This is an amazing little town with tons of history. Coblestone streets and beautiful buildings that capture your heart.

Wismar is a beautiful city, the buildings are awesome!

Stopped here for a drink after walk the Markt. Large beer and wine, my wife asked for a glass of tap water with her wine. The beer was not cold I checked with the waitress who just waved it away. We get the bill and there's a €2.50 charge for tap water. Once again I ask the waitress, who sternly tells me you must pay for water in Germany. Not if you've ordered other drink they don't. Go elsewhere !!!

Beautiful water tower located on the main square. It's a massive edifice with many unique designs engraved on it. Free to look at and admire. Definitely worth stopping for a few photos.

It use to be the source of water supply to the people. There's nothing much to see.

Was in Wismar in 1990, Wasserkunst hasn't changed, the square and town have had a makeover!

Food was simple but tasty and a big portion. Waiter didn't speak English which made all experience slightly complicated but with the help of hands and couple of words I new in German, we succeed.
