When we came in it was not very busy and were seated right away. The staff was very friendly and helpful. As soon as we sat down they brought out chips and salsa which tasted good. Then we got tacos and a shrimp quesadilla to share. I am very picky about quesadillas because sometimes you don’t get enough for what you pay for. But here the quesadilla was just right and tasted great. I also tried the shrimp taco which was filling for its size. The sweet tea was delicious too.

This was a 1 star experience before the food came. The food tasted very good. Now that we've gotten the good out of the way, let's consider the rest. Why would they choose this host to be the first impression this restaurant makes? He had the personality of a wet paper bag. He sat us, then forgot to tell any of the servers about us. So we sat, and waited, and sat, and waited. Finally I sad something and he went and got a server. We placed our full order since we had plenty of time to contemplate it. I ordered a margarita to accompany my meal. I could see the bartender quickly prepare it. Then it sat at the server station and was ignored. I got up and got it myself. Food came and was good. The bill came and we had sticker shock. $18 for a burrito (which they messed up) and almost $25 for lunch fajitas. It wasn't that good, and considering all the other issues, it's safe to say we'll drive by next time.

Been wanting to try HOLA! for a while now, & I’m so glad I finally did. Everything was delish: the tacos, rice and beans, my margarita. Heck, even the chips and salsa slapped! I got a fishbowl margarita and good lord it was huge AND strong. If you want some good Mexican in Roswell in a fun laidback atmosphere, HOLA! is where it’s at.

Probably the best Mexican food in the area. Awesome atmosphere with an indoor/outdoor bar, huge patio, booths galore and an enormous community table. Very good drinks and food + tasty salsa. Ask for Mick, he is the best!

The food was okay. It was definitely overpriced for the flavor of the food. The service might be the only reason I’d come back, our waitress was sweet, and responsive and took care of us. The atmosphere is cafeteria style eating. Bunch of smaller tables with no walls and very open seating. They were doing trivia when we went. Although we didn’t participate. I will say if you like to drink in the summer they have an awesome bar where giant sliding windows can be open, and they have misting fans as well

Great food and great services. We ordered the Lola, Lola, tacos and Molcajete (grilled meat variety served in a Hot Lava Bowl) and all were delicious. Our server was super friendly and did an excellent job taking care of us. They also have outside seating and are dog friendly too.

I've dined here several times & they never disappoint. The food & drinks are GOOD! I wouldn't drive 50min away if it wasn't. Jennifer & Angela are great bartenders. Shout out to the bar backs!!!! They keep everything CLEAN!! The manager Carlos is very attentive & welcoming.

Good food and great service! This was my first time at Hola as well as the friends who invited us to join them. We were all pleasantly surprised with the food and the service. There were lots of interesting choices and everything tasted fresh and freshly prepared. I want to go back and try some other choices to really get a feel for the place but so far so good.

Food was excellent! Our party of 15 was completely satisfied. From the enchiladas, to the burrito, to the fajitas- everything was great. Fresh guacamole and awesome chips. Fun atmosphere and great ambiance. Clean restrooms, all private. Service was great. The steak fajitas are cooked to order, I like medium/medium rare- they were perfect! Tres leches/ shortcake dessert was delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Came here yesterday for the first time, and had an amazing experience! I didn’t know they host trivia on Sunday nights, and it seemed like all of Roswell showed up to play. The hostess was so sweet and awesome, the manager came by often to check in with our table and others, and our server (Juan) was just over the top phenomenal! He made great food suggestions, made sure we always had full drinks and full basket of chips, and was overall just wonderful. Juan even went out of his way to relocate us to a table indoors when he felt some rain. And of course, the food was very delicious. The Mexican pizza was probably the winner at my table, the tacos a close second. Overall, delicious food and outstanding service!

I ordered the borrego tacos with street corn and charro beans. I recommend asking for some limes or your favorite hot sauce for the tacos, the taste was good by itself, but I enjoyed the extra contrast of flavors. We couldn't stop finishing the salsa and the guacamole was gone as soon as it arrived. Overall, very pleased with the meal!

Amazing Mexican food in Roswell area. Their chicken is amazing, I tried both grilled and pulled chicken and both were great! They have welcoming staff (Andres guided us to choose the best fit to our taste. Thank you, Andres.) which make your experience even better. Salsa and chips is on the house so you can try their signature salsa with chips while waiting for your food.

