We tried to eat dinner on the first night but completely booked so we tried for the second night but also booked. We finally got a reservation during lunch, which was on a weekday so quite easier. Definitely book early if you wanna eat here for dinner! This is a popular place! Food is very fresh and delicious. Dining room is spacious and cozy with nice ambience and sea themed decorations that's modern and not cheesy.

What a place. What an amazing experience. First of all, the staff are attentive, knowledgeable and can answer questions on the spot. Second, the food is perfect. They somehow manage to make that which is mundane into an exciting experience both for your eyes and the pallet. We will be back.

Amazing food and large portion - whole plates was really whole fish, great Riesling and atmosphere. Service was little bit slower, but on Sunday no big issue with that.

The waiter, Jojo, was very charming, attentive, friendly, nice and efficient! Even though the restaurant was fully booked on Saturday evening, he took our orders very quickly, and our drinks were served within 5 minutes! And in less than 20 minutes, our main courses were all served! We all had “fish’n chips”. The batter was very crispy and the fish was very delicious! Probably the best fish’n chips that I had ever had so far in Germany! Thanks a lot for the great service and delicious dinner! ❤️👍🙏🥰 ps. I love the cute little bottle of malt vinegar!

Very friendly staff, excellent fish and a nice house white wine. Went for lunch and everything was perfect. Meals a bit large for lunch, but very well executed. Reservations seem like a must, but managed to get a late lunch table without. The cod and the mackerel were both superb. As was the house salmon starter.

These guys know hospitality. A very good, modern and more than basic place with a smart curated menue. Starters, main, drinks - all fits nicely together. Of course it is about fish, and they know how to do it in a way everybody loves it. Even the fish and chips are made in a genuine way and it comes with vinegar. Splendid!

Fangfrisch was so good, I ended up going back a second time the night after to try another option on the menu! I tried both the Salmon Burger one night (dining on my own) and the Fish & Chips (dining with 2 friends). Both were fantastic! Great portions. Amazing flavour. Good atmosphere. Highly recommend stopping in here if you are in Lubeck for the night (or two)

Very good food, one of the best fish and chips that I had, although the catfish that they use for that is a bit fat, and it’s not your typical crispy fast-food style fish&chips. The soup was perfect, I highly recomend starting with it. The płace is quite crowded so it’s better to make an reservation.

A very nice place, very nice, friendly and natural staff and beautiful and smiling girls. The food is great, the prices are a bit high, but it's fish and freshly cooked, so...hey! it was worth every cent. I love the place, I will come back. Bring Romanian memories to the beaches of Romania with Cherhanale, with the best fish food in the world. The place looks fantastic but needs a little more... vintage look, not too modern.Toilets are clean too but ..too small, barelly fit in🤔🙄

We had a wonderful family lunch here. Great ambiance and service with farm/sea to table so everything was super fresh, which is why it tasted so good!

Had the fish and chips. Was told it was make from catfish. Something I had never had. Turned out to be great. The restaurant is dog friendly and we were link enough to have a dog sitting at the next table while we were having lunch. Lots of pats for the good boy. Good location and good quality food. The marzipan moose dessert was excellent.

I had the fish and chips… it was so fresh and crispy, one of the best I had! Their servings were very generous, and it came with a tasty 🥗 (to cut through all the expertly fried goodness). Their local 🍺, the Moinsener, was great! Awesome, cozy environment to boot. :)

Honestly, I rarely write reviews but I feel morally obliged to do this one, so that other people who come to Lübeck are aware. This was fish that was extremely overpriced, for very mediocre quality - fried fish that was borderline burnt and soggy on the other side, a whole 2 euros that you had to pay to get any sauce on the side. We waited more than 30 minutes for our order to materialise. We were so disappointed by this first meal in town, and subsequently ate better fish for much cheaper elsewhere, in little stalls on the outside of the old city. Would recommend avoiding.

Sehr toll!!!!! I got the recommendation from a friend who was born in Lübeck to go here. It was the freshest shrimp I have ever had in Germany. Cooked and seasoned perfectly! Recommended when you visit Lübeck. 👍👌

I am not surprised this place has so many great reviews 😍 the interior, the food, the staff - it works. Reservations are recommended, I also love that you can reserve online. We had the fish and chips with fries and the marzipan mousse as dessert. I have never tried lavendel lemonade and I enjoyed it. Delicious!!! Everything is so so good. Highly recommend!

Good food, great service, and a fun atmosphere with views of the water. Prices are a bit high for me. The fish and chips was good, but I don't know that it was 22.50€ good.

Food was great. Nice fresh fish. Very yummy. But they forgot our order that it took so long to be served. But in the end, it was ok experience.
