside entrances to the stores shuttered so you actually have to go outside to get in. It still has some decent stores but it is losing tenants and it's hard to see a recovery happening which is a shame. In its day, not that long ago, it was a pretty busy place.

Burlington's is always so addictive..... Cop these Uggs there a while back then I built an ensemble around the sneakers...I'm always willing to go the extra mile

Looks abandoned with how neglected it looks. Bathrooms are frequently cleaned, but need some updating, so it also feels safer. This whole place could use a face-lift- Can we get a dine-in cafe here (not just b&n)? Brighter lights? Plants? Pleasant music playing? This would attract more businesses & customers alike and would be a very nice shopping place in winter...cmon yall!

Har Mar is just a half mile or so south of Rosedale shopping center... Used to live across the alley from Har Mar and spent many great times at Har Mar.... They have Michaels ,, Old Chicago ,, Famous Footwear,,, Home Goods ,, Staples ,, Marshalls ,, Burlington to name a few. ... Plus many other store's and restaurants.... Great times and awesome people at the Har Mar Mall... Thanks Har Mar...

So many empty storefronts. Very sad to see. Very clean and the facility seems to be well-maintained but, again, just a shell of its former self. The biggest complaint I have is that you can't enter the anchor stores from the inside of the mall (Barnes and Noble, Michael's, Home Goods, etc.). We had lunch at Old Chicago and decided to walk inside to B&N only to discover that the interior entrances were all closed.

Use to be a nice place to shop, but now it's a dead mall and Roseville in general is going downhill. The new owners don't care and I have never seen security. I have seen homeless people sleeping in the corridors and have been harassed and threatened by teens and twenty somethings. I don't feel safe here and now only come when necessary. The stores have locked all the mall entrances and now you have to go outside to get to every store. I feel sorry for the small retailers inside who will be suffering.

I was surprised how clean and quiet the Mall is. I was upset about having to go outside and around in my wheelchair in order to enter the mall. That probably wont be happening in winter. Most of the stores have closed off access to the Mall by big gates locked. I truly wish there were more Stores & not so dark. I know people are afraid to go to malls now. I actually met & talked to a very nice man who was taking care of his infant Son while his wife shopped. There are good people everywhere. If we don't go places & meet people, we will never have Great Adventures!

It's clean, quiet, which for its size isn't really a bad thing. Just not a lot to see. Wear comfortable shoes because you'll need to hike it if you want to get from the shoe store near the main entrance over to the eyeglass place with not too much to see in between. I guess it would be okay for a lazy Saturday afternoon but not much else.

Clean, quiet, outdated, dying. I’ve always loved HarMar and I will continue to stop in until I can’t. Barnes & Noble no longer opens their access door into the mall and there really isn’t a lot of options for variety shopping once you get inside. The mall’s “maze” like layout is vintage and they truly do not make them like this anymore. Interesting place to visit, not a great place to shop unfortunately.

My favorite shopping area in the cities. I love that I can get low cost clothing and home goods at four different places in one mall. Love that Burlington is open later than most retail stores. Love that the younger kids don't get lost in the mall area because it's less crowded. It feels less pretensious and suburban than most malls. I can actually get what I need to buy, not just jewelry and expensive, trendy things. Not full of teens. I do wish everyone kept their interior mall doors open so we don't have to go outside to get between stores. And I'm super sad that old Chicago and Eddingtons are gone. We used to go to one or the other a couple times a month. And we miss Tuesday morning, it was our go-to for toys and gifts. I hope the other stores we visit regularly are able to stay.

It's a shadow of its past glory. The only mall I know of with a grocery store as an anchor. And for a shopping center is it has only one small set of public restrooms on the opposite end from the smaller eateries (I'm told there might be a second, but that's not what the restaurant staff told me).

Way to old fashioned. Hardly any stores open during the week and can't access cub foods from inside the mall. Needs to modernize and get with the present day world.

HarMar has many great stores, but it's seen better days. The place itself in nice, but they have many more empty storefronts than they used to. As it is, it's a great place to go for what's there (Barnes and Noble, Michael's Crafts, Marshals, Tuesday Morning, Home Goods, Burlington, and plenty of food places), I just wish it was more lively like it used to be. They also have Cub Foods, but it's not clean, it's gross, don't recommend.

Creepy dead mall is creepy. All of the anchor stores have their mall entrances gated off. It's so bad there isn't even a military recruiting office. It has one store. That store is cool. The mall itself sucks.

The best thing about this place is that it has a Kyoto sushi restaurant (all you can eat). This is really the only reason we go there... although they do have a Marshall's and some other dining places like Lee Ann Chins. If you are in the area, it's a definite spot to travel to for some great sushi 🍣.

It has some really good stores available at this mall. It's quite and safe along with a variety from shoes to discount clothing. Also offers indoor walking areas from store to store

The Big Main stores are excellent 5 stars but the little store spaces are almost all empty. Not really a mall until they get actual stores inside.