I am amending my previous review. Maybe my first visit was a one off. I say this because the food on this visit was awful. No flavor in the beans or carnitas. Between the three of us, everyone had issues with the food. All around, not a good experience. Initial visit: I really appreciate good service. The waiters here were super on point. Quick and attentive define my takeaway. The drinks were good and quite tasty. The jalapeño margarita was really good. The ice cold Pacifico draft hit the spot. Chips and salsa are simple accouterments that get the party started. While I had read other reviews that dinged them, I found no issues. The chips were fresh and crispy. The salsa was a bit different. A little more of a Ranchero style without too much heat. I liked them. There are a couple food items I always use as a barometer at Mexican restaurants I am visiting for the first time. In this case, I opted for carnitas tacos. How well pork gets roasted can tell you a lot about a place. At Hola, the carnitas were a smidge dry. The flavor was good, a bit muted due to the dryness, but ok. They were fresh, though. I paired the tacos with a nice little bowl of charro beans. Pretty yummy. My friend had a chimichanga. Not my thing, but they are on a quest to find the best chimi in the Atlanta area. After giving a taste, I would qualify it as a fajita chimichanga. Drizzled with cheese and sprinkled with queso fresco, lettuce and radish, it was damn good. Overall, I am on the fence with this place, especially being out in Roswell. I will return and try a few more items.

Food needed seasoning! You come to a restaurant for the food & I didn’t really enjoy it much. Besides the food they have lovely employees. There food menu does have all sorts of options & they have plenty of parking.

Great food. Live band was there when my husband and I went. It was just all around great vibes. Short wait on seating (weekend). We went twice already so we obviously like it. The street corn and the ceviche was delicious.

One of the best mexican places i have been to. Every dish is kind, delicious and rich of flavors. Jalapeno margaritas are awesome. I wrote in plural cause you have to take at least two.

Had coin to spend, and nice tips to drop, but left after ~7 minutes and no drink service. The place was less than half full, so not busy. Surprised the help wasn't hanging out at the smoke ring behind the restaurant 🚬 😂

Me and my wife eat here often great food. The service was exceptional tonight only because Angela M was our Waitress. She was on top of everything thank you Angela M for a pleasant experience.

Surprising lower prices than other places, if you like sports is the perfect place since it has a numerous TVs and projectors around the room. And most important my son food he definitely enjoyed it.

We had lunch on the patio at Hola last Friday. Despite the 90° weather the fans and mist made it quite comfortable. We ordered lamb and salmon tacos. The lamb was exquisite! We enjoyed the salmon as well. We were somewhat disappointed in the frozen margueritas. However, the service was excellent and the overall experience was quite good. We plan to return for more of the delicious lamb!

Near the best mexican restaurant in Roswell

HOLA! Taqueria & Bar is one of the best restaurants in North Georgia. Great food, good portions, inviting atmosphere, positive experience all around. Shout out to Richard and Mary Angela! They are so kind, provide the most amazing service, and always remember to say hello to our son, who clearly remembers them as well! We have gone multiple times and have NEVER been disappointed by the food, service, or friendliness felt here. Keep up the good work, we will see you next week ;)

I love this place! My husband says is far away and he best Mexican Food in Roswell. The place it’s so charming, the people so easy going and friendly. The special are outstanding. And the oreo churros... beyond words! Definitely, we will be going back soon! And I almost forget about the cheese dip, it didn’t make it to the picture because it was so good that we couldn’t resist ourselves! Update: you have to try their new drink, it’s so smooth, it’s a perfect dessert drink. We’re becoming addicted to this place!

We have passed this restaurant soo many times and have never dined there. Today we were looking for a place to eat at in Roswell that had gluten-free options and this restaurant popped up with many positive reviews. We decided to try it out and were pleasantly surprised by what a great looking restaurant it is, excellent service, a very flexible menu and excellent wait staff! Our server Miguel was super friendly, attentive and accommodating! This will definitely be our go-to Mexican restaurant in the area. So glad to have found this little gem!

The atmosphere of this place is amazing, the music is fresh and the decoration on point. The food was tasty and the portions generous. We had tacos, chimichangas and fajitas but definitely the best plate was the queso, it's a must. Margaritas are pretty good, especially a house special made with ginger syrup. The service was the best part of the evening, the manager Jose Eff took care of everything that night, we even got dessert on the house! Definitely will come back when I'm in town.
