Place is good and clean, though service can be a bit slow. Sometimes they’re just understaffed or something and it happens. Food is good. Good wraps and clubs!

The epitome of incompetence. Only person in the entire restaurant and took me over 20 minutes to get a fork for my salad. The pretransitioning boy who was working the front was as rude as they come must he all the hormone medicine. Girl with the orange hair tries but rest of her staff let's her down. Would clean house in this mess as they will go out of business. Get catering from this location and eat here usually once a week. With terrible customer service like this will not be back.

The food is great. The price is amazing. The staff basically are terrible. We only go on Sunday and they are always rude and uncaring. More often than not they are short with you. If you ask questions they often snap. There is a lot of unprofessional talk between the kitchen staff and the front of house staff. Today was the final straw for us. We walked in and stood at the counter and had to wait 2 minutes for the server to finish a personal conversation with another server. There was no one else waiting. Then the server rolled her eyes and waved vaguely at the board when my husband asked what sides were available. He asked another question and got the same response. Her attitude was terrible. Honestly made us feel like we were interrupting her day. While we were talking to her ordering, kitchen staff was hollering at her, again about personal things, not work related. We were taken back by the loudness of it and they laughed when they saw our reaction but did not apologize. Server basically threw our meals on the table when they came. Half the tables were still dirty even though the place was quiet. The gentleman next to us was asked if he wanted anything with his soup and he asked for crackers. After 10 minutes he got up and went to the counter to get them himself. Overall I would rather go to a different location then go back to the Roswell store. It’s seriously horrible. Not because of the food. But because of the staff.

My wife and I went to McAlisters Deli to have a late brunch we decided to try the Rueben sandwich. The sandwich was great but we noticed one thing that made their score drop. The young lady at the counter started scratching her head and hair which is a no no in the food industry especially when there are people watching. The photo below will show you what I mean. Additionally I will not be back🤮🤮🤮👎👎👎👎

I got the club sandwich. I didn't know that it came with wheat bread, I would have preferred white bread. It was ok. I was disappointed with the sides I received. My fruit salad was half empty in the container and it might as well be called a cantaloupe salad. My SO's tomato & cucumber salad was half empty in the container. He said his Rachel sandwich was good. The tea was good, I got the peach puree in it.

First time eating here and the last. I had the spicy southwest chicken I believe was the name. That's all it was, just spicy. No taste. Then I order the cucumber and tomato salad. 5 freaking dollars for literally a fist full. That was a rip off. I gave it a 2 because the other person liked their sandwich and the cake was okay. It was suppose to be a chocolate cheesecake but, it didn't taste anything like a cheesecake. That $51 order could've been spent at a better restaurant.

McAlister’s is a great spot for fresh sandwiches. The staff are extremely nice and helpful. I really like the club, the grilled chicken, and the French dip sandwiches. The baked potatoes, chili, and salads are also good. This deli is the place to go for delicious sandwiches!

EDITED: The general manager called back and said they had an issue from the IT team so that the updated times weren't on the website. All restaurants are having staffing issues now, and you can't make IT do something, so I'd hate to not acknowledge that they did everything they could. (They did also offer a refund, although I didn't ask for one.) Basically, mistakes will happen for everyone when you serve a lot of people, but they did all they could to make it right. I did appreciate that. --- ORIGINAL: The store closed early (7pm instead of 9pm), but I received no notice/call they were closing before 9pm that day. So when I arrived to pick up the food at 7:40pm, the restaurant had closed there was a sign on the door saying they were closing early that day, and I could not receive my order. I didn't really need a refund: Stuff happens when staffing is tight. But when I called the next morning to ask about it, the person who answered said "Ok" as if there was no issue and there was no point to the call. If that is the normal order of how they operate as she implied, I would suggest online customers to call after making online orders to make sure they will be open, especially after 5pm. You are not going to receive any notice if they're closing early that day online, and it will be on you if you don't arrive before their earlier, unlisted closing time. It appears to vary based on staffing: you won't know until that evening. I wouldn't have even called if I made the order, say, at 8:50pm, I got there at 9:01pm, and they were closed. That would have been on me. I wouldn't have even called if I knew they were closing early either by website or if someone called me. I should have gotten there on-time. Neither was the case here. Still, the food is always on-brand McAllister's, and it's always hot. By no means are all of my experiences worth 1-star. Usually, it's great. I just can't feel good about paying for an order I couldn't receive and not being given notice that the store was closing before their official website said.

McAlister's Deli is the place to be for a good quality sandwich! I got the Turkey Garden Fresh and the balsamic gives it that zing far better than the standard mayo/mustard with other companies. The Mac n Cheese is killer too. Everything was hot and fresh and the service friendly. Looking forward to trying other menu options.

DJ is truly amazing. Even being understaffed he made my visit an extremely pleasurable one. He carried the weight of three employees with a smile and made sure I left smiling as well. Thank you DJ!

My first visit was awesome. The salad was delicious and service was friendly. On my second visit they didn't allow people in, which was fine but, the chips they'd given me for that same delicious, beautiful salad on my first visit....were as stale as they could be. How do you not check your inventory in a restaurant?

I went here tonight for dinner. It looks like they had a nice menu to order from. We ended up leaving before we had a chance to order. They only had one person working the counter with no cook in sight. I also noticed that several people were waiting at the tables with no food being delivered. The staff / management seem to be very poor here.

