I’m very impressed here. Me & my husband stayed here, Our room was beautiful exactly like the picture we choose. This is a very lovely, classy hotel. Everything was perfect the staff was friendly, the breakfast server was extremely nice. We chose the room with breakfast included, other wise there is a fee. Would give 5 star but there is not pool here, & you have to pay 32$ for parking; But you can bring your car in & out anytime for that night. Would definitely recommend this place & will return 😊 THANKS!!

Service is good, staff are courteous. Despite having no elite status, we still received 2 daily complementary bottled water. Breakfast was good given the price point. Location is also conveniently located near Rosslyn station with Metro and buses frequently serving the station. Also plenty of dining options nearby. Shops like Target and Safeway are also next to the hotel.

Overall, I feel I had a very negative experience with this hotel. The first night was pretty decent. After that, it went downhill fast. My second night, I could not get any hot water in the shower and ended up taking a cold shower. I also noticed the mini-fridge was unplugged, which I plugged in and quickly regretted as the noise from the fridge was loud and not tolerable. In addition to this, the elevator lights that indicate when the elevator was going up or down on my floor did not work. On another night, the fire alarms went off on my floor and the floor above me and went off for almost an entire hour. Making it impossible to go to sleep, which I then had a migraine and had to pay for the Tylenol from the hotel to get better so I could sleep. Then, my last night here, the air felt like it started to falter and would not keep the room cool like the rest of my nights here. Resulting in sleeping in a somewhat warm room. In addition to all of this, breakfast is not included. For the sheer price of this hotel, I would expect breakfast to be included. Save your money and go elsewhere.

The staff was super friendly, especially Robert and Kristine at the front desk and the bartender. I was very impressed by the cleanliness and modern sleek style of the hotel. The food and drinks at the bar were amazing, I recommend the shrimp linguine and the cheese spinach dip! In general my stay was quiet and peaceful in exception for some of the noise from the Metro station across the street. On the other hand, the Metro station being right there was very convenient for my trip. With all the mandates and safety concerns in DC, this hotel was the perfect alternative to still be close to DC without actually staying in DC.

I do want to say that the hotel services and food were amazing, and the room was amazing as well. The only reason I am giving it a 3-star is because the shampoo, conditioner, and soap products were not the best. I guess it was because I expected more out of this hotel since it is an international chain. My hair is normally extremely soft and silky and it's not picky with products but after using the hotel shampoo and conditioner, my hair felt like hay. Most of the hotels I've stayed out (all out the country) provided better quality toiletry products. Also, this is an expensive hotel, it would be nice if the quality could be a bit better.

The hotel is modern and good! Service is good! They are not cleaning the rooms by default, so we need to ask and there is no laundry during the weekend. Front desk support is always very kind and breakfast is good!!

This was the second disapointing experiance with Hyatt. I stayed 1 week at the 14thfloor of the Hotel. The rooms was OK, but the service was aweful. A) a group of unsupervised teenagers pushed in the morning every single floor button in the elevators (16 story building). B) the agreed rooms service started its room cleaning, but did not finsh and left dirty towls in the bathroom (the rest of the room remained unfinished). C) the replaced towels were dirty, its seems a lack of quality control in the hotel. The breakfast was acceptable and suffcient, if you tolerate that you will be asked at least three times about your room number (breakfast included?)! For me, never Hyatt Hotels again - sorry it did not work out for me.

Location was close to a conference venue. Downside: the 14th floor smells musty, shower water wasn't really hot, and you can hear doors close. Upside: service was great

Stayed here for 12 nights, and I just loved the location of the hotel and the services staff that help to keep the entire clean. One slight issue was dust found on some corner of the room (esp table). I guess this was due to the air-conditional that need services. Overall nice decent hotel that one can find in USA.

Really enjoyed staying here for the Marine Corps Marathon. If you’re looking for a hotel that’s walking distance to the start and finish this is it! Plus the hotel had great special pre and post race food options! It was also super easy to hop on the Metro and get anywhere else in the area. Room was comfy, cool and had everything I needed, save for asking for more regular coffee. Service was top notch too. Plus complimentary water bottles in the lobby. My only criticism is about the motion lights inn the bathroom. I’ve never seen that in a hotel before and no one wants to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night and have overhead lights automatically turn on.

