Wow! Very impressive and well worth the drive... Actors and scenes are high quality- truly a unique one of a kind haunt!!

A lovely homegrown haunt that gives you more than your money's worth! The path is dizzying, and it goes on forever. Given the price ($10!), and the ramshackle state of the joint from the road, I was thinking I'd be through it in 10-15 minutes. Instead it sprawled on and on. I have been to more expensive haunts in Cincinnati and Columbus, and this one lasted longer and scared me more. The scare actors were good, landing their jump scares perfectly. Some of the improv banter got a little stale though. My other critique was there were so many kids. I even saw one lady with a baby carrier. I personally think this haunt is way too intense for anyone under 15. But, if you're reading this review and deciding if it's worth driving all the way to Waverly. It is. It absolutely is!

Well thought out maze plan. The setup is all around pretty good. I would have liked to seen more spacing between groups or someone holding up the groups in the maze to make some more time but that's strictly off of some people being scared and speedwalking through. No fault of anyone else. In all I Def recommend. It's decently long, good jumpscares and actors. The teenager's we took loved it. Check it out, for the good price and having to wait in a decent line, it was absolutely worth it.

This was our second time coming to the Backwoodz Oddities last time we went for the general admission and this year we went for Hell Night expecting to have a great night and for the most part we did except about half way through the attraction we had several actors grab us by our hair and try to yank us to the ground and after asking them to let go they would grab on even tighter. Now I understand there is a waiver saying they will touch us but the way they were grabbing hair was honestly more like assault. When bringing it up to the girl at the desk she had told us “ if you don’t like it don’t come back” and we sure don’t plan to. Very poor customer service.

Had some good screams for their Hell Night. It was their more extreme event so some minor hair pulling and some pushing around but nothing outlandish. Side note: kinda karenish but I do wish the line was non-smoking. You're under an awning for a solid 40 minute wait with too many inconsiderate people who smoke standing next to you. Other than that, it was a pretty solid, enjoyable night.

This is worth the trip! Lots of actors. Mazes! Super fun!

We had loads of fun here, and felt we got a good bang for our buck on ticket price. I highly recommend it and hope we can visit again!
