A stunning lookout that is a gem to Ohio. Low traffic if you go at the right time. Sad to see trash along the path. Leave no trace.

Buzzard's Roost should be on your list for places to hike. The trails were not crowded, and 98% of the day, we didn't see anyone else hiking. Lots of wildlife from snakes to dragonflies to see. Ranger Bost was the best!

Buzzards Roost Nature Preserve has well maintained and marked trails. I found it easy to follow except the leaves made seeing the trail a challenge at times. The scenery and views were great. I'm glad that I had a few hours and finally got a chance to hike these trails.

There are only a few trails here, if you are only going to do one, do the red trail. It has the best overlooks, by far. Both trails are only a couple miles long, so most people should be able to get them both in. There are restrooms here, if you start on the red trail that branches off to the right from the parking lot, a short ways down you will come across a nicer restroom than the porta-potty at the parking lot. Anyway, lots of wildlife here, very nice overlooks, it's definitely worth coming to. Given how nice some areas are, I'd imagine this place will get very crowded in the Fall.

Great spot for a moderate or long hike. Great parking location. Beautiful Outlook. Not necessarily wheelchair friendly. Several spots to stop and sit. There's also a covered seating area off the entrance portion of the trail.

Navigating the steep, narrow road to get to this place is really the only downside. The trails and park itself is wonderful. Everything is well-maintained and worth the sometimes precarious drive to get there.

The Arch of Appalachia is some of the prettiest area in the state. This park is no exception. Two, two mile loops, both very pretty and very different. Trails are well maintained and not crowded.

It was a beautiful day as Range Bost guided us through the trails with so much history and information!