Location is good, quiet neighbourhood. They provide breakfast which is good with the price point. Staff is courteous! Couple of things to note - no complementary water in the rooms, housekeeping is not upto par with the ratings.

Before finalizing any trip, I do a quick check on a few sites, including HoteIDuIIy.cᴏm My last trip was surprisingly affordable after that bit of research. I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights while in town for a show at the Warner Theatre in DC. I love that the hotel is right next to the metro and a ton of restaurants and coffee shops to choose from. I had questions about my stay and loved that I could send a text to the hotel using the Hyatt app. The people at the front desk were also very nice. I’d stay at this location again!

The receptionist who checked us in had a bad attitude and was quite rude. The one who checked us out however, was very friendly and seemed easy to get along with. The room we got was alright. It didn't really have a good view since it looked into a building that was under construction and not much else, and the water pressure in the shower was very high, which caught me off-guard but I quickly got used to it. The location is very good. It's close to the metro as well as some stores like Target and Safeway, and nearby restaurant choices were not bad either.

Great staff. Every interaction with a team member was a positive experience. Great location. An easy walk to Georgetown or through Court House to Clarendon, depending on your direction. Just next to Metro as well, one stop into DC and on three lines. Good, clean room (but a little dated). Less spacious than the Hyatt Place locations in Court House and Dupont, but still fair size. The beds need to be replaced. Each significantly sunk in in the upper-middle of the mattresss and made for an uncomfortable sleep each night. Unfortunately, just because of this, I checked out a night early. This is not a reflection on the team. I had a place I could go to and didn't raise the bed issue to them - but it is something travelers should at least be aware of.

The room was not clean. I could not sleep all night. I have called before 8:00 a.m. to ask for someone to clean the room. I came back at 2:30 p.m. and it still was not cleaned. So I took my tip back. I went to the business center to avoid being in my room. The business center's computer kept shutting down every five minutes. I have allergy. I know the room was not cleaned because when I pulled the sheet I found things that should not have been there if the room was cleaned. The staffs were nice.

We stayed at this hotel when we went to DC. It may NOT look like it, but this hotel is very much centrally located. We did not have a car, but the train station is just a block way, and we had no problem going to and from DC using the train. Away from the hotel on the other side, there were plenty of different types of restaurants and diverse food option to choose from.

Love this hotel for my annual workshop! First, I'm always happy to see Robert on check-in! He is awesome! I always hit the Safeway and Target a block away. Had to get the cappuccino maker switched out for a Kerig. Only 5 stops from DCA. Close restaurants. Great stay!

My partner spent the night at this hotel, and overall the experience was great. Our room was spacious, very clean, and up to date. It’s also close to the metro, which made it easy for my partner and I to explore DC while we were there.

We had a good weekend at Hyatt Centric. The room was great, view was decent, bed was a little too firm for my liking and the hotel restaurant was pretty standard. Close to an Target (express) and Safeway with lots of local restaurants and bars. Whenever we had a question or concern regarding the mix up for valet parking they handled it quickly and efficiently. The cleaning staff were nice and went out of their way to make the stay clean & comfortable. Valet staff were nice & helpful. They may have been understaffed which made getting your car from them long at times.

Good locations and good place to stay while you are in VA and DC. The room is very cozy and clean. The Bar is small but serves good drinks, we ordered the regular and strawberry with regular fries. One thing we observed is when we are having breakfast the staffs are moving around frequently which makes us uncomfortable as if they are pushing us to finish our food quickly, I know they have to check the people for their needs but I suggest that they limit their movement. But nevertheless, the young staffs are always smiling and polite.

Nice hotel. What you would find in a normal hotel. The breakfast was good but it used to be more fresh. I asked an employee and she said due to COVID-19 they had to make more things packaged.

overall decent stay, but a little pricey for what you get. Room was showing it's age a bit, which is fine, but the size was very small for over $200/night. Could barely open the shower door and still get in, had to stand directly next to the toilet, then open the door to get in. Staff was very friendly and the night lights under the bed were nice for the middle of the night treck to the rest room. You get more for the money and breakfast is included for the residence inn by Marriott right down the street, but I'd stay here again if Marriott is full.