The food at McAlister's deli is fresh and delicious. There are various options especially the different toppings for the potato, The salads and sandwiches all looked good. This was my first visit and I wasn't sure what to try first. The carrot cake was tasty and I enjoyed the experience and will certainly be back.

Great location. Good food. The employee shortage is definitely impacting this location however. Wish they were able to get food out faster, but overall good.

Food was okay, not worth the price we paid, but that's fine. The problem was how slow it was and unsafe we felt. We had to walk past around 6 men to get to the front door. They made very loud threats that the next person they saw with their phones out, they would get them. Unfortunately, this door was locked, so we had to walk through this group again and go to the other door. Inside, you could still hear how loud this group was and they were there until we left. Driving past this restaurant a few different times and they are there often. There was hardly anyone inside, both customers and employees. It was prime dinner time and there were three employees and two other clusters of customers, all waiting. We ordered and waited for 25+ minutes for our food. Got home and we were missing some items.

We went for a quick dinner. A quiet place, but busy. Your order at the counter and theu bring your drinks then food. There is an option to order at the table with the app. We ordered a smokey chicken sandwich on ciabatta bread with side salad, a choose 2 - 1/2 French dip with loaded baked potato, potato salad and fruit cup. All was great. We even had to take some home as leftovers. Friendly staff - we only saw 2.. The cook and counter person, but they did a fine job. Place was clean.

I've been coming to McAlister's Deli for 20+ years, primarily for the sweet tea because it has always been outstanding. However, for the past couple of months it's been hit or miss, mostly miss, being pale and cloudy in appearance, foamy at the top, and worst of all, tasting like a combination of reused tea bags and lemonade (both the sweet and unsweetened versions). I've asked many of the servers (who BTW are always helpful!) if they're aware of the changes and no one seems to have any answers, although some have said other customers have also complained, so I don't think it's just me. Also, for the past several weeks, it's been on nearly a daily basis. I can't even drink it, it's so bad, nothing like the fresh brewed taste that is McAlister's signature tea. At this point, I think I'll just stop coming to McAlister's and either start brewing my own or look elsewhere. I don't know if management is aware of this, but if not, they should be. Their signature beverage is being adulterated, either wittingly or not, but something should be done to resolve it.

The service at this place has dropped tremendously. I went to get a “quick lunch” and ended up waiting a whole hour for 2 simple sandwiches. The restaurant is not clean at all. Save your time and money; do not eat here!!

I come here every week, Matt & Keisha does a phenomenal job given the staff shortage. The sweet tea is the best in Georgia, Matt is always so pleasant & gets orders out super speedy! My only concern is that management gets more staff on shifts! So wait times can be minimized. I love this location & def recommend!

Tried to eat here but girl at counter said it would be 30 minutes till we could receive our order because they were short handed so we left. The place wasn't that crowded. That is unacceptable although we appreciated her telling us that ahead of time.

Food was great, but the kid running the register tipped himself 15% without asking. He reached around to the credit card machine to make it look like he had to push a button to make the reader ready. We typically tip 20-25% at restaurants, but this was literally theft. If I had reached my hand into the register, they would have called the cops. This was NO DIFFERENT than him sticking his hand in my wallet. We won’t be back.

Decor is nice. It’s spacious. Cozy and friendly staff. Has that sweet deli vibe. Enjoyed my chicken club sandwich. Tasty and soft very chewy. Mac and cheese was a delight also

Horrible. Ordered a Savannah Chopped salad w Avocado through the app. Avocado was brown and stiff, chicken was balled up in a chunk on top of the salad and no almonds. There was only one lady working in the entire store. Don't recommend and will not return.

First time eating here. They’re clearly understaffed, which can be overcome by a great menu but this wasn’t it. It was pretty disappointing to hear the person that appeared to be the manager and the cashier both blame the server with Down’s syndrome for tickets being rung up with incorrect table numbers, causing her to deliver wrong food to wrong tables. I heard both of them say to her ‘ you’re messing everything up,’ Outside of that, it was mediocre, overpriced food. My ticket was $70 for 5 sandwiches.

I'd love to review the food - however they decided to close early today. Simple note on the door. I remember a time when businesses actually cared and believed in customer service. Not any more. Last chance with this location. We won't be back.

Decent sandwiches - not exactly the cleanest dining room - no idea about why they brag about the tea. We had an early dinner here tonight and the most interesting thing was the people who came through…it was quite the collection. I had the club which was decent but skimpy. My wife’s Italian was okay - she didn’t care care for it being heated. The tea was a good brew but it needed more sugar - barely even sweet at all. The dining room had several dirty tables and lots of trash on the floor and around the outside tables. I’m glad I tried the place - but it won’t be a favorite.

I love this location. The manager in training Ashanti is awesome! The food is consistently good and the lemonades are always smacking. We tend to visit this location for breakfast even if it's not too on our route because of the great consistency across the board. Food doesn't take long so makes for an easy stop while running errands or for a breakfast date.

Compared to the Texas locations, this one is a five star like they are. Very friendly staff and the sandwiches are made to perfection. I love the McAlister’s Club Sandwich and the Roast Beef. The restaurant itself is clean and they have staff dedicated to keeping it that way.
