This time last year, I was homeless and unaware that I could utilize HUD/VASH - I didn't consider it because of my character discharge. Then, while staying at a shelter in Chillicothe, the folks there helped me get access to what was available to me, and ever since the folks working at HUD/VASH have helped me tremendously in so many ways, from housing to assistance with bills, even small things like hygeine items and trips to the food bank. I am forever grateful for these folks and all they do, and will never be able to repay them adequately. ✝️💜🙏

From out of state and In town visiting family, wasnt feeling well. Stopped by to possibly get a prescription since i had recently dealt with an infection. The NP ordered up some tests just to be sure. All was well. Was treated great. Staff was fantastic, even the pharmacist.

Pathetic!!! Called three times today to get ahold of pharmacy and optometry, and combined I spent 38mins. of holding! Without speaking to a human! Still never talked with optometry before hanging up. My call is obviously NOT "important to you " or someone would have answered!

Avoid at all costs, especially mental health and the bronze team if assigned. Dr Nnoli & Nurse practioner Alex Wolfe will off the bat accuse you of opiod abuse if you state any reason for being in pain. Even if you have images proving you disabilities. They will down play your symtoms and even include mp's if you challenge their "Authority". Mental health is even worse. They will ignore you and not listen to a word you have to say. They will force their own modality of treatment down your throat even if you have proof of medication that already works for you.

I would give zero stars if possible. This place is a joke, their only concern is a paycheck not the health and well-being of our Veterans! Delt with them long enough, now getting my dad to a Dr that cares for her patients. Cardiologist is not worth your gas to drive there. He told my dad hes already lived past his life expectancy. Grat Dr. There!!!

My father and our family were treated so well. The doctors and staff made a very difficult time more bearable by the kindness and that was given to my father. Thank you all. God bless you!

I am a 60 year old veteran, I severed 9.5 years. I am very grateful for the Chillicothe VA, they have helped me in every way I’ve asked and they’ve always treated me with dignity. Thank you for helping veterans!

The doctors & nurses treated my fiancé very well! They seem to know their stuff. I’m so glad he ended up at such a great facility, where they actually care. He’s been to many that have not & I feel safe bringing him back here.

I have been getting care here for about 8 years. Before that, 1999-2014, I was seen at Dayton VA. I have had a couple bad occurrences but those are far outweighed by the good ones. It’s an hour drive, 20 minutes longer than Dayton VA for me, but worth it in the end.

These guys will sort out anything you need semi quickly and if they can’t they will refer you to an outside source.

I have rarely sought direct care at the Chillicothe VA, but in terms of the community care and travel staff, they are simply outstanding. Some of the most prompt and courteous folks I've encountered in any VA system.

Exceptionally FINE in every way! We were so PROUD to see how well planned and executed the Covid vaccine program was!. This was only our second encounter using the VA hospital and my husband Colonel Roger McNamara, JD, LLM, was so grateful that there was even a person to help him out of the car and into the building. He had just recovered form a broken hip and it was raining. MANY THANKS to you all!!!

My sister has been living at the VA since July. She is so content and is well cared for. The staff are so attentive and caring. You would think she was a member of their own family. I am always amazed by all that they do. She is one of a very few women residents there, so I think she receives a little TLC. Thank you to all and God bless the work you do.

I have been coming to this VA for a few months now and have zero complaints. All the staff I’ve interacted with have been courteous. They have done a pretty extensive work up on me to figure out the root of the cause of my issues, so I’m thankful for their time and services.

I never had no trouble with Chillicothe to me it's a better place and going today eventually they plan on shutting Chillicothe down making everyone go to Dayton.