Great hotel and location, had to switch 3 hotels until finally found this one. The best part was the service, my check in was at night and the night time staff was kind and welcoming as well as highly professional.

Really excellent customer service; helped me navigate a lost credit card situation with ease! My trip very easily could've been difficult, but they made the check-in process painless. The rooms are nice and clean - I especially appreciate the drybar hair dryers and 24 hour gym. My room did have a lot of noise from the metro, but that can't be helped.

This is a nice hotel. Very nice. Room was large with a great view. Food in the restaurant was great. Really good for hotel food. Th only real issue that keep it from 5 stars is the lack of room service. I wanted to get to my room and relax. But instead I had to manage time to come back down to eat. But if you are ok with that, then this is a 5 star hotel.

Stayed here with my 9yr old son on a vacation to Washington DC. Very close to the metro and restaurants (fast food to bars to fine dining). The beds were comfortable, the room and bathroom was clean. The building across the way from our window was being demolished and my son enjoyed watching them push off large pieces of concrete from 20 stories up and then hitting the ground. At night it was pretty scenic looking out from our 8th floor room. I didn't have the room serviced since it was a short stay. Valet parking is on par with other hotel areas. Fortunately I had no problem with valet but since there is one person, I can only assume if you try to get your car at a prime time during the day, be prepared for a wait. I didn't use my car at all during the trip and upon leaving it was on time and waiting for me when I utilized their text system to request it ahead of time. I don't eat a lot for breakfast so I didn't check out the buffet but we had stayed one night for dinner and it was very good. Check-in and check-out was a breeze with no surprises to the bill. Would certainly stay again.

Good location, close to the Metro. We had a view of the Jefferson Memorial from our room. Staff was very friendly.

This hotel is pretty old inside. The rooms are pretty small and a bit outdated. The elevator also broke while we were there. They got it back up and running in about an hour. The best part of the stay was the location. Walking distance to a bunch of restaurants, coffee shops and more.

I stayed here for 7 days in room 1611 (Jan 29 - Feb 5, 2022) and thoroughly enjoyed it. Every staff member was nice. The dΓ©cor was lovely around the hotel and inside the room. I asked for a nice view and was pleasantly surprised when I drew the blinds to see National Cathedral in the distance. Whomever was doing the housekeeping, did it well and did it thoughtfully. She took care of my stuff better than I did. I came back to the room one day to see my toothbrush, instead laying on the countertop how I placed it, was instead laying on a nicely folded hand towel. That made me smile and think, "How nice of that lady. She didn't just take care of my room, but she took care of me in a subtle, thoughtful way." It was neat to think the person I barely caught a glimpse of once and whom I never spoke to was taking such wonderful care of me and my room. Every day I came back, I was at ease at how pristine the room appeared. Please thank her for me and give her a bonus--better yet a raise. If I could offer suggestions on where you might make improvements, it would be in how customers access their Netflix, Disney+, Pandora on your television (which was a generous size I might add). Instead of requiring us to cast from the phone to the monitor--which required me re-connecting to the TV every time I came back to the room--I prefer logging into these services directly from the TV (i.e. I input my username and passwords into these services directly within the TV's settings) and then they stay connected the rest of my stay. Then, at the end of my trip, assure me with a notice within the settings area that my logins will all be logged out of upon my stay ending. A hotel employed that method, and in comparison to Hyatt, I thought theirs was more convenient and offered me a one-time setup and go vs. a daily hassle. While I loved my room, I thought the water pressure was lackluster. I spoke with several of my classmates, however, and none of them had the Europeans-style shower like I did. Their more classic wall mounted shower head was giving them all generous water pressure. If that shower-style was the cost of me having that wonderful view, then I'm glad I made that trade-off. However, it was annoying not feeling like I was getting a good cleansing in the shower. Might be an issue if I bring my family next time. Again, I stayed their for 7 days. I ate daily at both the Clubhouse and their bar-restaurant. Both were excellent. A Pilipino hostess, I believe named Emee, was a real treat. She was so sweet, kind, and just made me smile. And the food at the bar-restaurant was always good. I had the shrimp linguini, pizza, burger, spinach and steak rolls, and the chicken wings and crab dip. I like ever single one. Saved me a trip in the cold too. Thank you guys for the great stay.
