Seems like the closer you get to Roswell, the cooler the trails get! And this is probably my favorite stretch of the Greenway. Found a nature trail behind the Mansell shopping center that isn't listed on Google Maps. Great place for an afternoon walk.

I parked in the lot near Old Alabama Rd and the walking and biking trail entances to the woods were right there. I walked and the trail was easy. I did the forest trail in 30 minutes. When I exited the trail it put me on a wide paved path. Most of it was shared with bikes but eventually branched off for bikes only and pedestrians only paths, still paved. There was many bridges that I liked. It was nice exploring. I started in Roswell and 3 miles later was in Alpharetta. It was easy to walk and not feel exerted. I eventually had to turn back because it was getting dark. You can spend a whole day walking the park. Many people walking and on bikes were there. A few had dogs. I also saw some deer up close and were able to take pictures. They didn't seem fearful. The park is a nice integration of nature and structured park system. Some waterways were dried up but still had creeks and I think a riverway in some areas. I highly recommend this place for all people. It's easy to walk even in casual shoes.

Beautiful easy paved trail, I'm more scared of the spider webs that you don't see above your head when you're walking those freak me out. Came home after my walk to shower to find a little green silk worms in my sports bra... Trying to do better about becoming one with nature but I'm so scared of everything that crawls and flies. Lol Please come enjoy this beautiful trail.

I love coming out here, definitely worth the drive. And I love seeing the wildlife. I always deer no matter what time of day that I'm there and usually something else different each time. This time I saw a totally white albino squirrel which I've never seen before. Wish I'd gotten a picture but I did get some video of this young buck next to the trail.

Relatively flat and long trail good for long distance run/walk. Also mostly shaded although some portion not covered and hot during summer noon time but that can be expected. Not enough parking space right at the trail head so i normally park a bit on the top near the entrance.

A very good trail for jogging and dog walking. Also see a lot of people hiking there.

Parking at the Roswell trailhead was a little crazy. Nice easy to walk or ride trail. The area is clean & no road crossings. Appears to be very safe.