If you go to any of the restaurants when the mall is closed. Make sure you do not need to use the bathroom. I went to Smashburger to eat and had to go into the mall area that was open by the restaurants and noticed the bathrooms were closed, well there happen to be a security guard nearby, and I asked him to unlock it for me so I could use the restroom and he told me no. I asked him where the nearest restroom was, and he told me it’s in the mall, but the mall is closed, so I said I can’t pee then, And he said no. I went to ask an employee at Smashburger, where we ordered food, if I could get the key for the bathroom, and he told me no it’s for an employees only. Well, so I asked him then I can’t pee, and he told me no. Mind you it took 25 minutes to get our food.

This mall feels pretty run down. It has a few good stores but it's pretty empty now which I think adds to the run down feeling/look. I probably won't be back to this location anytime soon.

This spot is truly strange to me. The stores are in good shape, and the mall is clean.. It's small, and kind of creepy in the dark corners. Although, it doesn't need to be as run down feeling as it is. The place is in good condition, but it feels run down because of the lack of stores. Perhaps the owner/s could lower the rent a bit to get some smaller shops established. 🤔

It's a rundown old shopping mall. Still has s big bookstore. Great sushi restaurant. You go there because that's where the business you're going to is, not to browse and explore.

It was once a great place to shop with lots if small stores in between the big anchor stores. Unfortunately these small stores have mostly gone so it is an empty space. That has one advantage. If you elderly or have a young child to walk it is a big open space to do this. I will admit I am a little biased as I worked in the mall for 6 yrs when it was a thriving mall.

Awesome customer service. Many businesses in this mall.

I was in Marshalls the store is clean but theirs not enough inventory Yes there's customers but I just had a feeling folks love to shop & they're just gonna buy anything regardless or it's therapeutic due to Uncle Corona The biggest issue which is not being talked about is Pay Checks & Benefits If local manufacturing companies where offering $25 an hour as a base wage most of this so called shipping jam in our ports wouldn't be happening If these folks are able to paying these triple high shipping rates as they're saying Why wouldn't the factory be here & put 10% of those high rates to your local Citizens working for you & keep the rest Pay folks keep manufacturing companies local

Quiet place and able to social distance. Staff are friendly and ready to service customers. Bakery is smaller, and deli has fewer choices than most Cub Deli's. But makes up for it by having a larger $Dollar$ Section! (Woo-hoo!) Service center Ladies, always ready to ring me up with a smile and great Convo! Great Job Cub Team! *But just Remember to bring your Cub Rewards Card* 😄

There were two cashiers working and the line was incredibly long and took forever. The manger had to come up three times to help the cashiers with something and then would leave and go back to doing other things. Not sure why he would not make the shopping experience better for the customers and open another register. The person behind me ended up putting his items down and leaving as the wait was so long.

There used to be nice, cool shops here. I looked forward to coming here years ago, I wanted to try it out again and so many places are vacant and to much walking. There was an entrance to the movie theaters now it’s a Cub Foods. The malls are declining, all of them. Wish they brought all the shops they used to have back then back.

It’s alright but watch out for the giant pothole right outside of Marshall’s/Kyoto Sushi facing County B. It’s between the mall and the first couple rows of parking spaces, on the right side. I managed to not see it (wasn’t incredibly noticeable in my opinion) and my tire made the loudest BANG sound I have ever heard while driving. Luckily it didn’t do any damage and I am shocked it didn’t. Also, I miss the Freestyle Yogurt place that was there. Harmar does have a nice Barnes and Noble and Michael’s craft supply. Sally’s Beauty Supply is conveniently nearby. Kyoto Sushi is also good, and it’s fun to watch the cars drive by on Snelling Ave after car shows down at the Fairgrounds.

It's a decent place but nothing special it's got a lot of shops in it if you need some clothes and some shoes and it'll do a pinch

Great place to walk & window shop and lease a store. I really do miss the Hallmark store though 😫 but plenty of other stores still left there!

A lot of stores seem to be closing down here. All seems pretty empty most days. Navigation is a nightmare and with little to no signs around you could end up walking around for quite a while until you figure out where you need to go.

Stopped in after many years of living out of state. Seems like alot of the stores have left and some are still surviving. Stopped in for Burlington and famous footwear

I know malls are dead, but this one is so well kept up and very very clean, including the mens restrooms.!! And you know how nice it is to shop during the holidays with a mall that does not force you to walk out on the snow and subzero temps.. if you have not been here in a while come see how nice it still is!

  • 4/5 Melissa W. 1 year ago on Google
My friend and I stopped in at the mall to look for items. We stopped in at a rock store. My friend bought several rocks and I bought a carved stone horse. Then we were going to another store and it was closed. We were both disappointed about the closing early. HarMar Mall is a very nice mall to shop at.

HarMar is a nice little mall with some great shops, and the best ramen restaurant in the area. (Ichido ramen) I go there for Michaels, Barnes and Noble, ramen, and a few other nearby stores. It's always clean and never too busy.

  • 5/5 Pete B. 1 year ago on Google
Great place to go get some warm, indoor exercise in the winter by walking in loops around the mall with friends or family! Love that they have a Barnes & Noble here too. Some other interesting stores along this strip too. Will definitely be back!
