The room was clean and the staff was friendly but that's about as far as the positives go. The bathroom sink was clogged and drained very slowly. The water pressure in the shower was awful. There was no garbage can in the bathroom. The temperature in the room seemed impossible to regulate. There needs to be about twice as many dishes in the cupboard. There was no office chair and I had to call down to ask for one. The chair I got was terrible. I spend about a third of my nights in IHG hotels and this was the worst one I've been to.

I've stayed at the location 14 nights over the past 3 months for work. it was never a good hotel, but for about $75 a night with a kitchen, it was kind of worth it, but still not a good hotel, I'm pretty sure i did get a nasty staph infection from one of the stays that required medical attention, being cut open, and 4 days off work by doctors orders, however its impossible to prove where exactly you got infected so I didn't say anything, but I got a smaller one after a different stay three weeks later that didn't require being cut open, so I'm pretty sure this hotel is infected with staph. but where this hotel goes from the low end of adequate... to terrible, was this last stay, they knowingly gave me a room that had a mouse problem proven by the live glue traps under the bed baited with chocolate. we all know glue traps are inhumane to begin with, and should NEVER be used, but had it caught anything, i would have had to listen to its crying for its life until it starved to death, completely unacceptable. on top of that, but by now seems insignificant, the shower was literally held up with a band aid instead of replacing the bolts, and there was a live wire coming out of the heater/ac just laying on the floor bottom line, it wouldn't surprise me if the health department shut this location down

Stacey at the front desk was amazing, all the staff were. The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was so comfortable. There is a kitchenette with a full size refrigerator in the rooms with a Walmart close by so you don’t have to eat out. Complimentary laundry facilities which was so nice. Everything about this place is amazing. Nice and quiet place to stay. We are definitely coming back if not once a month then every other month just to get away from the stress and chaos at home. Don’t let any bad reviews discourage you because we were iffy about staying here but now we are happy we did. Just amazing!

This hotel is cheap and good for traveling with pets and was convenient near the highway. Front desk is 24/7 and they were open and accommodating on Christmas Eve and the man at the front desk was very friendly. However, the hotel is dirty and outdated. Our room barely seemed like it had been cleaned. The bed at least seemed to have clean sheets and bedding but the bathroom and floors were disgusting. Our dog was with us and kept finding random things on the floor he wanted to try to eat. The toilet and sink both looked like they’d been given a quick wipe but there was dirt and hair in the corners of the sink.

I recently stayed at Candlewood Suites Perrysburg, an IHG Hotel, during my visit to Perrysburg, Ohio, and it was an exceptional experience in every way. The hotel's location in a safe and secure area provided a sense of tranquility throughout my stay. With numerous restaurants nearby and a grocery store right across the street, convenience was at my fingertips. The amenities at Candlewood Suites Perrysburg were outstanding. The free gym allowed me to maintain my fitness routine, and the complimentary laundry facilities saved me time and money. The remodeled rooms were clean and well-appointed, and the availability of silverware made dining in the room a breeze. The thoughtful touch of complimentary fruit added an extra level of care. The staff at Candlewood Suites Perrysburg were friendly, professional, and always ready to assist. Their attention to detail and commitment to exceptional service made me feel welcome and well-cared for throughout my stay. In conclusion, I highly recommend Candlewood Suites Perrysburg, an IHG Hotel, for its convenient location, outstanding amenities, clean and remodeled rooms, and attentive staff. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, this hotel is sure to provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience. I look forward to staying here again in the future.

Clean, modern room. My room was like a small studio with a fridge, microwave, stove, large drawers and a flat screen TV. The stay was very pleasant. There are enough places to eat within a 5 minute drive. It was also wonderful to have a coffee/tea stand and a fridge downstairs available all day.

So here is what I liked about it. The room looked clean. The room has its own kitchenette with a full sized fridge, a small electric oven, a sink with garbage disposal, microwave, and cupboard space. It also had a full size office desk with ethernet connections available. The issues were however, the ethernet switch they provided wasn't working. I had to unplug it from the wall and use my own ethernet cable to get it working. Put their defective one back in when I left. Also, the climate control doesn't really work. It could be "controlled" from the unit itself or a wall unit. Neither one really worked. I left the heat on at 68, came back to the room later in the day after work to discover it was 82 in there. The two units never agreed on the temperature it was in there. And the wall unit did not seem to be able to exert any control over the heater cooler unit itself. Finally, the water pressure here is terrible. The hot water is inconsistent. Made it very difficult to take showers. So I was not very impressed with the place. When I first went into the room it reeked of axe body spray. Gross.

I spent several months for work at this location. The room was clean and the staff were helpful. Free laundry was so convenient. Right by grocery store and restaurant. The staff went above and beyond for my comfort.

Staff was amazing! A girl was getting trained when I arrived and her trainer was great! Stayed in room 332. There was a washcloth left behind that was clean but as a fellow house keeper I understand. Super clean hotel. Definitely would stay for a long while if I ever needed to. Definitely 10/10!! Thank you!

This was a perfect pet friendly stop driving from Minnesota to NY. They were able to accommodate me last minute and get rooms next door to each other. So nice to have a full fridge and sink when on the road driving a long distance. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. My only small complaint is that the room smelled a bit stale like old smoke.

The entire place reaks of burnt ethnic food. Our room smelled like an entirely different ethnic food. Evidence of the food was splattered all over the walls and table in our room. Tub in bathroom was full of black hair and the toilet seat has a cigarette burn on it. Newer building but not being maintained at all. They have trash cans all over the hallway catching god only knows what kind of leaks from the 2nd floor. It’s a shame…DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Our first time at a Candlewood and definitely our last.

No idea how this place has any good reviews, would have def made another choice if reviews reflected the truth, which is why I’m writing this now as there’s hardly a chance I’ll sleep tonight. The whole hotel STINKS to high Heaven, my room is filthy, other peoples hair everywhere, old Cheetos on the rug. It’s dingy and gross and still the price was high!

Great location. Enough parking. Rooms are well equipped. I was missed on the wakeup call. Newer smart TV allows for direct YouTube/prime/Netflix which is a great feature. 24hrs complimentary coffee as well.

Made reservations 1 week prior for a double bed, went to check in and gave it away, moved us to a single claimed there was an error.. Made reservations one month ahead for a double bed for 5 nights, arrived to be told again our room was given away after confirming it two days before. Desk clerk felt horrible and was great, got us a fold out at least... told us the new management made the decision. Had Stayed there the last 4 years for fishing trip never going back. The new management showed.

Called on Tuesday and made a reservation for Wednesday. Gave a credit card number and received a confirmation number. Wednesday we are 10 minutes away when I got a call. No message but I called back. Candlewood Suites canceled our confirmed reservation. We had to scramble to find another hotel.

I'm sure this was a very nice long-stay hotel at one time, but it is certainly showing its age in a big way. And, the housekeeping crew is in need of some training. In the bathroom, there were patches in the drywall that have not been re-textured. The shower curtain rod was falling out of the wall. The shower gel bottle was empty. The shampoo bottle had conditioner in it. In the kitchen, the microwave was dirty inside and the garbage had not been emptied before my arrival. The heater\AC had a sign instructing you to adjust the temperature on the wall thermostat - but that was thermostat was non-functional and didn't have power. The exterior doors were never secured. There were bones all around the patio\grill area. ... Other than that, the amenities were satisfactory. The bed was comfortable. The sheets were clean.
